Hence I called your RCMP Liaison office, and I spoke to Mr. Pawan. I asked him, if I could do it on Saturday morning, since I was getting late and the office closing time was at 5 pm. As others have already mentioned in the reviews, the staff here is rude, unhelpful. We inquired about the quality of the fingerprinting services after seeing a review stating the prints they got here were of poor quality. “What scanner do you use? Do you have quality guarantees? What happens if the prints are rejected by the ministry?” - all reasonable questions a customer might ask, to which the staff replied: “No questions. Pay first and then we’ll tell you. Otherwise stop wasting our time.”

Unfortunately I should say the service that I recieved was not professional at all.. due to my time limitation I called them and explained what I need... once I get there, he asked me for a new requirement and did not accept that he could have say this to me on phone... then the other day I came back and once he wanted to start, I found that he is not doing what is required properly and he was saying that is norm and what you are asking is not norm and he offered me double price for 2sets finger print, finally and fortunately I decided not to do there...what bothers me is about Time and back and forth with no result.. The other day I went to another Finger print and they did all in less than 10 minutes with all requirements...and I paid only for original fee!

I went there with my wife to have her fingerprints taken. First, the opening hours on google is not right (they have to fix it). So, we waited till it opened and then the guy came with no smile at all (maybe he had a bad morning, so not a big deal). The three stars are mainly because of our experience there. He tried to took my wife's fingerprints couple of times, it didn't work out. Then, he told us that my wife's hands are designed in a way that digital fingerprints will be mostly a failure and that we might need to have it taken through ink, pay way more and wait additional weeks or months to be processed. I don't think he was dishonest as there is really no motive for that but rather it was an issue of incompetency. We decided to go to another fingerprinting agency and he was very respectful of our decision; we were done in 5 mins in the other agency with no issues whatsoever and we even confirmed that the fingerprint was properly processed by RCMP. Not a great experience to be honest. Response to Novel Notary's feedback below: I was clear that your opinion was honest and I appreciated it; however, you have to appreciate my experience which wasn't pleasant. Also, you have to acknowledge the fact that we had issues in your agency while it was painless in the other agency which I didn't name (so not sure how would you know that there are clients coming from that agency visiting yours).

Mr. Kumar was really quick, patient and clear with instructions. I had to do a criminal record check for an extended travel visa and finger printing and brought my husband to come do his criminal check and rcmp finger printing as well. It was very smooth and quick for the both of us and Mr. Kumar was very friendly and informative in answering any questions that we had. We also happened to come in when he was helping another family, they were having issues getting their finger prints read just due to the nature of one of the family members fingers (they were excessive sweating/ shape of the fingers were difficult, this can be common due to genetics. Etc.). He had spent over an hour trying to make sure they were able to get satisfactory results. I just wanted to mention this as I read a lot of reviews before coming here that were from very frustrated clients who had hard time in having the machine read their finger prints. It almost deterred me from coming in but I decided to do it based off of a close friends recommendation. It seems like when things are not working out, frustrated clients will tense up and as a result, the finger print read comes out even worse. So a quick tip is just to relax a bit, have faith and listen to the pro. My first finger print scan had failed because I pressed too hard and didn’t lay my fingers flat. Once I listened to Mr. Kumar and did exactly as he instructed, the process was fast and effortless, and he guides you along the way. Would highly recommend his services for background checks/finger printing. He knows what he’s doing!

Edit: I received a call back from someone in higher management and they were very nice and considerate, they explained the entire procedure. My advice to them would be to train their CSR staff on how to handle customer calls. Old post: I called to ask about info related to the finger prints as i have been very confused with the entire process. The staff was immensely rude they said " Listen we dont do any other process here we only do finger prints". I dont think that is the correct way to talk customers. There are much more polite ways to explain.

i went there for my mothers fingerprints. she is 85 years old. there was an elderly man there. he said that fingerprints may not come good, it is better to take 3 sets. i have no issues with that but the man was very impatient and was not polite at all. he spoke very disrespectfully to my mother. he lacked professionalism, was grumbling throughtout. we were very calm but as soon as we got out of the office, first thing my 85 year old mother said to me was this man should not be working at all if he is not happy with his job. when you take money from clients you need to be polite. if the job cannot be done then say it cannot be done but dont take money and then be rude. there are plenty of fingerprinting agencies.

Horrible Service. UNprofessional. Rude. Your application might get rejected very unprofessional. While getting in i heard one of the clients arguing about how her fingerprints were not taken correctly and her application was rejected and she is having to pay AGAIN to have her fingerprints taken. The secretary was not at the desk when i walked in and there was a guy sitting(he is the guy who takes your fingerprints) in a room and the door was open i decided to ask him a quick question and he yelled at me in front of everyone saying "Go sit there and wait!! you are interrupting me!! Even if you feel offended!" so i sat and after waiting for a while i decided to leave since no one was there to answer my questions. Very unprofessional he keeps his office door open while taking your finger prints and reviewing your documents so NO PRIVACY at all. So i went to another place and the guy was very nice and i got it done in less than 15mins.

I was recommended to Novel Notary Public Services by a police friend, and shortly afterwards I went on the RCMP website to check if it was an accredited agency and YES it was certainly on the top list of the Peel Regional police website, I went to Novel Notary website and realized that they offers much more than fingerprinting services which for a student was good to know the place was a one stop shop for all of your legal service especially in the immigration section to which would have captured my attention. I made a phone call asked the Right Questions I got my answers and minutes later I went to the office which was easy to find off of Hurontario street. The service was fast smooth and was also able to get in a few more legal related questions while in the process of getting my finger prints done. I would recommend new comers like myself to go there with any legal or Immigration related plans. So it was a win win for me thanks Novel Notary.
