After about not receiving my item that was delivered to my house by UPS because I was not home it was not taken and dropped off to the UPS store. However their depot computer was snowing it was. The lady looked for it but couldn't find it. After doing a investigation she finally found out it was still on one of the delivery trucks and not dropped off like their computer showed it was. He advised that they their wAS a notary on duty and since I was near by they would stay open passed closing to accommodate me. The staff here are friendly and professional. The scheduled delivery date changed twice. Recently it has now become unavailable. Seeing how the package is in literally the same city, and a 5 minute driveaway. It's infuriating that the package is still not delivered. Edit: Thank you for the reply. It would be helpful if it was more clear on where the packages are sent and delivered from. It is not this store's issue but UPS as a service in general. To anyone else who sees this review, knowing this situation may be helpful.

Recently on two separate occasions we needed some new invoice books, of course as most people do, we left this till we only had 5 Invoices left. In a panic we called Jodie at the UPS Store and she quickly and efficiently got all the information she needed to print the exact same books we have been using before, she even offered to come and drop them off to me where ever I was in the city. This type of customer service is hard to find, and I can say with confidence that the next time I need any new business cards/invoices/marketing materials or practically anything she can help me with I know who to call! You truly are more than the big brown truck!

Don't ship with them. A package for a car seat part was shipped to me when I wasn't home. Did not have any notification at my house. Phoned the UPS Store when I got back (multi day trip). They put it aside for me so it wouldn't get sent back to the supplier. The next day they lost the package. No scan from a driver, just gone. The best they can do is say sorry and tell me to ask the car seat company to reship another part. I don't know how ups stays in business.

Came to send an envelope to a PO Box address in GTA. Thought "standard" would be the cheapest option. The clerk didn't advise me that "Express envelope" would be cheaper. Moreover I've been charged for 17lb package (twice more). A week later I found out that the envelope is not delivered because UPS doesn't deliver to PO Box.Why have you accepted it in the first place? And then I was charged again for return package. $83.52 total for an undelivered envelope that UPS knew they won't deliver! Outrageous!

Great location, kind of hidden. I posted some videos to help make it easier to find. The staff are friendly and quick. If you need to return parcels with pre paid labels, you can just drop off, no need to wait in line. There were only a couple of people ahead of me, so not a long wait. I would recommend this place.

Horrible lazy service!!! 2 orders in a row.... the first time I was in my back yard they pulled up and walked up and put a note on my door and left.... this was Friday June 22nd... the second order I got delivered was the same thing they knocked and left right away didn't ring the door bell or anything... UPS has not shown me that they care about the customer receiving their product... Also if you have a drop location written down on the sheet why would you leave the town before dropping the package off... Makes absolutely no sense to me ... I will probably never order something that uses UPS ever again.... first and second time I have been unsatisfied in every way possible with the delivery and even while I was on the phone with the lady the first time, she wasn't even listening to me.... So I didn't even bother trying to call this time around.

I have had good experiences before with the store. This last one really impressed me. A main branch driver did not knock when they "attempted" to drop off my package. I know because we were sitting beside the door and got the notification as they were pulling away. I went out to see the sticker saying I would have to pick it up at the store. I called the store and they were able to put me through to UPS. They said they would have to deliver it the next day (to a possible missed delivery again) and I wanted them to come the same day since they didn't actually attempt the delivery. UPS had a big stain on their reputation because of this driver. After being on hold forever and told it can't be done in a few different ways, the store called me back and offered to drop the package off on their way home. I was so impressed and grateful. While it was the employee who offered, Jodie, the owner is the one who dropped it off. Very impressed and they saved face for UPS. Thank you.

Remember folks, UPS stores are a franchise and although badged by UPS, these stores are are owned and operated by independent business owners. Big shout out to Dave....the UPS driver. Flexible on his route. He understands the importance of these items and the impact of early delivery. Ive tried every other option for delivery and the hub in Lake country on Jim Bailey doesn't work. Next day packages don't get their till much later the next day....and the hours of operation are strange.

I have had mixed experiences with UPS and this store - one time I was given the wrong package, and now a package that I needed before the holidays was sent back and I didn't receive any slips to pick it up. This seems to happen when I have more than one package coming from the same retailer. I'm very disappointed as I won't get the items I need in time.

My package was sent from this location in Peterborough and arrived in Europe broken. I had insured the delivery, so when it arrived broken, I prepared for a long battle with the insurers. However, the staff at the Peterborough UPS went above and beyond expectations to make sure that I was reimbursed as quickly as possible. They communicated with the UPS team in Europe and arranged everything, keeping me informed every step of the way. Within a few weeks, I had the check in my hand. I can't thank Nat and his wife (I never got her name) enough for their diligence. They never beat around the bush, they remained accurate and courteous throughout the ordeal and in the end turned a painful experience into something positive. I should add that the damage wasn't caused by their packing - it was on the European side that things went pear-shaped .... literally. I would recommend this location and use their service again.

Definitely not going to be using this service again. I went in to send a small action camera to a friend asking for the cheapest possible way to get it to him, and it came out to almost $20! I've never paid that much for shipping on items I've ordered or sent from anywhere. I politely asked the cashier Denise why the price was as much because I saw the pre-order total on the screen on kiosk being different and Denise said, "Since I had to package it for you it was $3.50." That was almost as much as the materials had cost! I politely explained that I wish I would've known that before you did it as I would've packaged it myself to save the money. She rudely replied "Well do you want to unwrap it then re-wrap it yourself you'll still need tape you know?! I didn't even know I had the option to wrap it myself in the first place as she just took the camera and grabbed stuff off the shelf and went to the back to package it, and because of that I don't even know if my camera is actually in the box. I understand people have bad days but being rude to a customer who's merely questioning a price from a place they've never used before doesn't leave a good impression.

TLDR: Package sent back to sender just hours after I called to confirm the package was there and that it would be held for me as I would come later that day to pick up. Employee then tells me to call UPS in the morning only for me to find out the next morning that UPS phone lines are closed on weekends (and that they were aware of that). My package was sent here after UPS attempted to deliver to my home. i never received a notification that a package delivery was attempted and so had no way of knowing my package was already at The UPS Store on Lonsdale and that it was going to soon be returned to sender soon if I didn’t pick up. As soon as I able to found out I called the Lonsdale store’s phone number to confirm if my package was still there and to make sure it they wouldn’t send it back to the sender… When I called the store’s phone number their automated phone menu redirected me to the international UPS customer service. Other than asking why I had called them instead of the The UPS store on Lonsdale where my package was, the person on the phone was helpful. He submitted a request to check on the package and said I would receive a call back shortly regarding the status. That call came in shortly (approximately 1pm), and the employee stated that they had confirmed that the package was physically at the store at that they had notified them then I would be coming by to pick it up. I proceeded to head over to the store once I had finished work. When I I arrived and requested my package the store employee said that the driver had picked it up at 5pm to return to sender. They then recommended that I call UPS in the morning. Fast forward to the next morning - I try and call UPS only to find out that their phone lines are closed on weekends. I then call the UPS Store on Lonsdale to inquire about what to do to. The store employee That answered was the same person who I dealt with the previous evening who had told me to call UPS in the morning… No idea why they told me to call UPS in the morning since on this call they were clearly informed that UPS is not open on weekends, which was apparent when they rudely said “This is a problem between you and UPS. We are a franchise. What do you want me to do? I can’t call them because they are closed on weekends.”

Sunny was great! I had multiple documents to be notarized and then mailed internationally. The process was fast and the docs got to the destination as promised via tracking. The notary prices could be much better though! At $50 per document it’s a lot! Red Seal notary Toronto charges $20 for the first 3 and then goes down after. In my case getting documents notarized every 2 weeks due to a death back home has now become burdensome because the cost adds up fast! But the staff is polite and courteous. I hope this review is taken in a positive manner to help with costs as no negativity is intended here. Thanks for your services!

My package was supposed to arrive at the end of the day and instead I never received any notification of if it had arrived and I tried coming by the store twice with no luck. The next day I wanted to call them to confirm if my package had arrived so that I wouldn't have to walk all way over for nothing, and instead I was put on "hold" without being asked while I could clearly hear a conversation in the background that this lady was having with someone else. Then, when she came back onto the phone she told me to hang up and call back because she had a customer at the counter. I'm very upset about this whole situation, I've been waiting a long time to get my package now. The only reason this review isn't 1-star is because another time I had to get a passport photo taken and the gentleman there was very quick and professional about it. It was a great experience for that.

There is no way you can self print, and if you using their computer to print b/w copy they charge $1, and if you have no cash but debit card, it will coast you $1.23. How come taxes are more expensive in UPS?? Are you guys charging higher for taxes?? As your associate has explained $1 is for the print, which is ridiculous and now i will know to never print anything in UPS, but 23 cents is applicable taxes, how come? For using your electricity on the machine? To the response: First of all you are being rude. I work with print for a long time and know the prices. Have you read my comment properly?? Please read this again. Staples have a self print which coast 14c per sheet, but as "DIGITAL- using their SERVICE" they charge only then $2.25. And pleeeeease do your homework on GST again as BC PST is 7% not 8%. However, even if you round that up it is $1.10 not $1.25. That 10c you mentioned, your associate have not said anything about it. So $1 per printing and with cash, but with a card you charging extra 10c for printing??? That makes no sense.

Haleh, is the worst and horrifying manager I have ever dealt with. Very bad service and management, I was waiting and waiting for her to help me, to get my package sent out. She had a phone call, and while she was on the phone she's rolling her eyes over and over again to the person on the other line. And when I'm done putting the label for my package, I said I'm really not happy with the Service here, when I'm on my way out, I throw some of my trash like a piece of paper in their umbrella bin, she then started yelling and screaming that she won't take my package and wanted me to leave with my package, I said to her, I am going to make a complaint about them and took a video of her being so rude, she then and her mother blocked my way and not let me leave, it was terrifying and scary for me when she started pushing me and hurting me, she violently pushed me too many times and tried grabbing my phone off me.. cause she wanted me to delete the video. I will never delete this video. And when I said I'm going to call the police for not letting me leave, She then tried to twist the story and called the police. I feel like I was being attacked by both of them just because I took a video so if anything happens to me I have it recorded. Haleh is a terrible manager, bad communication and service. Beware everyone. I have the video here for my record. I am going to make a complaint about this branch and Haleh, She is rude and very mean. I will never ever recommend this branch to anyone. I had a prepaid shipping label that I printed off and put on my package. The first time I went in I spoke with a gentleman and he advised me it was too dark of a print and his scanner wouldn't read it. He then proceeded to tell me he could print one out for me at the cost of about $3.00, I declined and went home. The next day I came back with a fresh print out and had lightened up the settings in my printer. He advised me this one was also too dark after trying both of his scanners, again he offered to print one out for a fee. The third time I came in I had a female and she also had trouble scanning it but then without any question or hesitation she simply punched the numbers in from the label and it went though no problem! My question is WHY couldn't the first guy have done this instead of making me waste my time, printer ink, and gas by coming multiple times? Not overly happy, but am appreciate of the lady that helped me in the end. If it wasn't for the helpful lady I would have given 1 or zero stars if I could!

They are okay. The one day they were out for delivery, I got a email stating I wasn't available and to go to the store for pickup. We checked and we saw the UPS driver drive by without stopping and no one approached the house 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after their drive by. Another instance with this store is when I had to pickup a cell phone I purchased from rpgers and they assured me they didn't have the package until I pulled up the email and then started calling UPS and they found it. Other than those issues they have been pleasant to deal with.

They refused to help me with printing because of my unique PDF type, and no one even tried to help me. All employees in that big printing store were just hanging around and talking to each other, like a dating place. The documents I had was very important for me. I like to support local small businesses and sometimes will put up with uncomfortable situations, just to support local small businesses. However, after a recent experience of being yelled at by the owner, who used profanity at me telling me to get out of the store, that crossed the line. Background: I placed an order with a merchant that required a signature, but knowing that I wouldn't be home during UPS' attempted delivery as was the case previously, I asked the merchant to deliver the package directly to the closest UPS store (as I would have done after receiving the ticket at my house and changing the location to a local UPS store). This UPS store received the package and when I went to pick up the package the same day, they refused to provide me my package unless I paid a storage fee of $5. After refusing to pay the fee, the owner called me a f****n prick and told me to get the f*** out of his store. The point was not the $5, but the principle of not informing a buyer of all the fees prior to making a purchase. This store chose to be combative and extremely disrespectful over $5. Long story short, customer service is not this store's forte or priority. I called UPS customer service and they were able to schedule a delivery to my house at no charge and were very apologetic stating this store owner's behavior is not representative of UPS or the rest of their employees. I will never go back to this location or recommend anyone to this store. Stay away, they're unprofessional, combative, and extremely rude!

These UPS Store franchise holders are attentive and knowledgeable, with reasonable rates for high-quality colour printing. I want to say that I was able to log in to my Google Drive account and print off some posters, but truth be told they just did it for me! I logged in, selected the folder to print from, and voila. They printed a proof to show me, then printed beautiful posters on good quality paper, directly from Google Docs. Just remember, it's on you the customer to make sure that you are fully and completely logged out of your Google account when you're done. NB: With all due respect to the owners of the UPS Store on Charlotte Street: If a frustrated delivery customer (like me) wishes to leave a Google review for UPS in Peterborough, this is the only place they can do it. At the time of writing there is no way to select 634 Neal Dr (i.e., UPS Customer Centre) in Google Maps. Until Google approves a request to have 634 Neal Dr added to Maps as UPS (like I did), you should choose one of the delivery or logistics locations in the Greater Toronto Area (like I have done). Let's keep the reviews here about the UPS Store!

Online they say they close at 630pm, i figure they have different hrs for covid so I call and get an automated message stating they close at 5 so I leave work super early to get there before 5, a notice is on the door stating they close at 4pm. So I call and ask them to try and deliver again, so on that day the tracking says its picked up at the location at 1045 am and then at 1108 it says they dropped back off at the store as no one was home, but if they really tried to deliver it would have take 1 hour round trip to deliver to my house. Then mailed them to me in another province within a week and a half! I'd been agonizing over it, back and forth with other people for months! Rep kept told me that the UPS left at the resident, so they don't have it. I opened the case with UPS for the lost package, Two weeks later, I received a notice again . I am sending an express envelope to matane quebec and they had both a physical address and a mailbox address but the postal code the consignee provided was for the mailbox address. The UPS store staff actually caught this and corrected it for me. This shipment is very important and needs to be there in a timely manner and I appreciate their service.

It's a fine store and the employees seem quite knowledgeable and they get the job done! Prices are pretty nuts, but that's just about anywhere with shipping and such. Cheaper than FedEx and Post Office usually at least. UPS does have some great printing deals sometimes though which is great!

Super friendly service. The people there were ready to jump in and help when FedEx wouldn't deliver my international package. Looking at the receipt now, they ended up charging me full price when I asked them if they could apply my AAA discount. So if anyone qualifies for that, make sure you ask them multiple times and check the amount. Other than that, everyone was easy to work with.

The Notary service is too bad and the most expensive charges in the city $75 for the first stamp and she insisted to notarize a copy of the ID as per their policy to charge extra money when it’s not required at all. After they notarized my documents, it wasn’t acceptable because they did it in wrong way with wrong stamp and I had to find another notary and paid again $55 for him to re-notarize the documents again. And to correct other documents mistakes they insist to charge again because the notary comes from outside and can’t come for free which is not clients problem. Not recommend at all if they have zero stars I would choose it

While I found the staff pleasant enough, I wouldn't describe them as particularly "professional." I was dropping off a UPS courier item and, while in the store, noticed a selection of paper / card stock available for single sheet purchase, so I looked through those and bought a few to try in my printer at home, and I also asked about their large format (poster) printing when I noticed they had such a printer - unfortunately, I'm told the printer is out of service with no known repair date - if there will be one - as the printer cannot be repaired in Peterborough and would require the franchisee having to load it in his car and drive it to Toronto.

The people here are nice enough, but they offer a lot of services for the amount of staff available. It can be a long wait to simply pick up a missed delivery. It would be great if they called a second person from the back when there was a line up and they are helping someone on a print service or scanning etc. Having it all as one service just makes it more tempting to choose another shipping service when given the option.

Ups drivers have the power to choose to leave your package on your front doorstep if you don't answer. Their other option is to ship it back to sender at your expence. This is all compounded by the fact that I have been waiting for my "on the truck for delivery" by "end of day" package for more then 72 hours now. This is after paying to expedite the schedule to 1-2 days. Did I mention that "end of day" can be any where from 8am to midnight? Lastly if it isn't there by "end of day" they just extend the time with no word to you except mind your own business. They expect you to wait around all day every day or risk your package being stolen. Complete garbage and a waste of a Canadian licence to operate a business. Finally just received a call. Ups lost my package 2 days ago and didn't want to tell me. Complete garbage. I wish there was a zero stars. I was told by UPS Inquiries to call them for any additional information on my lost package... Either this is false information or their call center people lied to me again as they told me to contact the shipper. I'm seriously starting to wonder if anyone their knows how to do their jobs.

I moved recently to the area and decided to try the local UPS store to mail some packages. I was surprised to find out they ship and pack for you, (where have I been?) so this was a plus for me. Malia (the owner) greeted me with a smile and was so helpful. She made sure to keep the packaging rate down for me, because packing supplies add up fast. At the end she gave me a 10% discount because I'm active duty military. She told me her husband was very passionate about giving military members a discount. I've had a mailbox at this location since 2001 when it was Mailboxes Etc... and I have never gone to another printing place since it became UPS. Casey is the most energetic and courteous young man I deal with weekly. He is absolutely fantastic with logos, graphics, brochures, and always so quick. And they handle big jobs too. If you are small business in St Albert, there is no need to go deal with a big box store where you deal with someone new every time, and there is no personal connection. I've seen menus and brochures fly out of there, and when I get an extra-large package, they have no problem holding it for me. Try them out for sure.

This is the worst service I've gotten in Halifax. I understand that they are trying to keep a business running, but they would do best to stop driving their customers away. My interaction was negative at every stage--they wanted $1 to print a pre-paid shipping label (they do copies for $0.22, but it's apparently different if what you are copying is to send a package...), they did not advise me of the need for a packing invoice, so my package is being returned, and they said I would have to deal with UPS customer service to help any further with this. They openly complain about their namesake, UPS, which is a bad look for a franchisee. The space is weird and cheap feeling, the customer service is combative, and I see no reason to support a franchise when we have so many great copy places in town. If you need something shipped, go with another service, or arrange a pick-up. If you need a copy, go to TPH, Etc. Press, or E-Print It--all places I have had wonderful, caring experiences with. Shipper beware!

Us or Canada they can't get it straight. They wont let me track my package because my numbers dont exist. Didnt understand my local ups reception so no help there. Online and delivery notice conflict say it's being delivered or it's at the access point which one is it? My choice ups wont accept my email... my basic email doesn't allow me to create an account for a package they don't even know the location of. Waste of my time, no one else can receive my package so I stay home waiting.

I am a US Army Veteran. I have been a customer at this UPS Store for years, and most of the time no problems. One time I needed a document notorized and had a clerk there do it for me. When she charged me for the notary I told and showed her the California State Law that prevents Notaries from collecting fees for US Veterans along with my Veteran Identification. She said it doesn't matter and told me if I gave her a problem she would confiscate the documents I had her notorize. I ended up paying her because those were original financial documents.

UPS is a terrible company. They do not put any effort into attempting a delivery and will often just leave one of those "We missed you" papers on your door without ever even knocking. And even if you do manage to get a shipment from them it will probably be damaged (like a computer monitor I ordered online; they destroyed it.) Use any other carrier. UPS is not trustworthy and they don't care about you or your shipments.

Why can't everywhere have employees like these women? Friendly, yet professional and efficient. The staff works well together and makes customers feel comfortable and welcomed. Some places, especially in December, are dreary due to stressed out workers, or simply ill mannered employees who take it out on the customers. I don't return to those places. I will return here though. They were quite accommodating when I called last minute and then dropped by to do a live scan for my job. I was also impressed by the many repeat customers or faces and names remembered by these amazing women as well. FANTASTIC! Thank you!

I feel like this place needs some better ratings because it's a UPS Store it does exactly what you'd expect it to. Knowledgeable staff, it's the only UPS Store in Peterborough and it does what you want it to. Take a few seconds to read online and check out their hours and pricing and you're going to get exactly what you need. No drop-off box is a bit of a bummer but it is what it is in Peterborough. Great service thanks for shipping my packages.

The Ups store is the most awful store Ive ever seen in my life. I went today to get 3 pages of print. For 3 pages they charged me 2.90$ out of which 2.50$ was the charge for using computer. When I made objection that no where they charge for computer one of employer spoke in a careless manner and said we pay high rent on Lonsdale Ave and this is from ups. I asked customer service of ups headquarters and they said this is not true and we won't charge for computer services in ups. The charge of black and white print is just 10-20cent and no place they charge for the use of their computers.

Worst experience ever. The manager is terrible, extremely rude and talks down to customers. I was trying to print a 4 x 3 poster and thry charged 2x what the other UPS charged. The colours we're worng, and streaky and when we went back he refused to give so much as a credit for future projects. I will never go back. Worst $109 ever spent.

Man, I hate UPS so much. Everytime all the time the screw your orders up. I was supposed to recieve my parcel yesterday. I literally sat outside from 12 noon until 6 at night by the front door waiting for this parcel to come. Then I get an email that says... This package is being held for a future delivery date. / The package is being held for a future delivery date. It still says that noon the next day. So I wasted a whole day waiting on this and now it is still not coming. So i'm quite miffed about this. UPS never gives you estimated delivery times either. Could be anywhere from 9am up to 8 or 9 pm. If you miss the delivery which happens more often than not, they only give you one more chance before sending it back the person that shipped it. They never ring doorbells or knock either. Just stick a note on your window and bolt. Which is why you have to literally wait by your door until they come. .... and then they never come !!!

I work in the north end, so I do everything at this UPS now. They’re so friendly and helpful, always smiling. The work they do is really good quality and fast as well. They do more than just send packages, they have helped me with copying and faxing and all sorts of extras. My colleague had a poster printed there and the quality was stunning!! Highly recommend, it’s family run, and they’re so sweet :)

Had a really bad experience with this UPS location. Shipped internationally and had my package refused at the border for poor paper work. When I went to the business to complain that the paperwork wasn't filled out by them correctly they wouldn't admit fault. Very disappointed in their customer service. I want to support a locally owned branch, but I don't plan on going back. Just ship with Canada Post.
