I have been seeing Dr.Farrah Sunderji for over 5 years now for my dry eyes and she is AMAZING! I have seen such an improvement in my eyes and would not trust anyone else with my treatment. She is very knowledgeable and up to date with the latest information on dry eyes. She also takes the time to understand my problems and explains everything that is going on in my eyes. Her treatment plans are thorough and very easy to maintain. The staff at Eyedeology are great as well, I feel like I am visiting friends when I go for my appointments :) Highly recommend!!

I've been going to see Dr. Farrah and the staff at Eyedeology for almost 5 years. They worked with me transition to progressives and get the right computer glasses - they even came to my office to measure distances so I would get the most out of my prescription. Great experience! At times I can be a difficult customer to deal with and I acknowledge that. I've been dealing with Krissy since last year and her qualities are invaluable. She always goes over the top to help my situation and it really shows. Cant express how helpful and kind she is. Dr. Farrah is also an outstanding optometrist and very knowledgeable. During her examinations she explains everything and teaches you about your eye health. I like to ask ALOT of questions and she never rushed me. Overall, outstanding experience. Few months ago, my eyes' condition were so bad that I couldn't even see things clear. I was much worried at that time. Since I went to Eyedology, my eyes are better day by day. I had initially booked an appointment for my Husband and I but I didn’t know I could also book an exam for my daughter who is 9 months. They booked her in right away and Dr. Jessica did my daughter’s exam while I was with Dr. Farrah. My husband told me how amazing she was with our baby. Thank you to the lady who took the initial eye exams (I can’t remember her name!) I enjoyed talking and laughing with you! I had to redo one of the tests because we were laughing so much! I have seen 5 optometrists for my severe dry eyes condition. I have to say Dr. Farrah and Dr. Wong are the best and most empathetic. Unlike other optometrists, they did not try to cross-sell the fish oil they carry or tell me my recently procured pair of glasses are too strong/weak and I need a new pair. They also take their time to listen and explain my condition with empathy. They are supported by a group of friendly staff. Anyone who knows how debilitating dry eyes could be would understand. Out of all the ODs I have seen, I would only and highly recommend consulting with an OD at Eyedeology.

The staff and docs all are really good...very nice and polite....but they dont realize there is another dimension in the world called TIME...i have been going for the last 2 months just to get a distance prescription and not able to get...trying to give me what i dont want.....and every appt i waste almost 2 hrs.....its annoying....will never come here...

When I had eye infection andy opthalmologist was not available, I called her office and her receiption was able to squeeze me in an emergency. For as long as I can remember I've been suffering from eye fatigue and discomfort which I just assumed was because I wear contacts everyday. After seeing Dr. Farrah and her team, I learned that Dry Eye Syndrome is a really common issue that can be treated rather easily (not sure why all my optometrists weren't able to identify this). Anyways as we continue my treatment, my eyes have never felt so good. Dr. Farrah is great at explaining the situation so that I understand what exactly we're trying to accomplish. It was by fate that I found Eyedeology! I had googled downtown eye doctors, and the name caught my attention. As well they had online booking, so I gave it a try. They called me back to confirm the appointment for the time and date I had requested, to my surprise, as I had done this with very short notice. I then googled for directions, and found it was almost right across the street from my place! When I got there the next day, I found the most caring and friendly people, everyone went above and beyond to make a warm and inviting, friendly atmosphere. Dr. Farrah and her staff are great. I had a challenging contact lens fitting (myopia, presbyopia and astigmatism in 1 eye, and myopia and presbyopia in the other) and had to try several different lenses to get to the pair where I could see well, both close up and for distance, and also be comfortable. They were very patient and committed to finding me the right fit. I am very pleased with the result!

I've chosen Farrah based on her good reviews. She did not disappoint me as a doctor , as she was examining me at the very beginning, several years ago, but after that even when asking to have her examine me, I have been examined by someone else in the office, who's expertise and review would be unknown to me. That happened several times, until I gave up on this office. That happened to my family members as well, so no one is any longer going to this office. So, if you think you'll be seeing Farrah, think twice, as most likely subsequent exams would be with someone else. Another disappointment was that the last time I was invited to eye exam in the office, I had to pay full price of exam because I was scheduled two days before my benefits kicked in. How difficult was for the stuff to check with insurance when the benefits actually kick in, as they have all the information necessary to do that check in their computer system? After I expressed my concern I was told that it's my duty to check coverage, which is true, but when they schedule subsequent exam and they have all the data needed, good customer service would be to make sure it's when new coverage kicks in, not a day or two before. Sad to say, but can't recommend this office.

I have been seeing Dr Farrah for some time now due to my dry eyes and to also establish a baseline for any future issues that may develop. I find her and the office team extremely friendly all the time. She is very knowledgeable and helps me understand how vision works and certain problems that may develop. Their eye exams are VERY detailed and the results are explained perfectly. In my opinion they are an awesome group that I would not hesitate to recommend.

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! Dr. Farrah Sunderji and her team were so incredible and extremely professional. The team was so patient during my contact lens training and taught me a few different techniques until we found one that worked for me. This no more than 2 days after the optometrist at Walmart showed up late for my appointment and then kicked me out after 10 minutes because "I wasn't getting it and they had another patient waiting". So I decided to pay Eyedeology a visit based on the other reviews. Boy was I ever did!! I would never go anywhere else ever again. They had a great selection of contact lenses and frames too! It was also so great to see how incredibly clean and sanitary everything was, I felt very comfortable walking in there. I cannot express enough how above and beyond they went for me. You can't go wrong with this place.

My two children and myself all go to Eyedeology for our eye exams. I have several eye issues and I trust Dr. Wong to keep an eye on my retinal issues. Dr. Wong also spent a lot of time that my contacts fit perfectly. I’ve not seen this well in years. Dr. Wong and Dr. Tran are fantastic with young children. My 3 year old daughter loves going to her appointments and they also are great with infants. Eyedeology also has a good variety of children’s glasses. I called around as I initially thought the prices were High, but when I spoke to competitors who sold children’s glasses, they all told me the price and quality of glasses I was getting couldn’t be beat.

I first saw Dr. Sunderji about 2 years ago for a routine eye exam and was immediately impressed not only by her level of knowledge in optometry, but also by her kind, patient demeanor. She proceeded to conduct a very thorough exam on my eyes and suggested alternative contact lenses and a treatment for my very dry eyes. Her skills were further confirmed when she discovered a mole on one of my eyes and immediately referred me an ophthalmologist who was also very impressed by Dr. Sunderji’s thoroughness. I don’t want to think about what could have happen should this mole have been left undetected. Huge cudos also to Jeaneane, the frames queen. I was not a huge fan of wearing glasses at all until Janine found the frames that fit me absolutely perfectly.

The whole process of my eye surgery was easy and went very smoothly. I highly recommend this place. I came to Eyedeology for the first time in May. I had no idea I even had chronic dryness, I just chalked it up to the weather and my eye surgery (PRK) from 2 years ago. Dr Jessica and Dr Farah have helped me through it since and I now know how to manage my eyes better than before. Every person in the clinic is lovely and always willing to help. I saw dr Farrah during the first week of September for an eye exam. I had sought her out after seeing all her positive reviews on here and her interviews on TV. I had high expectations and unfortunately I had a terrible experience with Dr Farrah. Things got of to a bad start when I arrived at their office at 2:45 PM for my 3 PM appointment . I had been told when i booked my appointment to show up 10 min early to do paperwork so I got there at 2:45 PM to be make sure i was on time. When i got there I found out they where actually closed until 3 so i had showed up early for nothing. When i was eventually seen by Doctor Farrah she was completely overwhelmed with the situation with my vision. For nearly 3 hour she put me through test after test and did not seem to know what was going on with my eyes. Every question I asked her she would give vague answers and contradict herself from one sentence to the next. This was not at all the expert I had expected. Eventually she decided she would refer me to a specialist and work with him to decide what to do with me. After I saw this specialist, he told me I would need to wear new contacts and that Dr Farrah's office would follow up with me with his recommendations. It's now been several weeks since then and I have yet to receive any further information from Dr Farrah or anyone at her office. I also want to mention that Dr Farrah tried to charge me a higher price then initially agreed upon. I have no insurance so I pay all my medical bills myself. Because of this I always make sure to know all prices in advance. When I booked my appointment with Dr Farrah I was told that the costs for an exam for a contact lenses wearer like myself was $185. But when I finished my appointment with Dr Farrah the receptionist asked me to pay $210. so I asked her what the extra $25 was for. She went and spoke to do the doctor and then told me that the extra $25 was because of the trial contact lenses they where ordering for me. I was surprised by this since I've never had any eye doctor charge me for trial lenses; its usually included in the cost of the exam. In the end I never even received these trial lenses they where apparently going to order for me. In conclusion, to anyone reading this I would advise you to ignore all the other reviews you see here as I now strongly suspect most of those reviews are fake. I'm a young man in my 20s and I've never in my life written a review for someone . But i was so disappointed with my experience with Dr Farrah that I felt compelled to post this review. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a medical professional in my life and I cannot understand how someone as incompetent as Dr Farrah ended up with so many positive reviews.

Summary: prescribed high strength anti-inflammatory drugs, didn't solve root cause of problem. I went there as it felt like I had something in my eye for 2 days, and it was really scratchy, red and sore. My eyes were examined, nothing found, and I was prescribed an anti-inflammatory. After 3 more days I still had discomfort and went for a second opinion. I went to Dr Tim Hay in the Suncor building who examined my eyes and found an eye lash that was growing into my eye causing the issue. He said he would have never prescribed a strong anti inflammatory as it only masks the symptoms and doesn't solve the issue. Everybody working there was really nice and the service was good, but I am not impressed that this was missed, and a drug that shouldn't have been prescribed was prescribed, and will not be back.

I have been coming to the clinic for over 5 years for treatment of a severe dry eyes condition. Dr Jessica and team have been instrumental in helping me to manage the condition by providing an excellent care plan and the latest in treatment options. I went there for a routine eye exam, the staff were friendly and the technology they used looks up-to-date...so 5 star so far for my visit. Three days later I received a text/email that I have another appointment which I was not aware of...and you know they say they'll charge you if you don't show up. So I had to call to see what's this appointment about. They said it's for glasses consultation!! Well...nobody told me I have another appointment and they just gave me a random day/hour for something that I had no idea! I don't think that was very professional. I'm adding this part as I can't reply...Thank you Eyedeology for reaching out to me. I understand this mistakes happen. As I mentioned before, I was very satisfied with the service that I received. I changed my 3 star rating to 4 star because they reached out to me after my review and sincerely apologized for the mistake. I went to eyedology to get two visual tests done for work, which are considered routine, and left with an 1,200 bill. I get my prescription has changed since the last time I got my eyes tested, which is fine; but I just felt like they took advantage of me as a new client to their clinic. This bill included 2 pairs of glasses (that were haphazardly fitted), the upsale of two 'cleansing' eye foams/sprays that I honestly can't tell a difference when using, along with the eye examination. I have now asked twice that my vision tests be sent to me so that I can submit them to work. The whole experience felt rushed, giving me little time to weigh my decisions. It felt as though their aim was to sell me as much, as quickly as possible rather than meet my genuine needs. Would not recommend.

Dr Farah was able to help me with a serious dry eye condition. My eyes were rated a 2 out of 10 and after treatment at Eyedeology they have improved to a 7/10 and with still room for improvement. The clinic is very friendly and professional and they provide affordable access to treatment. I had seen many eye Dr in the past and they were not able to help or treat my dry eye condition, most prescribed over the counter eye drops which only made the problem worse or dismissed and minimized the effect it had on my quality of life. Dr Farah provides for her patients with the most recent treatments which are standard in the US and that many Canadian Dr are not familiar with. I am very satisfied with the treatment I received here and I would recommend this clinic for anyone with serious dry eyes who needs the proper treatment or anyone who is concerned with the health of their eye.

When you meet Dr. Farrah, you recognise right away that this doctor genuinely enjoys her work and wants to help her patients. After a detail examination she took the time to explain my eye condition very thoroughly and answer all my questions and concerns. We got overnight contacts for our daughter and after the fitting, she was sent home with just contacts and solution. They did not let us know that she may need eye drops until she has a cornea scratch. After that, we find out from a friend who’s child also had the same contacts that there is a six hour cleaning solution a day and that the contacts need to be rubbed and cleaned twice a week. I had to get the care instructions from a friend. This is so unprofessional and lack of diligence.

For several years I had been complaining to my optometrist about a sharp pain in my left eye. He would comment that my eyes were dry but that he could find no physical problems. When the sharp pain started occurring in my right eye, I went to my GP. My GP suggested Dr. Farrah to see if my dry eyes were responsible for the sharp pain. Turns out - it was. Dr. Farrah let me know she could help me, but that it was not going to be a quick fix. I was okay with that. Over the past year, my eyes have gone from very dry and painful to pain free and lubricant. Dr. Farrah's knowledge is exceptional and she works with you to create a plan that you can easily implement into your life. Her support team is fantastic, providing outstanding customer service. The eye exam was very sci-fi and high-tech, but the service reminded me of an ol' country doctor. No stone left unturned, but in a calm and relaxing manner. I did not feel rushed or unimportant and always felt I was the centre of their focus (totally intended). Finding the right pair was calm, and I never felt rushed finding the one I liked. I went in today to grab them and was provided a nifty little attachment for my mask which helps prevent fogging, an unrelenting reality this day and age. I attend here for my annual eye exam. I am very happy with the check up. It is always thorough and Dr Farrah always takes her time and gives excellent recommendations. The office staff is also very nice. I am very happy and will always visit eyedeology for my annual eye exam.

My experience with Dr Farrah, Dr Marilyn and the staff at Eyedeology has been nothing, but positive. They are friendly, professional and easy to communicate with. VIP, the wait times at Eyedeology are minimal.!!! -Dr Farrah is knowledgable about her field of Optometry and dry eye treatment, and keeps up to date with the latest medications, techniques and technology. -I saw Dr Farrah for the first time, 11/2 years ago. My vision was blurred & somewhat distorted. It was just 1year following cataract surgeries to both my eyes. -Dr Farrah immediately called in Dr Marilyn and started extensive tests on my eyes. Dr Farrah, as characteristic of her, did not stop until she found the problem. She referred me to the best specialist she knew, when she realised that my condition was outside of her field. Dr. Jessica Yang - a consummate professional. Great, friendly and helpful staff. Very informative and thorough, they take time to make sure you understand everything -- from examination, to ordering glasses, contacts, insurance coverage, costs, or any questions that you have about your eye health and options for vision correction. I do not remember the last time an eye specialist taking such a long time to thoroughly examine my eyesight. Good vision is SO important to one’s health and Eyedeology has the right ideology when it comes to treating and educating their patients. I've been a fan of Maui Jims. Each time I've been able to find what I like and what suits my face. I have had eye irritation twice and each time she has been there to check and explain and prescribe a cream if necessary that has worked instantly. Went to see Dr farrah sunderji regarding my eyesight as I felt it was reverting back after getting Lasik. Wonderful clinic. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and professional. I have had dry eye issues for years, that feeling that something was scratching my eyes. With the constant blinking trying to relieve the pain caused, it was difficult to focus on anything, making me tired and headache. Since i have their treatment there is such a great relief right from the first set of drops. Then I had the llux treatment. Oh what a wonderful feeling. I imagine it must be like a little piece of heaven, such a relief from itchy dry eyes. It is hard to explain but I immediately noticed i could see better and had the feeling in my eyes something like touching a soft silk blanket instead of compared to touching a rough concrete sidewalk. I cannot fathom how one person could ask multiple times a day "Which is more clear? 1 or 2? Now this is 3 and that's 4". Hell, she has been doing that for 20+ years, yet she always keeps it fresh and upbeat. Definitely the best eye doctor I have ever had (perhaps I am biased). I will say this: It is rare to find staff that make you feel welcome and cared for, but Eyedeology has a wonderful way with their customers. I recently visited Eyedeology to get new glasses as its close to my work. We had eye exams for my 20 month twin babies, for my wife and myself. I was so impressed how well the doctor testing my children's eyes did with both of them. Not a single cry as the doctor was very understanding and really good with young children. I bought a pair of prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses. Karen was the best, she recommended over 15 pairs to choose from and helped me decide the best pair. I have never been happier in my 30 years of wearing glasses everyday. Such a comfortable pair for work. The prescription sunglasses are amazing. Dr Farrah Sunderji is just great. I was sick of rotating through a larger firm and never seeing the same Dr. twice. So I looked around for an owner/operator and could not be happier. They have an interesting shared office space with other medical professionals so you could probably get everything done there but I've only dealt with Dr. Farrah and her team. She gave me an extremely thorough exam using all of the bells and whistles and fancy machines I'd become used to and a couple that were new to me. She spotted a scar from a childhood injury immediately (I've had to point it out to some Optometrists in the past). She's having me return in 3 months just to be sure she has a solid baseline for comparisons in the future. I'm really impressed with her professionalism and the time she spends. They have a great range of frames and found me two pair that actually look good (I don't think I look good in glasses, but they did very well). The whole team are very pleasant to deal with and do their jobs really well.

I'd been procrastinating on having my eyes checked for quite some time now. Finally, I decided it was time due to the recent change in my vision. My fiancé made an appointment with Dr. Farrah at Eyedeology and I was quite impressed. The environment was neat and organized, the staff was friendly, and Dr. Farrah was amazing. She answered all the questions I had about my eyes and she even helped me pick out a pair of frames. Not only was Dr. Farrah thorough, but she had her lab rush my order due to the fact I was traveling back to the states 3 days later. I absolutely love the frames she recommended and already received many complements. The entire appointment was uncomfortable, except the women in the beginning who ran all of the test on my eyes. She was extremely polite and efficient. The eye doctor kept dropping hints about the products they sell there. She was thorough in my exam I will give her that. Hard to have faith in a physician though when they are discussing their make up products and sunscreen they carry. At the end, on cue the eye glass sales women knocked and came in to guide me to look at the glasses. Unfortunately, they did not have any that suited my face. Despite the sale women telling me each and every pair looked great on me. I had to state three times I would just like my prescription and to pay for my appointment. She was completely ignoring me. She also said the dr wants you to buy these eye drops and use twice a day; we had never discussed the use of eye drops so this was just yet another add on. After I stated that I would not be purchasing a pair of glasses from them she had a complete attitude and was so quiet, shut down and ignored me. I would never recommend this establishment and Im shocked the reviews are so high unless people are being bullied into leaving good reviews. You should pay for a service and it should be OPTIONAL to purchase glasses from them. I left just shocked that employees in an optometrists office would act so childish.

My children have seen her from birth and are so excited for their regular checkups. Dr.Farrah and Dr.Jessica have helped identify a potential eye issue with our newborn and are currently helping him get glasses to help his eyes (I am beyond grateful for this as he is so young and cant tell me if anything is wrong). The team helped us with multiple tests on him and after 3 hours he wanted to continue to play with everyone there! The team at Eyedeology goes above and beyond to make sure your appointment goes as smooth as possible and that any follow-ups are done effectively. Dr.Farrah and her team have also helped me change up my makeup products to eye friendly products which means that I can now wear eye liner and mascara without aggregating my dry eyes!! All the reviewers so far sound like they are friends or family members. The doctor was relatively young, the equipment new, and location convenient is for people working near by. I think the business is not bad, other than everything there is priced for people with Cadillac insurance policies. You can get an eye exam for half price down the block. They also charge $25 for contact fittings. The variance in price is a gouge, but convenience prevails for some. I disagree with the fluff reviews on here, and that is why I'm rating it 2 stars.

I recently went to purchase new glasses from eyedeology and had an amazing experience! The staff were so friendly and offered honest opinions of the glasses I tried on. They didn't pressure me to choose an expensive pair, they just wanted me to be happy with the pair that I picked out. As a student buying glasses can be tough because of the cost, eyedeology had very reasonable prices and a wide variety of frames to choose from. Dr. Farah is amazing and takes time with you to make sure your prescription is perfect and explains all the different lens options in a way that's easy to understand.
