Usually I go to the other H&R by the KFC. Unfortunately, I went to this location because it fit into my hectic schedule. Well, the woman was pretty upset she actually had to do my taxes. Was quite snide with me. A few rude comments about my income, job, and completely condescending. Serious b*tch.
She explained and re-explained things that didn't need explaining, and was utterly vile (dirty looks, impolite comments) when asked questions, which of course she did not answer. Honestly just because its Monday it doesn't give you the right to be a trollop for working for all of 20 minutes to take $300 from me!
The offices were untidy, unkempt, and disorganized. It had a stagnant smell, like dirty gym shoes, dust, and BO. Some guy kept walking up and down the hall yelling "where is the microwave?", once I'd understand, twice if he wasn't yelling, but this went on for 5 minutes. The only thing professional about this place was the two panhandlers outside asking for change.
If you enjoy being treated like garbage, being insulted, or having some cranky old biddy talk down to you, this is the place to go. If not I recommend pretty much anywhere else. Even that scam artist "accountant" up by the casino would be better (they do overcharge and take twice as long to do the same work but without treating you like trash). Thanks Colleen, I'll take my money and taxes elsewhere next year. Turned me off of H&R Block. I've been using you for 9 years now but that's done.
