Busy place, but the only one of its kind in Alberta. Friendly & knowledgeable staff. Wait times aren't really all that long, despite how many people come through here. Very glad there's a place like this to treat vision problems. Otherwise, it would be "dog and cane" time for a lot of people.

Dr. Baker have healing touch. He saved my father’s eyes. He was diagnosed with retinopathy. And if he would have not received Dr. Baker’s treatment in time. He would have became blind in his right eye. He cares for his patients and from how he did laser treatment in my dad’s eyes. I can tell that he is very experienced and knows his stuff! Thanks to the excellent service and great treatment I will continue to see Dr. Brad Hinz ... what I most liked was the way I received the very knowledgeable information, it was given both directly and to the point, which quickly brought emotional relief... let alone that all of my questions were answered and not dismissed in any manner... And all those responsible for booking appointments, nurses, etc and preparing you for your appointment, were taking the time to be watchful / concerned for your well being while being in the waiting room :-) one last thing is the fact is that the environment itself is very soothing and calming afterall most of us do wait nervously. However with a team like that backing excellent doctors I haven't seen anything that beats it (and my eyesight is not that bad haha lol ) ...all around a wonderful experience!!! Dr. Greve saved me from losing my sight. He properly diagnosed the problem, assigned a treatment, and my sight, which I was losing (and it was scaring the hell out of me) came back to where it was after just a few weeks. Yes, it's a busy clinic, but it's organized and you can't substitute EXPERIENCE. Thank you Dr. Greve :-)

This clinic is wonderful. Dr. Somani is an exceptional physician, and all of the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Some days the wait time gets a little out of hand, but it's to be expected. It's worth the wait, though. Dr. Somani saved my vision and I'll be forever grateful! The after-hours call service is an invaluable service as well - all of my emergency calls were answered quickly and my concerns were handled very well. Thank you, ARC - you guys are fantastic!

As a new client I was not informed by staff when they called to confirm my appointed that my eyes would be dilated. Very fustrating especially when it was a 730am appointment.

Dr Ehman did great work at ARC. Repaired ERM and i still hold my class 1 drivers. Operated dec 2019, eye exam for cdl drivers end march 2020. Thanks dude. Wont forget your help and kindness. Your staff is great.

I was one of the people who was not very pleased with the way my tear was taken care of. I was not told to bring a driver after the surgery I was told OK to drive home. I am not sure if every one has terrible pain (teeth clinching)or was I not given enough freezing,would like to know if others experienced this. Last not given information about does and donots. I was lucky only little scaring at 9,10 oclock.

Terrific care - stabilized my mother's macular degeneration. Only knock against it - terrible building. Elevators are not very dependable and RUN DON'T WALK away from the pirates (Precise Parklink) that manage the lot. Park anywhere else, don't risk getting scammed by their lousy ticket machine.

Everyone should know that the staff you see are not qualified to be going over medical histories or administering medications. The doctors should be hiring nurses and they choose not too to save money. Please keep this in mind if you go there, there are standards required and they are not following these. Ask when you are seen about qualifications and you will see. Would you feel comfortable knowing that medications are being drawn up by just anyone....likely not. The doctors know better and choose to run a clinic with unqualified workers instead of other health professionals.

I can only go from my mothers experience, she had mentioned she had a blast with the staff, that she should have gotten her eyes done sooner if she had known it was so easy and the staff were so nice. Why I am rating them five stars though is because they sent me a condolence card when she had passed away, no idea how they found out about her passing, but it was appreciated immensely. Thank you

Parking is horrendous in this area. Why such a facility would be put in a district in a building with virtually no parking is stupid beyond words. I had to park blocks away which made picking up my wife after her surgery very problematic.

Dr greve is the best , I came to edmo ton in 2013 from newfoundland where I was told there was nothing else they could do for me with my diabetic retinopathy. After seeing Dr greve he did his magic and I have been doing really well since ,these drs are the best at what they do and I am so grateful to have them .

Wow, very quick & professional office. In and out in 4 hours but seemed like 2. Had my eyes examined with 3-4 different eye examinations, told I had a torn retina and needed laser treatment. An explanation was given of what to expect and within 30 minutes I was at the check out counter.....laser treatment DONE!

My Macular Degeneration problem developed suddenly in 2016. Dr Riz Somany handled my case. His friendly reassuring approach to the problem diagnosis and professional treatment worked wonders. During my last visit, my AMD had not only stabilized but the vision was improved. Medical journals say that there is no cure for AMD, but I can say the pious hands have magical effects. If you are picking up a patient , don’t bother trying to find out their status at pickup time . Smoke signals might be more effective. Ridiculous. They think their self serving automated phone service actually works .

I come here with senior family members. I dread it every time because the facility is very overcrowded. It’s hard to manage someone with limited mobility. Getting to the clinic, drop-off and parking are difficult. On the positive side, our experiences with the doctors has been good. It would be nice, however, if the staff would introduce themselves.

When your diagnosis is a gigantic retinal tear at 10:30 am in Grande Prairie and you are admitted at Royal Alexandra at 7 am the next morning for surgical repair it could feel terrifying, however the professionalism of Dr. Greve and the team at the the Alberta Retina Consultants gave me confidence and allowed me to concentrate on a positive outcome! Hats off to Doctor Greve the team at the institute and all nurses at the Royal Alexandra!
