Ridiculous service. Packages sitting in Mount Pearl for three weeks now. First delivery date was May 15th and then May 28th and now there is no delivery date specified again. Understandable for delays during all of this but come on … UPS you suck!!!

Very disappointed. Waited for delivery was tracking with app. Driver refused to deliver to my home. Construction at beginning of my road. Driver would not take road around construction and drive in the other end of my road. Then a message was left directly to my voice mail. Didn't bother to call and talk to me. Said I have 5 business days to get package or they send it back. So now I have to find the depot and it's only 4 hours a day during the week. Unbelievable.
Package has been sitting at the Mount Pearl location for several days now, still not out for delivery. Stating "Severe weather delay" even though the weather has not been "severe". No way to find out potentially when it will be delivered.

I have never had a bad experience with UPS and use them for almost all of my delivery needs. The Customer Center gentleman is a very nice guy and offers help to ensure your package is properly packed and gets the most efficient delivery.
Paid for worldwide expedited shipping and received my package quickly and on time in great condition.
My package could not be delivered because of mistake in address. Called UPS customer service who had item held at the customer care centre. Staff were fast and courteous when I went to pick it up.
After I spend half a grand on a package that needs to be signed for, leave me garage door open for you to know I'm home, I at least expect a knock. Nothing. Left the sorry we missed you note when I even woke up early out of my day for you. Then after all that I need to drive myself to the ups store to pick up my own package.

They couldn't take my package which was disappointing and said I had to go to the Holland store. I walked in and the customer and the customer service guy both wore their masks below their nose.
1 star is too much! Dare to complain in person at Cylde Ave and they will threaten you with the police! If given the choice choose any other courier service! Hell, horse and cart or even dog sled couldn't be any slower!
I've never experienced such a slow working employee in my life. They are only open 2 hours and I was there 40 minutes waiting for one parcel to get mailed.
I had an unpleasant experience with a UPS pickup I had scheduled and I’m all about sharing my thoughts if I think they can be used to benefit the company. I called to share these thoughts and I got a call back from Kathy at the Port Huron location. I was so taken back by the way she talked to me, I cannot fathom that someone pays her to represent their company at all. She was defensive, did not listen, and dismissed all of my concerns. It’s unfortunate that Amazon delivers through UPS, otherwise I would discontinue all my service though them if I could just based on that experience. Just horrible.
I constantly have to go get my packages from a house the street over because the names both start with fro and the drivers cannot read well enough apparently to bring my items to the correct address.
Anything I have ever ordered through UPS, has been delayed at least 2 weeks. Could not get in contact with anybody from the company.
If they don't even bother delivering packages to their destinations, why bother staying in business? Apparently the drivers can't read labels and the people in their office cover up for the drivers. Why don't they just close this location? The location is very inconvenient and everyone there are not even doing the bare minimum to keep the business operational.
3 days from Victoria BC to Mount Pearl (Clyde avenue distribution center) NL 7040 kms....... 6 days from Mount pearl to St John's 6kms unbelievable but true!

I want to thank your delivery driver Lorna today who helped me get up after I fell in my driveway. I sat there for 20 minutes before she brought a package. I asked her to help and she didn't hesitate to lift me up and into a chair. I'm thankful.
Paid for expediated shipping, they sent it by ground. No refund, as they said severe weather conditions, sunny from Toronto to Newfoundland, then its Covid's fault. Big businesses screwing everyone and getting away with it. Sickening!

AWFUL SERVICE! Received a "failed delivery attempt" notification 2 days in a row, yet I've been home WAITING for this. Even saw the truck across the street make deliveries and waited for him to come over, but never happened. Notice also said "unable to collect payment" yet I have proof of customs being paid 7 days ago! Now my package will be returned and I'm out $$$$!!! Of course, you can't call, go there or get any help from their store or app. WORSE IN THE BUSINESS!!
The absolute worst customer service. Use FedEx or Purolator, both have great staff locally. I have been trying to receive a package for 4 days now that I owe duties on. I think the guy doesn't want to deal with taking the $. He literally knocks on my door, does not wait even for a second and runs into his truck and takes off. It literally took me 5 seconds to answer the door as I was 3 metres away. Today I chased him yelling after him. He didn't stop. I called HQ to complain and ask them to come back and some lady from the Mount Pearl office called and let me a message in a rude tone saying that they we not going to bother coming back if I never answer the door. Don't use UPS in St. John's. On another note, been accepting packages from FedEx and Purolator all week (big move) and the guys are all lovely!
No doubt the WORST service I’ve seen from any shipping service. The word SERVICE should not be used in the same sentence with UPS. ITS SLOW, UNDEPENDABLE and UNRELIABLE. Very difficult to contact by phone or internet. The claims for lost shipments process is unbelievable. The fact that they delivered my package was delivered to a wrong address was only the start. I think my point is made.
Sometimes have to walk the gauntlet of smokers to get in the building and their hours are whatever they feel like instead of what is on the door

My package has been at the depot for 5 business days now with delayed delivery due to “severe weather” and “natural disaster”, neither of which we are having. Called UPS and they directed me to M Pearl depot and they stated on the phone that the package would be delivered Wednesday, or Thursday at the latest...it’s now the end of the day on Thursday and there’s still no package. Avoid shipping with UPS at all costs. My package is from Amazon and if I had have known it would ship with UPS, I wouldn’t have ordered it. Big thumbs down.

Would not recommend working here. I think they should handle things better in a proffesional matter. They do not stick with there hours they lied about it on the application and there ads. The drivers also get in the way while your still loading packages.
My package was due to be delivered May 19th, as far as I can tell it has been sitting in Mount Pearl since the 19th with this message every day "Your package has been delayed due to events beyond our control. We're adjusting delivery plans as quickly as possible". Yesterdays message said "Delivery will be delayed by one business day". Todays message says package moving to destination, I'm not really sure what that means. Terrible , terrible service.
Had a parcel out for next day delivery. UPS decided not to ship it when needed. No status updates, no delivery times, never using UPS again. Worst currier service I've experienced.

They almost never correctly deliver to basement apartments. Always gets given to the up stairs neighbour or not delivered at all, they never read the instructions.
Item arrived 7 days ago and is sitting in Mt. Pearl with no explanation as to why it’s not being delivered. The shipping time from the US to Mt. Pearl was very reasonable. The journey from Mt. Pearl to St. John’s should not take this long. Have tried phoning - no response! So frustrating!
These guys are clowns , no prob until it got to Newfoundland. Was tracking and they had given me a day which was the same day all week. When it arrived here it the tracking site delayed due to severe weather , did I Mention it was sunny and clear the whole time. I guess they just put that message on there when they are behind. Very frustrating one star from me.

Terribly, terribly slow service. I was supposed to get a package May 11, 2020. It took 3 weeks to get from Mount Pearl to the west end of St. John’s, a 20 minute drive at the most on a good day with traffic. Unreal!
The worst customer service award goes to UPS mount pearl! Avoid these people. Canada post is way better.
This is the Absolute best UPS shipping location within 60 miles or more. I always receive friendly and accommodating service with a smile or a laugh! I visit shipping locations daily as a Notary Signing Agent. I am not always in the area of Port Huron, but when I am I look forward to visiting this location. I will go out of my way.
I am surprised at the complaints in other reviews. I have always had excellent service and friendly staff at this location. They have professional staff and a good company to deal with. I have been using UPS for years for all my shipping needs for my business, Beveled Edge Stained Glass Studio.

Awful! My parcel was stuck at the Mount Pearl dispatch for about a week under the excuse of "severe weather", but the weather was just fine all week! No way of calling the dispatch.
Awful customer service. Staff are not friendly or helpful. They were rude to me and two other customers. Kept referring to a sign abovd him (that didn't exist) saying we needed tracking numbers but the signage referred only to Photo ID, address and the delivery notice. I would never use this service again and actually pay extra to use a different courier.
Not once have I had anything actually delivered by UPS. I always end up chasing down the shipment. Great staff onsite though
In Mt. Pearl they cancelled the delivery day because of sevefe weather, 5mm of rain. I went over to pick it up because I am used to the poor service. Nope not allowed, have to wait for them to deliver. United Princess Service. Based on all the complaints at this location maybe UPS should replace the staff.
we get we're in hard times. we get there is delays. we get you may be under staffed. at least let us pick up an order. I've had a computer part I need sitting there since the 15th. multiple people i talk to have other items sitting there on a shelf. same situation. if you arent going to try to fix it, open your door so we can get our stuff.

Missed a delivery. Called the desk and they asked for my name and address. Asked if I could pick it up in the morning and they said "No problem; they'll hold it!"

I have had a parcel sitting at the Mount Pearl location for a week and every day they refresh the "severe weather" delay excuse and don't deliver the parcel. There has not been any "severe weather" during this time, beyond a little freezing rain and 5cm of snow overnight once. I would even give them a pass for that day but not the other five possible days to deliver the parcel. There is no way to call the local dispatch to speak with a human and find out when you might get your delivery. UPS usually solid with Amazon orders but this delivery from another vendor is an absolute mess and have other UPS parcels in transit.
ordered a package off amazon, package was twice delayed due to severe weather or natural disaster beyond their control. last time in the mt pearl location for 4 days and counting... weather has been pretty good, and i drove to their building, and it was still standing, so im not sure what the problem is. cant get ahold of anyone on the phone or at the business to even pick it up myself. horrible service, and not my first bad experience with ups. would have given 0 stars if i could

I am sure the company doesn't intend to be a con job, but regardless of the intention that is the outcome with UPS. They charge extra for expedited service and then deliver less that standard postal service. My package arrived in Mount Pearl 5 days ago. Still not delivered. They will not allow me to pick it up. They are an absurdity not a courier company.
I was home all day with my cellphone by side all day only to find out I missed my package because "the receiver is not available"?! The delivery guy did not even press my Apt.# (three digits!)at the first floor outside my building! How lazy these people are? Untrustworthy! I am so disappointed.

Terrible. They refuse to deliver to my house and sameday (their secondary courier) refuses to deliver to my house. AND I like in St. John's. It is impossible to talk to anyone locally who knows my situation. And their hours are terrible. Not even worthy of 1 star.
Keep returning my package saying no sign or wrong address .which it's a new sign right on the rd can't miss it .
The fact they receive my package on a Friday and then I have to wait until Tuesday for delivery and i cant even pick it up on a Saturday is every reason why i hate UPS
I have been waiting for a package that arrived at the UPS facility in Mount Pearl for a week now as it has been delayed due to reasons 'beyond their control'. A call to UPS indicated that they didn't know anything, but still promised it would be delivered the next day. I'm still waiting for my package with no end in sight. AVOID AT ALL COST

USE FEDEX. Genuinely the worst customer service experience of my life. I moved to Canada from the US during the pandemic and that process was easier than working with this UPS depot. They've been holding my package hostage for a full month now. I call every single business day and still nothing has happened. I literally get hung up on daily by UPS.
These are the most frustrating people to deal with. Customer service is completely neglected. Packages never arrive on time, and there's no one to talk to or complain to about it. AVOID THIS COMPANY. I would give ZERO stars if i could.

My packages has been in town for over 2 weeks at the local St. John's UPS depot, but is says can not deliver due to bad weather. No ones seems to know why they cannot deliver the packages.
Unfortunately this office has "Kathy" take care of customer service calls. She is always ready to argue and fight. Thank goodness I've only had to speak with her twice over the last 2 yrs! She the wrong person to speak on the phone representing UPS. Her bitter complaints about customer service being in Asia etc doesn't show well for UPS either. Obviously UPS has too many "Kathy's" that why they out source when able. We will try harder to find other delivery options while living in Port Huron.

Worst service I have ever experienced. Waiting for a pkg that I ordered from Amazon.ca on September 2, 2021 that is being shipped UPS. On September 20, 2021 I called UPS customer service 2x looking for my package, as delivery is now been 5 days late. One rep told me the delay was due to mechanical failure at the Mt. Pearl warehouse and said she would get a rep from that warehouse call me within 2 hrs. After 2 hrs and no call, I contacted customer service again. This time a different rep told me that the package hasn't even arrived at the warehouse, even though the UPS tracking website says it has! What a joke of a company!
Kind of sad where I can order a parcel from BC and get it within five days for sure but it takes over two weeks to get parcels from Toronto or New Brunswick and that’s even closer I just don’t get it and this weather thing there is no weather I even look on the forecast and it’s nothing so I’m kind of confused worst service ever never want to use UPS and if you’re not there for the signature they bring it back to the spot to try again the next day and not bring it to your nearest mailbox post office
“In mount pearl, Delayed from events beyond our control” for the past week. When I called (and waited on hold for 45 min.) I was told that the my package is sitting in a trailer they haven’t unloaded and to just wait for the shipping information to update. Avoid ups at all costs.
Went into ups today must fill out form on computer woman behind counter not very helpful I'm 72 yr old woman with no real skills to deal with computer cancelled order walked out.
This has got to be the worst delivery company I ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Every single time we get unlucky enough to have a package come through UPS they fail to deliver. They post that there was an attempt and there never is because we wait all day and no one shows up. Then we have to call and deal with that robot that hangs up until randomly it puts us through to speak with a person. Even their website is terrible. Trying to update an address or log in always ends with errors. Every single time we deal with UPS we have to wait extra days to finally get our packages. Just let me talk to a person right away or put me on hold until one is ready.

My order arrived at the UPS facility in Mount Pearl several days ago and has been sitting there ever since due to reasons "beyond their control". No notification or anything of course, I had to manually check the tracking number to learn this. The delivery address is literally 5mins down the road. Going to have go pick it up myself on Monday I guess. Incompetence in my opinion.

This company should be sued or charged I had a tablet that was suppose to be sent to my address about 2 months from Fido and It never arrived I called fido they told me that the package went missing at UPS then found and damaged how ever some one stole the tablet that I was suppose to get because they used 32 GB of data and ranked my bill up to $500 dollars the the worst part of it is they stole from my son because that was gonna be a gift for him FIDO told me they have never ever delt with a situation like this before I suggest any one that uses this company to not send any money or anything valuable because I would not want the same thing thing happening to another person or don't use this company at all

Absolutely terrible! if I could give these clowns a negative star rating I would, These are package monkeys and nothing else. I had a sensitive shipment for both contents and time, they broke the package in shipping, I went to 2 different locations including the warehouse plus called the customer service line which in my opinion is false advertising cause there is none and no one could tell me where my package was or what happened to it even though online with the tracking number it said it was delivered. They held my package for 5 days while they did an investigation and wouldn't even let me see it. Never use this company for anything.... DHL, Purolator.... even a delivery sloth would be better than these assclowns.
