I went to a optician after 5 years for eye sight testing,i have a small mole on the lower eye lid of left eye i requested him to refer me to a eye surgeon for its removal,he suggested I need cataract surgery of both eyes and refered me to Demong Associate Eyecentre.Before it I went to my family doctor for medical fitness for the renewal of my driving licence,Dr.told me my eye sight is good for vehicle driving. On 14th.October,2014,Dr Bill Chow conducted my left eye surgery after getting my full medical check up report from my family doctor and charging $125.00 for my eyes measurements.during the surgery i felt unbearable pain in my eye which was freezed,I felt it is being pressed with force by some small round tip tool and It was hard for me to breath under the apron which was placed on my face,but he paid no attension.Which resulted the damage to my cornia,Hamarage and injuries on my eye,resulting the loss of my eye sight and turned me blind by left eye.He did not disclosed it after surgery and send me home and called me next day at 9 A.m.instead of sending me to Emergeny treatment in a General Hospital.I find Dr.Bill Chow is not capable for eye surgeries.He may be the worst ir-responsible surgeon in our community.I came in at Demong at 8-30.A.M but Dr.Chow arrived after 9-35 and told me due to hamarage he cannot treat me and after 24hrs refered me to Dr.Williams Robert Geoffrey hiding the cause of hamarage in his referal,which caused the delay of my Vitrectomy surgery by 10 days.So the incapable ir-responsable surgeon turned me Blind by left eye.Alberta Health Care may Examine the set up of these Eye surgeons experience and their equipment which is out dated.

Just went for an annual check up with my regular eye doc. 8 years after surgery and still 20/20 vision! My regular eye doctor was also very impressed with how well I had healed so quickly after the surgery. DrDemong and his staff were absolutely wonderful and took lots of time to talk to me and explain things. I was a -8 in both eyes going in and they couldnt guarentee 20/20. I was turned down by other eye clinics and told I was not a good candidate. Thank you so much Dr.Demong for such a great gift!

So I had Femto SBK done about 5 months ago here. (I think it's called Focus Eye Center now though) Vision is great. Had some obviously funky problems after the surgery with the eyes healing and all that but these days I'm so happy I did it. The liberation that comes from 20/20 eyes is marvelous. I didn't think I'd actually feel so free but somehow just not being limited to the glasses has completely transformed my life. I think the biggest joy came from when I got a haircut and could actually see how my hair was being cut in the mirror. Or when I went for a swim and could actually see around me. The staff here were nothing but extremely courteous and friendly. The follow up checks were thorough though to be honest how they kept saying there was no problems at all did unnerve me a little. This is mostly because being my paranoid self, I found it hard to believe I didn't have any major issues but it turned out to be completely unfounded. If I had to do laser eye surgery I'd definitely do it again. That I didn't do it when I was younger is my only regret.

I definitely would recommend Demong. They took great care of me, the procedure went really well. No pain and no issue afterwards or during recovery. Almost 10 years after, my vision is still 20/20.

I went to Dr. Demong for Femto SBK corrective surgery April 2019 (5 months before writing this). Since then, my eyes have fully recovered and my vision is better than 20/20. I've experienced some dryness during recovery, as to be expected, but no other negative symptoms. The office is nice, the staff were friendly and professional, and Dr. Demong was very attentive and knowledgeable. I had some hesitations based on some reviews for Dr. Demong online, but reached out to former patients and a friend in training to be an ophthalmologist, and was assured that he is of the highest standard and one of the best in Calgary/Canada. I would recommend him to any friends or family.

They put on a great sales show. I had complication with one one and dr demong re did it. It still was worse that original vision. He blamed it on me being a smoker???? Funny it was never mentioned in the sales show, or consultation !! If smoking somehow has an effect on the outcome, one would think it's mentioned BEFORE they take the money and ruin one eye !!

Staff is rude, tell you cannot work for a week but if you need a letter you must pay $30 after they already charge you $1500 for surgery. Money grab

Very professional and knowledge staff. I would recommend this place to anyone. World class !!! I went from not thinking i was a candidate (according to Gimble eye center I'm not) to getting Fempto Lasik SBK and I now have vision better than 20/20 !! They have the newest and best technology. People actually coming up for the U.S. for its place.

I am so impressed with the staff and care provided by Dr. Demong! As a first time cataract patient I was nervous. The staff were extremely helpful and were able to anticipate and answer all questions. Preparation for the operation took 30 min and another 15 min to do the surgery which was painless. I am so pleased with my significantly improved vision. If someone had told me it was so much better than going to the dentist for a filling, I would have had no reason to be nervous.
