Got super lucky and stumbled upon a great mechanic talking to people around town - I have a MINI cooper, not super common up here and a stick no-less, so I was really worried about finding someone I trust to work on it in the Soo. They fit you in as soon as they can, they're straight forward and clear on what needs to be done and why - or if the thing is more superfluous and doesn't need to be done. For example, my bf had an engine light on and it's just a faulty gas tank sensor that isn't 100% necessary to replace. Ask for Jimmy Dunn, he replaced my clutch in a few days and my car was right back to me. I know my mechanic so well I get a personalized oil change sticker.

Great garage. This place will actually SAVE you money if they can by not making unnecessary repairs that others would tell you that you absolutely have to have. IE: Replacing the cats because of the codes instead of just the O² sensors.

I can't believe how fast and professional this business is. We are camping at the Soo and my truck needed a repair. I didn't have an appt. But they got my truck in, diagnosed the problem and called with an estimate. In 4 hrs, my truck was back on the road and I'm confident it's fixed right. Total cost was even lower than estimate. Great business. Thanks Quality car care.

The lady with whom I spoke with today was inconceivably rude. They gave me an estimate which was far higher than expected. When I expressed that we may not want to move forward with the repairs, it’s almost as if she took it PERSONALLY. I could not believe the way she spoke to me. Have had 3 wheel bearings done by this place, and now I will not be back. You don’t get to treat people that way ever, for any reason. EDIT: Apparently if you leave a negative review these people will literally CALL YOU and YELL some more about how they’ve been mistreated by other customers IN THE PAST and try to justify their actions. You cannot carry previous customer interactions to your next ones, very unprofessional.

Went in to have tires put on and to get an inspection. They put on the tires but didn't air them up. When I checked them at home all of them were below 20psi. 200$ for half a job. Edit- They read this review and gave a partial refund for the incomplete job. Thank you, and I hope the service is better next time.

Needed a cylinder coil replaced as my SUV was idling at stops and otherwise making awful noises. They got me in practically same day and had the repairs completed in under 24 hours (cylinder coil replacement and all spark plugs redone). Staff were professional, courteous, and accommodating - not to mention the prices were fair as well!

Amazing!!!!!!!!!! I have a 2014 Subaru Forester that I bought a few months ago (downstate) that needed a lot of work. My engine needed to be replaced and Mark was very kind and so helpful to find a used one for a great deal with only 20,000 miles on it. He also negotiated a price for me which helped tremendously with the cost. I have never had such great customer service before. Office staff are also very pleasant to talk to. They are fixing my car now and we’re upfront about the cost and the time it will take to have it completely fixed and out the door. This is the only place I will bring my car to from now on and I will highly recommend them to all my friends. Thank you so much Mark and quality auto you really go above and beyond!!!!!

We were camping at Brimley State Park and our power steering pump went out. With a 5 year old granddaughter along and no way to drive our camper back home over 400 miles we were so fortunate to have our car towed to Quality Automotive for repair. They are professional but they charge to much for the work they do. They charged me $40 for a brake inspection. They were going to charge me $715 for brakes roters and calipers. If anyone is looking for quality service and a fair price I suggest Storey Automotive. I paid almost $200 less for the brakes roters and calipers there.
