FedEx buzzed my apt so I buzzed them in....obviously they were upset I did that (not sure why since everyone else doesnt have an issue with dropping off at apt door) they put parcel outside my door and banged on the door so hard ... not proffesional

Ordered something from a US retailer. Expected the delivery to take a while, since it was coming from California, but surprisingly enough it got all the way to SSM in only a day or two. Where it has now been for over a week. For some reason, it hasn't left the city at all, and they keep on scanning it every day or so just to tell me it's still there. They haven't even attempted to deliver my package. Two days in a row now they've missed their own scheduled time. No attempts to contact me have been made. How HARD is it to deliver a package on time?!

What an absolutely horrible experience... I paid for priority shipping on an item. They claimed that they attempted delivery twice (they didn't - I was working from home). Then they said they called me for duty payment. They didn't. The man was so rude. The way he treated me was absolutely disgusting, as though it was my own fault I didn't get my parcel. I will now be waiting an additional 4 business days for delivery because the post is only open for one hour a day.

Ridiculous that this is only open for one hour per day. How am I supposed to pick up my package when I work 8:30-4:30? Terrible local office. Needs significant improvement.

TL;DR FedEx delivery window (8am - 8pm), depot hours (9am - 10am), and customer service all suck. Local FedEx drivers are amazing. Quite honestly the worst delivery service available in Sault Ste Marie. The depot is open for ONE HOUR per day, which makes picking up an undelivered package nearly impossible. There is no option to reroute the package or for evening or weekend delivery. When I called customer service I was told that FedEx would make one more delivery attempt the next business day between the hours of 8 am to 8 pm (I can’t stay home from work all day) or hold the package for five days (seems standard) and then return the package to the sender. Holding the package for pickup is a completely normal practice when the business hours are reasonable and convenient! I would not recommend shipping anything to Sault Ste Marie via FedEx. The only redeeming quality is the drivers!

Delivery guy does not even knock or ring doorbell. leave a tag on the door with no clear instructions. And then find out the pickup times are ONLY 09:00-10:00!!!!> useless company. they need to give it up. or hire drivers who will actually attempt delivery

I have a mailbox yet I keep finding my fedex packages thrown in the middle of my front lawn for anyone to take. Extremely unprofessional!

They tried to deliver my package when I was at work. Called them and scheduled a time for delivery...got a call back 10 minutes later telling me they can't ask the drivers to go out of their way to deliver after 2:30 when I will be home. Scheduled a new delivery date where I will be home the whole day, and took the day of work for it....they never delivered it. Scheduled the next day for it to be delivered and took the day off work for it...they never delivered it. (Today). Tomorrow is the 5 day business window where they mail it back to the sender!!!! NEVER again will I used fedex...NEVER!!!!! I wish I could give less than 1 star rating.

I had a similar experience to others. When my package didn’t arrive, I contacted Fedex to be told they had tried twice to make a delivery. Somebody is always at home with my housebound mother and nobody had attempted delivery or left a contact notice. I was told to receive my package from Fedex I would need to pay an $80 freight charge. Unbelievable!

My package was damage at several places when I received it. The driver didn't even wait 2 seconds, dropped the package where everyone could see it (package was thrown, not placed). Very disappointed of the service I received from them when there was a valuable item inside the package.

The one hour window for missed delivery parcel pickup, 9 - 10am, is just downright silly. Use a different service, one that actually caters to customer convenience.

They always come around 11-12 by my place. So i can time being home... nice people delivering. Only complaint is calling 1800 # to rebook delivery and they always get it wrong and come earler day when im not home. But over all they have been great to deal with
