Tiah Workman was recommended to me by my mortgage specialist at TD, and I can understand why she was recommended. First, I was pleasantly surprised by the promptness of the receptionist Amber, who was able to answer all of my questions and very promptly at that (I had e-mailed them), and each time I e-mailed her as well. Tiah was also super fast to reply to all my e-mails, which I really appreciate, as I do not like using the phone (I prefer in-person or e-mail). I also enjoyed the office dog :) I'll definitely be using this office again for my future notary needs. I only wish all businesses were as responsive as this one!

Besides the fact that her services are grossly overpriced, I had to send a perfectly correct document with the correct signature back to SK because Tiah thought that it was processed incorrectly in SK by my signee's lawyer when in fact it was not processed incorrectly. I did not complain to Tiah at the time (a few years ago), but since then I realize that her prices are much too high, and she should not have had me send a perfectly acceptable document back to the SK lawyer to be resigned and re-processed and then sent back to me in BC twice.

Thank you so much to everyone at Pacific Station Notary. I just closed ownership on my very first home. I'M A HOMEOWNER NOW! Me being me, it was not a straight up purchase; I had to go and add renovations to my mortgage because apparently I like making things complex. To top it all off, it's April 2021 - Year two of the Pandemic and crazy shutdowns. Purchasing my very first home during this period was a wild experience full of all kinds of crazy requirements and by the time I got to Tiah and her wonderful team at Pacific Station Notary, I was stressed to the max to say the least. Amber, Morgan, and Tiah were wonderful, calm influences that clearly explained what I needed, did timely follow-ups when I dropped the ball, and met with my husband and I in a well-sanitized office. Tiah took the time to go through all the paperwork, and explained things clearly in a way where my husband and I felt empowered and very clear on each dotted line we signed off on. She also has two adorable dogs in the office who were extremely well behaved and quiet. They're obviously healthy and well-loved which just added to the sense that I was working with the right company for my real estate notary needs! You can't go wrong with people who so obviously love their furbabies, and are loved by them in return! I wouldn't hesitate to 100% recommend Pacific Station Notaries and the team Tiah works with to anyone. I also found her prices to be very fair and well earned. Thank you Tiah; I look forward to doing future business with you again if I ever buy another home.

Sorry for the 1 Star but it was our experience entering your office today. I can not comment on Liah as I never moved beyond our experience with the rude receptionist. Just finished our lunch at Saigon next door and stopped in to set up an appointment for the private sale of our house to be finalized. It was an abrupt grilling we received from the multitasking front desk personal. A couple times I kindly let her know her approach wasn’t appreciated. We left before the process began . Oh well, I’ll be sure remember my Welcome-to-Nanaimo.

I would not recommend using the services of this firm,. I called requesting an appointment for a document witnessing and an electronic signature. I received an email stating that they could not fulfill my request. I called to discuss this, and my call was never returned.Two weeks later, I received an invoice for $71.00 for the services they could not provide. Your office has a communication problem, the facts stated in your reply to my previous post was totally incorrect.

We were recommended to use their services but unfortunately were not happy with the outcome. They messed up some paperwork, and overcharged a lot. They did fix it but then they did not help us with our property taxes which were very close to tax time, resulting in a penalty for us. We were told most notaries explain that and do it during the time. When we were in there, we felt like nothing was explained thoroughly and we were left confused. When we did ask a question, it was not answered really and kind of brushed off. We felt rushed and it was not a positive experience. It also seems like any negative review, they just defend themselves, rather than taking any responsibility. It is an unprofessional company and we will not be recommending them.

They were recommended by our real estate agent. We are from Ontario and purchased a vacation rental property in Parksville. They agreed to take us on short notice around the holiday season and were very efficient and all paperwork was in order. Thanks for making our purchase seamless.

I’ve dealt with Tiah on a few different occasions and she’s always been on time, organized, and super professional. We also enjoy her furry office dogs Cooper and Tucker.

We had a TRULY TERRIBLE experience with Tiah. Be warned that she will intially come across a nice enough person. She will then gouge you. She is neither empathic nor compassionate when it comes to working with seniors, lacking basic human judgment, graciousness, and reason. It was extremely disappointing to experience firrst-hand her cut-throat approach to business and her callousness toward elderly people in the community. We were also extremely disappointed to see her respond to Yelp review in which she mentioned that some of her clients are abusive. This seemed to be a passive-aggressive attack on us and is an example of her true colours. Apparently, her ego is too large to be able to admit when she has made a mistake or erred in judgement. Sometimes, an apology is all it takes, humble acknowledgment of wrongdoing, a sensitive ear. She proved incapable of such gestures. We are the most reasonable people on the planet and treat others with kindness and respect. When we feel we have been treated poorly, we respond (and at the same time, if we experience excellent service or human interaction, we share positive feedback and sincere thanks). We did appraoch Tiah directly before going to online reviews with our concerns about our experience, and her response was indeed callous, insensitive, astonishingly rude, and lacking in kindness and compassion. We vehemently stand behind our poor review and strongly suggest you look elsewhere.
