Avoid disappointment, go elsewhere. Lower eyelid blepharoplasty surgery experience: Scheduled surgery -12:00 pm, actual surgery time - 4 pm To be expected if paid for by AHC but this was an elective surgery I paid over $4,000 for. Appointments in office always run late Post Surgical complications - developed fluid buildup in whites of my eyes which has been ongoing for over a year. Post surgical follow up visits - Dr Punja dismissed this complication and prescribed corticosteroid gel daily. Symptoms persisted and he then chalked it up to "Allergies", told to use antihistamines. Went to my Optomestrist today and correctly diagnosed with Conjunctival Chalasis. Good news is I finally have a valid diagnosis. Bad news is I need more surgery to correct the surgical complications. Am being referred to another Opthamologist as I can't trust Dr Punja to do the corrective surgery. Very disappointed with the entire experience.

Stay away! I would give ZERO stars but not an option. Utter incompetence and you will have to continue going back to have the previous procedure fixed due to incompetence. The staff are cold, unaccommodating, don't return calls and couldn't care less that you have to travel 300 km round-trip for each visit. Can't wait for this nightmare to end!

Staff here is completely incompetent. If you're unfortunate enough to have to go here, expect to wait way longer then you should and there's a chance they will forget about you. If you've been waiting a while, make sure to remind them you are there. They will let you literally sit there for hours. Horrible experience from an even worse staff.

Waited for 4 hours and got frustrated and left. That is a total of 5 appointments for a little lump on my eyelids. Can not believe this offices time management. Horrible and I would never recommend.

The dr Im sure is good. but they keep you here long enough that you will have to pay for parking. I'm sure it keeps the rent down. Been here two and a half hours have not seen a dr.

My mom had the worst experience ever!! She had the eye lifting surgery done that was covered by Alberta Health Care. After surgery she noticed that something wasn't quite right with her eye lids. When she went for a follow up appointment she explained her concerns. The doctor ignored what she said and told her that her eyes are better than before and just left the room. After this visit my mom wanted to go further with the eye surgery but because of his unprofessional behavior she decided that she can't trust him. So she wanted to speak to the manager of the clinic. The manager was aware of the situation and didn't want to talk about it because she didn't want to hear the truth. Very, very disappointing and I would not recommend this doctor to my worst enemy.
