The office, staff and doctor are great.Dr. Sherry is the best eye doctor we've ever been to (including specialists in GTA). He takes his time, doesn't cut corners and is very thorough with everyone, including kids.... BUT the eye glass company is HORRIBLE. The manufacturer cuts corners everywhere. We're having to send our glasses back for the 7th time (within 4 months) due to scratched lenses (yet we paid for scratch resistant, told we have it yet manufacturer never applied the coating which is clear), loose frames and returned glasses not fixed!! It's awful. DONT BUY YOUR GLASSES with the company they use. I really urge innisfil eye Care to change companies.

Dr. Shear and his team are so amazing! They are all kind and caring. They all make you feel comfortable. I am so blessed that my family has found Dr. Shear he has helped my whole family see better for more then 6 years. Plenty of upsell... I went in for an eye exam, the entire time the optometrist was trying to get me to buy all sorts of $50 + eye care 'accessories' that were convinently available for purchase at the front desk. This guy is a salesperson, going here felt more like walking into a car dealership than a medical office. I won't be back.

Be cautious of the pressured up-sell. My eyes were already dilated and I was sat at the 'scan machine' before the technician brushed over the additional cost - $70. She couldn't tell me if most benefits would/wouldn't cover it. Informed consent means giving me the time and space to consider cost/benefit and investigate if it is covered. Otherwise, it was a good experience with a reliable prescription. If you can, have a friend or family member drive you - the dilation is significant.

Dr. Sher took his time with my 4yr old who is usually not very cooperative. He has many years of experience and expertise, did a full eye exam, drops (not easy with her but he did it like it was no big deal!) And follow up. We got her fitted and chose glasses thanks to his great team. There is a play area for children which keeps them busy and occupied which was very convenient. Everyone works so well together and they actually made it a fun experience. I will definitely be back. Thanks so much!

Visited this facility to purchase safety lenses for work. Was shone on regarding the arrival date of the lenses (was told a week, and then told "we never do that" when they hadn't arrived in 10 days; they did arrive in 2 weeks). The person that makes telephone calls, however, for this business needs a new job. Neither the patient nor I appreciate being condescended to RUDELY on the telephone, failure to return calls and using the insanity approach to contact patients (do the same thing over and over and expect a different result). Awful experience for a highly necessary piece of equipment. I am revising this rating after being contacted again, by the company. Although I did not appreciate the way I was treated by the telephone staff, I will give the company credit that, on seeing this review, they called me to discuss my concerns. They made a concerted effort to apologize for my treatment, to accommodate my schedule, and to take steps to "make it right". I do not like having to post a bad review after a bad experience, but I am willing to give credit where it is due for the follow up given to address my issues. I am willing to believe that they are taking my experience seriously, and willing to respect the professionalism shown by Tracey and Dr. Sher.

Today was my first time at this awesome clinic. I am a ball of nerves in any clinical setting, but the moment I walked in the staff at the front desk immediately made me feel at ease. I believe Ethan was the assistant who walked me through the basics first, and then followed up with me after in helping me to choose a pair of glasses. He was beyond professional and even had me laughing with a few jokes which eased my anxiety. I have to say the doctor too was beyond knowledgeable and answered all my questions ( even the ones I felt were something I should already know, but didn't). He too had a great disposition and kept me calm the whole time. I can't thank the staff there enough. The ladies I met in passing were welcoming as well and the whole experience is one I won't forget. Thank you, thank you, thank you. See you in a few weeks to pick up my new glasses :)

Highly recommend Dr. Shier and his office, I tried him as a new patient for one reason he found a potential acute problem that was not showing any symptoms. Between his care and referral to a top notch specialist I am now on the road to recovery. Left untreated I could have lost my eyesight. His staff are very professional and helpful. Recieved a call last month telling me I was due for an eye exam. Didn't want to go back here because I found he was inpatient with my 9 yr old son, so booked elsewhere thinking I was due. Went to Barrie eye clinic with my daughter, both had eye exams, now recieved a call saying my eye exam isn't covered for 2 yrs. Called back Innisfil eye Care and asked why they called me and she said "oh it's recommended every year" pretty sure most insurance doesn't cover ppl every yr. Now I'm out $135 because they told me I was due for one. Prob shoulda dbl checked myself, but then after calling back was told people with glaucoma etc are only every yr. Maybe they should inform patients when they call for thatt " recommended" yearly 'checkup that's it's prob not covered
