As I have almost completed the first half of my cataracts surgery, here is my feedback thus far. From my first phone call from Johanne Roy at the Bellevue Clinique introducing me to your service to your staff at the front desk and the staff doing all the testing I am extremely impressed! Everyone was polite and helpful whenever I had questions about the test they were performing. The person that did the pre-op on me was very helpful and made me feel relaxed before going into the operating room. Doctor Zukor is fantastic, the minute I met him I felt in good hands with him. He explained everything to me from beginning on into the surgery and after. As after the surgery there was an infection in my eye he made sure that everything necessary was done to remedy the problem as far as calling me on the weekend to make sure that all was OK with me. Thumbs up to doctor Zukor and the whole team at the Bellevue Clinique! P.S. Looking forward to getting my left eye upgraded too! I am beginning to feel like the 6 million dollar man.

Finalement, vous rencontrer ce nouvel ophtalmologue qui a du plaisir à travailler et qui vous confirme que vous avez une atrophie optique sévère... Combien de personnes qui n'ont pas eu le courage de confronter Louise Charbonneau lorsque celle-ci c'est montré incompétente et insouciante et qui vivent aujourd'hui avec des problèmes oculaires qui risque de s'aggraver avec le temps? Posez la question c'est d'y répondre. De plus, la clinique d'ophtalmologie Bellevue qui tolère l'incompétence et l'insouciance de cette Louise Charbonneau...

On January 03 2018 my husband had an 11:30 appointment with surgeon for cataract surgery. After waiting 1 hour he was conducted to a room where drops were put into his eyes and then we were instructed to sit and wait for the surgeon to see us. After another hour we decided that due to my husband"s type 2 diabetes, it was best to go home and have something to eat. So I inquired if we could reschedule appointment for an early morning. We were met by a barrage of accusations and we were berated in front of all the patients. There was no call for this. She even threatened that a word from her and the surgeon could refuse to operate on my husband because he was being soooo difficult! I am aghast and insulted by the apparent lack of DEONTOLOGY on the part of staff. It is not always the patients who behave badly but the staff should know better than to take out their frustration on the patients who pay good money for a modicum of civility.

It’s very deceiving to see technicians treating elderly with so much impatience. I was really in shock seeing my mom being treated with disrespect by a young lady doing tests.
