This company could not answer a simple basic question of how much ins. would cost on a house without me giving them all kinds of information that has absolutely nothing to do home ins. I went to another company and they answered my question within minutes without having to know where I work, my birthday, my credit history, and so on. If I could give 0 out of 5 stars I would have.

Imagine my surprise when I got a letter from this company saying my home insurance is past due and this is my final reminder "there will be no further correspondence or phone calls". That would be great except I never received ANY correspondence or phone calls prior to this "final notice" at all. Not the first negative experience I've had with the company. Moved to Folgizan for the rest of my insurance, think I will be moving my home insurance there too.

I deal with Derek and the gang for our home and auto insurance and never ever regret that choice. Sold one property with Bub as the agent and was floored with his use of technology to make the process feel less confusing. He would explain the document we were signing and then have us each sign it on his tablet.

I am so impressed with Derek and his team at Ottawa Real estate. With how absent good customer service is, he truly goes above and beyond the call. He truly cares about his clients and is honest and upfront with everything. He made me feel right from the beginning at ease, and that I could put my trust in him. He thoroughly explained the process and went through all the documents with me each time there was a change. I really was so grateful that I had someone that cared so much. He was enthusiastic and didn't put any pressure on me to take the first bid on the sale of my place. And with all of his hard work he put in, my place sold the first day it was listed! That is so rare, which goes to show how good Derek is at his profession! Which really bothers me when I see any negative comments on the services provided by Ottawa Real estate. I have a hard time believing these comments. I have nothing but great things to say about the service I was provided and would highly recommend Derek and his team to anyone and everyone.
