If I could give 0-stars I would! Between this Notary and the Sellers Notary mistakes were made that have affect my pocket book. When we came in to sign the papers, we pointed out an error on the documents and were assured by the officer that everything was correct, and everything was in order. Well, here we are a month later, and now they are coming after for this mistake, a mistake I pointed out at the onset. To make matters worse they have outright lied to other Notary claiming I said no such thing. Take your business elsewhere, and do not trust these people, as any mistakes will likely cost you, and they will NOT take professional responsibility for their errors.

The owners of this business are prejudice and liars . I am a 35 year old single dad who works full time I went to see Trish the owner with my grandmother to get a power of attorney written up in case anything happened to my grandmother. Trish the owner tried to talk my grandmother out of putting me on the POE while I wasn't there and said that people with tattoos aren't trust worthy. About a month later they tried to talk my grandmother out of helping me and my daughter to buy a home. The house was going to be in both my and my grandmothers names and they lied to my grandmother and said not to put my name on the title because icbc would put a lien on the house because of money I owed for tickets.

Tried to charge for unnecessary work, when I refused they said it would be 5 times more when I came back. Spoke to lawyer that confirmed that all that was required was a witness to a signature. Not to mention that none of my calls where answered and I had to physically go to the office to make an appointment. I do not recommend them at all.

The person on the other end of the phone seemed frustrated or perhaps having a bad day! It was a good earning opportunity for them since I had about over 100 pages of documents/certificates that needed to be certified.

Didn't ask any relevant questions and when I tried to provide the information I knew they would need to complete the paperwork work, I was pushed off the phone and told they were really busy......How can they do their job without the relevant information?! After 30 years of loyalty to Fedewich for all our notary needs, my mother was in from Alberta for a short time, and we had to have important title transfers notarized. Fedewich said tough luck, so we went to Simer Notary on 176 st and 64 ave, as they made a special effort to come in and accommodate us. They were superior in every way to Fedewich, including service, price, and comfort of their office. Fedewich must be making too much money to care about giving good service to loyal customers anymore. If I were you, I’d switch everything you need notarized, etc to Simer Notary, who also deal in multiple languages. Shame on you Fedewich & Witt.

She was very easy to listen to, gave us great information, answered all questions , and gave out handouts not only about POA's but also about Estate Planning in general. She gave some great advice and suggestions. At one point, I was quite nervous about going through with the process but Trish made me feel at ease by going over my legal rights as a buyer. Norman has bad performance and is so unprofessional. He was asking his other notaries in front of me, client if he would be able to do 3/4 instead of 1/2 portion of the utility bill. This is very a common calculation when sellers or buyers require. He also hasn't checked title search before requesting new contract. What he requested is already registered in title. The worst thing ever is notaries agreed to take the paperwork to be complete on schedule, a day later I called them back, they said they wouldn't do it because they haven't received the contract. Even though they haven't received the fax from other notaries office, don't they have time to call me back to update? This is the most horrible experience.
