I needed to get a document notarized quickly during the middle of the pandemic, so I called Shameela, who was recommended to me because of the convenient location. When she answered the phone, she was polite and responsive. Because I had a busy schedule, she was kind enough to offer to drive to meet me at a location of my convenience. When she arrived at the parking lot, she efficiently notarized my document and I was very pleased with her work. In fact, I was so happy with them, the very next day I contacted her again to notarize another document. Again, she again was willing to drive to a location of my preference to conduct the notarization. Overall, Shameela is professional, courteous and extremely competent in her role. I therefore highly recommend her as a notary.

Stay far from her! Very unprofessional, unreliable, uncooperative and time wasting. I told her right from the beginning that I need to give POA to someone in Sweden. She required information and documents by email, which I sent. Then we had further discussions and she postponed the meeting due to freezing rain. We agreed to meet on Saturday afternoon, then she suddenly refused with an excuse that she is practicing the Ontario law. This was acceptable for me though. Choose another notary public for your needs. Replying to your note: Your justification is not right. You did not even see the docs. You made an appointment with me, and suddenly refused to meet claiming that you cannot deal with docs going to another country, and that you only practice the Ontario law. I took exactly the same docs to another notary and got the things done shortly. Wishing you good luck and more courage for "dealing with foreign docs."

Because this office was shown as being open on Saturday I called to inquire about having my signature witnessed on a document. At first the owner seemed to be relatively personable but as soon as I expressed my sincere surprise at the cost for the service (80.00) she became rude, cut me off and hung up the phone on me.
