My husband had some papers notarized, he did not tell him how much he was going to charge until after the fact. He charge $227.55, when I handed in the documents to the company they were for I told them how much we were charged. They said our insurance company would have done it for $25. I would not recommend getting documents signed here. Go to your insurance company first. Save yourself the headache of an unexpected and ridiculous cost.

As the fake reviews all say “amazing”, “great”, “excellent”, or “good” service, I’d like to give a truthful testimony about how GREAT this business really is, as his reviews of himself aren’t very original. This place is terrible, they guy will quote you a price then charge you a LOT more. He doesn’t know what he is doing, other than how to overcharge you. I now have to contact Revenue Canada to correct the mistakes he made filing my taxes, and inform them about him. He’s rude and annoying and obviously inappropriately arrogant. His “office” is a tiny, hot box in a basement with 7 fans blowing papers around. I will never go back, and suggest that anyone thinking about going there, should go anywhere else. He will ruin your Spring and Summer, and maybe your life!

I went in to get my taxes done and he immediately tried to grab my files, I told him I hadn't hired him yet, and would like to learn more about his services before going forward with it. He replied by saying "is this an interview". I felt very uncomfortable so I got up and left. We had our personal taxes done by Azhar and were very disappointed. He didn't know how to handle the Graduate Retention Program, and missed my wife's status as a full time student entirely. He also made it clear, while in the middle of completing our taxes, that he specialized in corporations (which he didn't tell us beforehand, or we would have gone elsewhere). We've had to amend our taxes ourselves since, and have our fingers crossed that nothing gets flagged. Overall, I would not recommend One Roof Solution for personal taxes, especially if you are/were a student. Edit: We've now had to make multiple changes to our tax returns, so I've dropped my score to one star (and would give zero if that was an option).

I believe a lot of these reviews are fake, because there is nothing good about this tax guy, it's 0/5. It's a guy in a stinky basement who doesn't seem knowledgeable at all. I had to explain some things to him several times, he was extremely impatient, he yelled at me because I put money into my RSP (he said only older people should do that), he told me one fee over the phone and charged me more after. He made a mistake on my tax forms and completely screwed up my friend's taxes! Would not go back to this place ever again! Would not recommend it to anyone! Learn from my mistakes and stay away!
