I advised that the state of Michigan allows her to charge a max of $10 per signature witnessed to what she continue to tell me that she has the right to charge me as much as she sees fit for her Transportation I then offered to meet her at the closest public gas station of her choosing and she then told me that she has the right to refuse business because I know the law and the max amount she can charge per witness of signing to which i informed her that I'd relay the Entirety of the conversation to Google reviews to which i did not receive a response

Katherine, from Safeguard Mobile Notary, came to our house to complete a refinance closing package with us. Her attitude and demeanor were extremely unprofessional. We accommodated her in all of her request, including: moving the scheduled meeting time ahead, placing a table in the garage during the Pandemic for a comfortable signing arrangement, and wearing mask and gloves to protect all parties involved. Katherine was very demanding in many aspects of the process. For example, we brought out our own blue ink pens so we didn't have to exchange pens with one another and we were told, in a very strict manner, that we MUST use her provided pens for the signing. We also kept our six feet distance, as the governor has requested during this pandemic, but were told that the spacing was not adequate and we must be arm lengths away to complete the process - WOW! To top things off Katherine was not able to successfully answer questions on the documents being signed, and when a mistake was pointed out she said: "just sign it anyways". After refusing to do so Katherine was clearly frustrated and her attitude continued to worsen. This process was a complete nightmare and made for a very uncomfortable hour. I would recommend staying far away from this company.

She was on time, fast, efficient, professional and affordable. And during this time of Covid-19, Katherine came to my house and worked with us, by standing outside. This eased and kept us calm as we where concerned about having to be around people due to some health concerns.
