Wrong transaction. 2 times registration on the title which was discovered and corrected by another notary when I had a mortgage transfer. That is extra cost for me but think about the quality of the service... Note that the notary service is a professional services but unfortunately this firm choose to segment a professional services to multiple steps. Not only your notary does not remember who the customers are, but neither they will care about their service toward customer. While I was expecting a professional personal service became a process machinary process. I have to note that not all of the notaries in this office are like that. There are good ones and I learned that by having 3+ transactions in this office. However for most of the customer will have 1 or 2 transactions, the chances to encounter a poor one is not low. I would prefer to go to a smaller notary because it is a professional service. Mistakes made by notary on important transactions can cause thousands of dollars loss, not something can be saved by hundreds of dollars saving on the notary service. Be aware of what you buy.
