Saturday evening 4:40pm we are getting ready to jump on the highway for a trip to the city to attend a play (show time 7:30). Sam gets in the back seat and goes to clean his glasses when the frame breaks clear in half. What to do, he won’t be able to see the stage without them. Danielle grabs some tape and is about to tape them together. No, no let’s see what time IRIS closes tonight. What luck they are open for 20 more minutes. We walk in the door, explain our situation and one person goes to see if we have a replacement frame. Yes we do, so while he is figuring out if there is any sort of deal another takes the frame and lenses to set up them up. The first gentleman gets us an incredible 50% off and we are off on our adventure in less than 15 minutes. I would recommend IRIS to anyone for sure.

I have recently visited Iris Optical for an eye examination and I was astounded by the excellent service the team has provided me with. Seeing an optometrist and having kids with you during the appointment can be difficult but team Iris has helped me by keeping the kids occupied while I was able to focus on my eye exam and talk the professional. Exceptional service. I was looking for a specific frame and I had called ALL the optometry stores in Chilliwack and Abbotsford, Iris Chilliwack was the only store who would order the glasses for me, with a no obligation to buy if I didn't like the way they fit. Rebecca was the one who helped me, amazing customer service. I can't stress enough about this place as I called over 20 stores and Iris was the only one who would order them inform me, let alone not follow through with the sale if I didn't like it. Don't go anywhere else other than here! 5 stars!

Donna just took my ten year old Serengeti glasses (my favourite ever) and fixed them while I waited. I asked for the one of the lenses to be replaced as it had fallen out and I didn’t even notice I had no nose pieces. She replaced those as well all for nothing and in about ten minutes. Very friendly and helpful. I recommend supporting this local business. Ask for Donna and tell her Duane from Vancouver Island sent you.

A few months ago, having finally returned from Ecuador with it being an extensive 5 months past the departure date, I was in dire need of replacing my prescription lenses. Once having served the 2 week quarantine, I went in for an appointment and was serviced by a fine young lady Candice. She listened to my issue and concerns with my vision and lenses. My job involves day or night driving and the issues with my vision needed resolving. She went the extra mile , so to say, in customer service to help out my needs. Seeing as I was not able to return to Canada in my warranty period she was able to maintain it due to my lockdown and inability to get services to my lenses. I am a very happy customer because of her service to me and the investment for healthy vision. The entire staff is friendly and prior to this past visit, I have always had great service. Candice tho, she really made me smile with her bright personality. Iris is fortunate to have her amongst the team!

My husband has been going to Iris's chain for nearly 20 years. He did try a few cheaper options over the years when money was tight but we always ended up back at Iris. When our kids where born we naturally took them to Iris and have been going to the Chilliwack location for 10 years. They have gone above and beyond for my kids and husband. Even when there have been issues, usually not their fault, they have taken exceptional care of us. Iris is a little pricier than the competition but the quality of frames, warranty and service is well worth it.

Nice people. Slowest service ever. Arrive at 10:20 for a 10:30 appointment...an hour later, we get in. Not to mention the most awkward store setup. No thought towards customer privacy or comfort. Chipped furniture, dirty floors....ugh. For what they charge, I would expect better. Glad I dont have any eye problems, BUT, if I did...I would go elsewhere.

I came to Iris Optical for a medical exam, so I was worried. Candice was very kind and made me very feel well looked after. Dr. Law was very patient, knowledgeable and reassuring. I was also very impressed that Dr. Law's eye exam was in perfect French. The office checked on me after two weeks, which was awesome. On June 2nd 2021 I had an appointment for a complete eye check up. When the apt was booked, with the new receptionist I was NOT told of the price increase, even though when I spoke with Denise later on the phone she said they always advise. I am a senior, and the price within a year has gone from 70.00 for a complete to 105.00,this is a 50% increase, probably due to the fact that this Dr. has now joined with IRIS company.This is just a rip-off and I shall be looking for a new Dr. Unfortunate as this Dr. we both thought was very good. My Silhouette frames needed repair urgently on Monday - I dropped it off and was told to collect on Tuesday afternoon due to being short staffed it had not been done - Brian the manager over heard the conversation and stepped right up to the plate immediately and did the repair himself and I collected them 45 min later this is not the first time he has helped me as he has come in early before the store opened - as I am a severe asthmatic and cannot wear a mask for any length of time - to enable the fitting of my new glasses. I have an issue with my eyes and was recommended to get a contact for my lt eye. I went to see if I could taught how to insert it. Found out it had to be ordered in and noone was available to teach me therr would be someone in the next week. I got a phone call that the lens was in and I was able to come in till the following week and they reassured me there would be someone there. Well I went in today and guess what no teacher and didn't know when there would be. Why not tell me that when they called? I'm going elsewhere.

Unbelievable service! They helped me fix my glasses which weren't even purchased from them and didn't charge me a dime. It took the lady about 30mins ( it was a difficult fix) and she just kept on trying until they were as good as new. She even tightened the ear peices so they wont keep falling off during yoga anymore. I know where I will be going for my next pair of contacts or glasses!!

I had the best service possible at Iris in Chilliwack! All the staff were so sweet and helpful. I had my ten month old with me who was very fussy and tired. One of the staff members held him while I was looking at glasses and put him to sleep!! Aswell as the team member Candice who helped me choose BOTH pairs of my glasses. Candice had gone out of her way to find the polarized sunglasses colour that I was looking for and to have them put onto the frames I wanted. She was AMAZING! My family and I, are (were) regular Patients/customers of IRIS. The office as well Dr.Laudadio know that we spare no expense when it comes to our eyes. They very well know what I mean by that… I do not usually post comments on the web but this morning’s “treatment” received by the IRIS office here in Chilliwack is worth posting and here is why. I had previously (9 days ago) scheduled a 9:15 AM appointment to see Dr. Jonathan Laudadio. My 9:15 AM appointment arrived alone with a heavy snow fall but I was able to keep my appointment, arriving at 9:00 AM. Upon my arrival was informed that due to the weather Dr. Laudadio would be late. I express my sympathy and understanding for their business interruption and was willing to wait since the Dr. was late, but on his way. For me was important to be first in line to see the Dr. since I had to go to work after that. Followed my morning scheduled appointment, a family of 5 also had a scheduled appointment to see him after me, but the staff wanted to change mine so the group of 5 and others in line would not have been inconvenienced by rescheduling them. I guess changing my appointment was much easier for them than phoning and informing everybody else for the delay. Too much work since their day was full. I found this totally unprofessional, unacceptable considering I had to go to work after the visit. Also I found it discriminatory. I cancelled my appointment and left their office upset. The greed of them losing business by changing the others appointments and the way I was treated make me and my family of three (NOT FIVE) look elsewhere for another Doctor. Sorry Dr. Laudadio.
