You will see the feddbacks of people who are consuming the services and products of University of Calgary (Notary Public) in the area of Lake Louise (Canada).
As of day the firm gets a rating of 4.2 out of 5 and this score is based on 127 reviews.
As you can see the average of ratings is positive, and it's based on a very high number of opinions, so we can say that the evaluation is quite reliable. If people have bothered to rate when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to place feddbacks when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Notary Public is classified in the category of University.
Best school that anybody could have experience!
Admissions is abusive, condescending and rude. I withdrew my application. Hopefully your experience is better.
I had an appointment booked went in for my appointment to get there and be told they rescheduled me for earlier in the morning said they had sent me an email there was no email sent when I had asked about why I didn't receive a phone call that they had forgot to take down my number and to top it all off the receptionist was rude what kind of professional office runs this way? Needless to say what a waste of time and I will never be going back there!
Beautiful Campus & lots of opportunity to engage as a student and now as an alumna.
Good experience and the school is well organize and kept clean.
I didn't go to the university, I went to Barburrito. But it's looking really nice. I love the new promenade and all the cool businesses. It's a good look for the U of C. I'll definately be back to get 5 guys????
Despite the all "hype" being advertised, The University of Calgary is only mediocre compared to the other institutions in Canada; The only decent areas of study here are Medicine, Nursing, Business or Engineering. Several departments are quite underfunded, have poor instruction by profs and the curriculum doesn't align itself with the economics of Alberta (You're better off going to SAIT to learn about oil & gas, IT or trades to find a decent job in the province after graduating). Overall, this University has really steered itself in becoming a business rather than an academic institution.
Great university and great atmosphere
Very weird to be on campus on a gorgeous evening with no one there and all the buildings closed. Should be bustling with students getting ready for final exams. Very sad.
I loved the experience of studying here so far, never had an issue regarding admissions, enrollment, fees and examination. They have various streams of degree programs that are available, the staff is friendly and instructors are really good.
It's what you make of it, you'll either love it or hate it. You'll love it if you take the time to talk with your professors and utilize what resources the university has at its disposal. You'll hate it if you don't do any of that and are only here for a piece of expensive paper. Only complaint I have is the university's emphasis on business and engineering over all other faculties, especially arts. Other than that, a good academic experience and atmosphere, and a very nice campus.
It's a great school, with a lot to offer students who are actively seeking whatever it is they are wanting from it. The University experience, like Life is positively proportional to how much you put into it.
Good venue but hard to locate the Dining room. Decent food, excellent service.
good place to study
hhhh cute mascot from university of Calgary book store
It's great
Had a wonderful experince with twinkle patel and she is very friendly. She has done beautiful henna for eid right on time????
It's just aight
The university campus is very nice and modern looking with time and care taken into maintaining the flora of the campus. The outdoor center has a fantastic climbing wall and the cost of rentals for outdoor equipment is very reasonable. My one complaint is that the road network is very poor when trying to navigate the campus and during the winter they are very poorly maintained. Parking here is also very expensive so I would advise against driving here in general
A perfect reservoir of knowledge, with proper resources avaliable. One who knows to use the resources properly can get a lot out of what university has to give
Awesome university with all departments and located in awesome city and surrounding
I enjoyed my time here
Would be a 5, but the contact system is treacherous. I'm on hold for hours and then I get no help!!!
Love it
My son is so happy that he is in University and he is ready to be a doctor next year, I am super proud of him and he is gonna have a wonderful life.
Excellent experience
Big and new campus.
It's a great university from what I have been able to read from their webpage. I have not visited but I have a keen interest to do so.
Difficult to review the entire U of C as a whole. 5 stars just because I love Calgary!
Worst website ever. Extremely difficult to understand
U of C. What nore can one say
Best professors at UofC. awesome uni

Oval excellent as always
My kids do great learning thanks to good staff being very accepting to immigrants, wonderful
Great squash courts!
Wouldn't attend this school. Feels like a beurocratic cash grab. Bye Felicia.
Meh, I could have spent money on better things. Social science degrees dont get you much!
poor dinning center, even more pathetic machall, average campus, average professor, not a great choice, but still the best university in Calgary.
The Outdoor Rental Store was wonderful. Friendly knowledgeable staff who seem to truly enjoy their jobs! Got to see all their stock which was impressive!
I was just doing a small renovation but so quite with no one around with covid going on
I studied here and then started working as an engineer.
Almost everything about the university and place is fantastic. People and faculty are great. However, some programs lack linearity and particular courses still follow older syllabuses. They made irrelevant and generic courses mandatory even …
Amazing school! Finished my first year and the experience was amazing. Profs are great from what I've seen and the other students are extremely friendly. Definitely proud to be a Dino!
Both my brother's went to school here, I've heard great things!
cjsw radio station broadcasts out of the University as well as a whole bunch of other extra curricular clubs and societies and athletics. great music at the rosea center and fun campus layout. if you are looking to go to university in Calgary Alberta you can't loose with u of c or mount royal university they are both surrounded by beutiful foothills with gorgoes mountains to the west and amazing fossil filled badlands to the west and nature but north and south as well. yyc is the place to be!
I only go there for squash. It's been hard finding new player.
If you are not taking engineering or business major, DO NOT go to this university, it's utterly an money scamming facility, you are better off with a 1-2 year certificate you will be 100x happier and making just as much money. Even the tuition for engineering and business is WAY TOO OVERPRICED, better go to Waterloo. It only cares about PROFIT and its REPUTATION, their education system is disastrous, with very few profs that are genuinely good only to be retired soon. I have yet to seen a student that actually chose this university rather than just "settled" with it. In all honesty and with respect, UofC is one of the most useless universities you can go to. Going to this "institution" is the biggest regret of my life and will scar me for the rest of eternity, god bless the poor undergrads.
Truly a mess on all levels. The facilities here are garbage. The parking is garbage. The management is garbage. The UofC is an ugly stain on top of an ugly stain that is Calgary.
Decent for some stem subjects and certain industries (Engineering, Commerce, Nursing). Absolutely horrendous for the Arts. Especially their Visual Fine Arts department. Anyone who graduates from there either goes to Starbucks, therapy or right back to school if male, right into marriage if female. A terrible way to waste 4 years of your life, the governments' money and get filled with leftist, socialist, feminist, victim mentality and hateful nonsense. Not worth the money.
Overrated and overpriced. Look for more many other options out there, there are so many institutions that can offer much better quality
Some admin and advisors are just coasting on thier union jobs and do not seem to care about students
Student Admissions Office staff has always been incredibly patient, kind and knowledgeable each time I call in. The only change I would recommend is the option to have a call back while on hold a bit earlier. It usually seems the automated system only gives this option after you've been on hold for quite some time.
Great place to learn but severely outdated interior, sometimes even damaged or nonfunctional. This is the university every Calgarian should be proud of, and it is heart breaking to be in such despair
Really nice
Great place for everything. Miss every bit of it
Doesn't feel the same. It seems COVID-19 has truly changed how we live ????
Hello.. My name is Baban. I am from iraq . How do I record my name at the University of Calgary??
A great university with lots of awesome professors. Of course there are bad profs and bad admins. It is expected when you have such a large organization. Overall, the Geoscience Department has done a good job in balancing teaching with research. I would recommend this school for anyone.
One of the top canadian universities. As an engineer you can find anything there to make your dream real. The university regulations are not that much complicated to became a barrier.
Did my MBA here. Waste of time.
Good university
Yes was spend some time here

they auto include donations to the university in your tuition, you have to have to say no. This is by far the scummiest way to take 'donations' and is basically robbery if you aren't aware.
Newbie on campus
Have had a couple bad experiences now with the continuing education department. Took a 3 day course in July, the majority of the class walked out on day 3 after the instructor left us with an 'industry veteran' who was really just a consultant with a sales pitch of his own program disguised as course content. Having similar problems now in my current course. Instructor seems disorganized at best, has failed on several occasions to get information to us that he's asked us to review in advance. Nobody is exactly sure what the expectations are for the course. There are of course instructors who are good at what they're doing, unfortunately the bad ones give me the impression the university doesn't have a process in place to ensure instructors are providing a quality learning experience, at least in con't ed.
University of Calgary has a wonderful campus
Staff is ok. Bloodrunes are substandard. But that's more the province's fault anyway. Soon the old ones will eat all the stars so it doesn't even matter but here's 3 of them until then.
need more free or low cost parking
(Translated) Very good university. I want to be part of it (Original) Très bonne université. Je veux en faire partie
Visited the Olympic speed skating oval on the grounds of the University of "Calgary and witnessed practice speed skating group in action. Open to public if one désires to skate on the famous oval!
Amazing place to go to University! Lot's of variety in experiences for many different interests and helps people become the best they can be!
Solid C+ education.
Fantastic experience. The projection is fantastic, and the sound system was really well tuned. Also enjoyed the food and service. Will be back for sure.
Beautiful campus!
Great place to work.
Very nice and relaxed atmosphere. For the amount of students, it doesn't seem to be too crowded.
Poorly run organization. Nothing special about the place.
Nice campus, decently big with lots of stuff going on, really nice comp sci department, however it's fairly expensive in terms of courses and places on campus for food and other stuff but definitely worth checking out
Too much construction going on at the moment. Food places promised to open at a certain hour but closed early.
lots of choices when it comes to food. However the WiFi is poor and only two modern looking buildings.
It's hard to describe how much the university means to me. I've had the best years of my life at this place, found my passion and seemingly secured a great future, and met friends that I would consider family. For prospective university …
Best place to study business in North America. Oil and gas companies provides jobs to the graduates, right out of university. Haskayne School of Business rocks!!!!!!!!!
Excellent
We stayed at the Hotel Alma on site at the campus while attending a conference for work. Its a well maintained and beautiful campus. It is actually quite large and has great food options. The hotel is conveniently located onsite with transit nearby.

The University of Calgary is a public research university located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The University of Calgary started in 1944 as the Calgary branch of the University of Alberta, founded in 1908. The University of Calgary was ranked No. 1 in both Canada and North America.
Tried to book an appointment numerous times so I could talk to a student advisor or just get some more information. Appointments kept getting rescheduled with other people or cancelled. When I would call I would just get transferred over and over again. Figured I should just go to the university to directly talk to someone. At the continuing education building the ladies were very willing to help and very friendly. After I thought I would go to the student success centre where I was basically ignored. I guess they don’t have program guides you can take either? The website is also very disorganized and doesn’t give you most of the information that is needed when considering a program. Gave two stars because the ladies at continuing education were very pleasant but overall the experience I had there was not a good one and I am no longer considering the University of Calgary as a possible option for me.
A lot of the buildings are older but they're constantly renovating and their new buildings are all amazing! Super professional and friendly place. Every prof I've had here and met outside of lectures since graduating has been phenomenal. It's obvious why this place is so respected and reputable
A top class university.
Don’t forget to check the parking lots map before you drive the car there. They will give you a ticket of $60 if you parking over the time limit! No suggestions signs in the parking lot.Best of luck!
Parking is too expensive!
Worked there for 2 years as a postdoc. Nice place to work very flexible. Wide range of salary for sme position, disappointing for some people. Sometimes technician will get salary more than RA. Quality of research depends on professor. Many crapy professor still is in here, as well as many outstanding professor.
come one come all its great here
great place to expand your mind.
Beautiful campus, good road nextwork and easy to move around
A University in Southern Alberta. They offer course selections for most areas of work. Great place to do summer camps! Buildings are old, but they are renovating them at the moment. This is a great atmosphere to learn.
Love this University!
thanks everyone
I was actually at cambridge manor.
Admin is horrible but the profs are great. Nice Campus and awesome city.
A good University to study
Shane Fage works here, not sure what his problem is , I feel unsafe around him.
Friendly people and professors, easy-to--navigate campus, and a wealth of student resources.
I studied here from 2013 to 2018 and it was a consistently good experience. Course selection and professors are very good, but certain profs are significantly better than others for particular courses that offer multiple instructors. Campus …

TERRIBLE UNIVERSITY. Everything is so class restricted that it is impossible to take a class outside of your program. as every other class is "Restricted to this program only". If you want to even ATTEMPT to take a class from outside of your program of choice, you have to declare it as a minor which you must be a UofC for AT LEAST 12 months. If you want a university that INHIBITS broad and diverse learning, this is the university for you. University of Calgary, the university of zero choice.
I like to visit the university. The open area is good to enjoy. You can sit near the pond which is near the Taylor Family Digital Library and enjoy the view of ducks in the pond. The vibe of the university is encouraging student to study and also relax.
As a student at U of C, I have accomplished less learning and gained more stress than I ever have at any other college or university in my academic career. I've never felt more disrespected and more unheard than at this "university". I'm …
I love this place, peaceful education environment.
Good university for the city. Most profs are good. Nice buildings.
Hard to navigate around, but great
Excellent academic institution with a whole plethora od services for a diverse student community.
a place of higher learning if you are interested in research. Excellent sport facilites, standard swimming pool. For me the take away will be the great community spirit and great selections in library resources
I'm really tired
A unique opportunity to visit. this university ????????
Great university!
Well thought out area cute shops, very new area will be great when finished. Lots of condos
Slow or non existent wifi
Good
One of the best research based universities in the world. Have access to lots of facilities including world class gymnasium, Olympic ice skating ring and high end library facilities.
So much variety in the food court
Classes are too big- went to transfer out of the university & was greeted by rude advisors & false information. If you are looking for a decent university in Alberta do not go here!
I WAS SERVING AS A MEMBER OF THE RCMP AND APPLIED TO THE UNIVERSITY. A cute university inside of a cute city. It's a real contemporary university in its architecture but really enjoyable .
Good education you can get!
Standard university with some newer buildings. PARKING IS VERY EXPENSIVE!
Very nice evening MBA program: the students are diverse and really motivated.
Fantastic place for summer camps
Beautiful campus for walking or running
Good people, fun learning.
The University of Calgary was established in 1966, but its roots date back more than half a century earlier to the establishment of the Normal School in Calgary in 1905. The Alberta Normal School was established in Calgary to train primary and secondary school teachers in the new province. The Calgary Normal School was absorbed by the University of Alberta's Faculty of Education in 1945, and operated as a part of its Calgary branch campus, a satellite campus of the University of Alberta. Operating from the west wing of the Provincial Institute of Technology and Art, the Calgary University Committee was formed 1946, in an effort to lobby for separate permanent facilities for the branch campus.
The university is slowly getting busy with students and staff. Looks still the same but still a very much development there. Great place to go for university
I'm a student here. Campus life is nice, but the constructions seem to take forever to finish...
I actually love U of C.
Decent school. Upbeat atmosphere

Great people and professionals, nice campus.
Amazing
Relatively safe, we all wear masks and keep distances in class. Conducive
I graduated from U of C in 2014. This is a very well reputable place to do research in. Lovely and safe city
the Art building is so old and stay on top of the parkade, sad..
Good university.
Thank you for being the university that excepts all students not limiting the ones because of the Vaccinations you’re the best hopefully other universities will fallow your lead.
Decent campus. Nice facilities.
I don't like this university at all. Hard-ass professors who don't care about the students, at least in my department, unfriendly staff who make it look like they are doing a favor to you when you ask them multiple questions, and one of the most expensive tuitions in the country, let alone the campus housing. In order to maintain their "reputation", they basically kick out (or, as they say, "invite to leave" from the program the students who accumulate two B- throughout their whole masters program in Engineering). I find this terrible, because the courses here are very hard and students often have to cope with part time jobs just to stay alive. I really recommend another university to anyone who is thinking about U of C. Absolutely terrible experience.

Applied to computer science MS for fall 21. They did not provide a single email or status update about the rejection. What's the point of application dashboard if it is not working. I have spend 140 cad in applying. I though they would be professional as a Canadian university.
Great University
Today I paid $550 to learn how to read
U of C is extorting me for $140 in general fees for a semester in which I did not even attend school.
I enjoyed my time here
Extremely disappointed in the hiring process; Human Resources kept references on the phone for 15-20 minutes conducting another form of interview... Lost amazing reference contacts for an entry level cleaning position and HR still wanted further contacts etc. Beyond qualified for the job; this was an absurd experience I wish there was a place to file a formal complaint..!
Great place
Despite having some very good professors in the upper years and in the Humanities, this is not a very good academic university. I got my undergrad here in the Sciences and my significant-other attended first year engineering. I'm now a graduate student at the University of Alberta and my significant-other has transferred as an engineering undergraduate. I can tell you that the difference is like night and day! The facilities at U of C are very poor by comparison, the teaching labs are really bad and students are required to shoulder way more of the costs for lab equipment than they are at U of A. The quality of teaching is also HUGELY superior at the University of Alberta. At the University of Calgary, the city's hostility transfers to the professors. Whether the hostility is from terrible traffic congestion or overpopulation, I can't say but the profs in Calgary seemed very "out to get you". After enrolling in the University of Alberta, we were both surprised to find ALL of our profs to be engaging and genuinely concerned about students. I was blown away. My significant other says that his homework assignments are more straight forward, there is more guidance and more available help to answer questions, tests are graded in a more timely fashion and web assignments have more support (you can actually argue a grade when your answer is correct but the program disagrees with your alternate format). All and all, the University of Alberta is just plain better. Better instruction, better facilities, lower overall costs to students, better student housing (like WAY better), the university is even in a better area of town within walking distance of all kinds of services (medical/dentist, groceries, festivals, parks etc.). People are also in general happier in Edmonton, don't ask me why. Quantitatively, my partner's GPA have improved by 1.5 points which is massive. As an undergraduate at the University of Calgary, I didn't know what I was missing and I assumed that the "throw you to the wolves" approach used by the U of C was how all universities were, but I was so wrong. Don't go to school here, it is the exception not the rule. Universities are better than this.
E-PORTFOLIO A bit about me In connection to the specification regarding the activity based development …
I've gotten words of another settlement that needs your help. Here, I'll mark it on your map.

Perfet an great universiy am recomend ations
Like walking around this place,it is vast, some stores open now.
It's a construction site but the food court is open in Mac hall.
The new Sobey's makes a great stop after excellent quiet walks around university area.
Best place in all of Calgary.
Good school and nice sportsplex
Not the place to be ...watch out for the lame staff and stuck up students as well as $$$$$$$$$ for everything also white privileged is all around you. Yeah they may help immigrants but they are really looking down on you I've heard it and seen it. Go else where.
Nice playground in the university district. Could use picnic tables since we went there to eat our hot lunch from save on foods
Good uni. Decent campus. Not to large. Hard to sum up in one review.
Student Admissions Office staff has always been incredibly patient, kind and knowledgeable each time I call in. The only change I would recommend is the option to have a call back while on hold a bit earlier. It usually seems the automated system only gives this option after you've been on hold for quite some time.
It's nice to see the students are back
AKIC is wonderful great front end and medical staff!
Stay away from this place for employment! They say its a great place to work but they put so much stress on you that you go crazy and then they let you go right away so they can avoid paying you!
Great campus with great profs
(Translated) I would like to come and study in this university unfortunately I live in Haiti (Original) J'aimerais venir étudié dans cette université malheureusement je vis en Haïti
A great place to work. Meaningful compensation, benefits and a great pension. Lots of dedicated people that contribute to the success of the University.
It was terrible traffic and nobody knows where they're going in the NW
I know from a business experience, the U of C is well staffed and their marketing team is top notch and great to work with.
Meiosis (from Greek μειώσεις, meiosis, which means lessening) /maɪˈoʊsɪs/ (About this sound listen) is a specialized type of cell division that reduces the chromosome number by half, creating four haploid cells, each genetically distinct from the parent cell that gave rise to them.[1] This process occurs in all sexually reproducing single-celled and multicellular eukaryotes, including animals, plants, and fungi.[2][3][4][5] Errors in meiosis resulting in aneuploidy are the leading known cause of miscarriage and the most frequent genetic cause of developmental disabilities.[6] In meiosis, DNA replication is followed by two rounds of cell division to produce four daughter cells, each with half the number of chromosomes as the original parent cell.[1] The two meiotic divisions are known as Meiosis I and Meiosis II. Before meiosis begins, during S phase of the cell cycle, the DNA of each chromosome is replicated so that it consists of two identical sister chromatids, which remain held together through sister chromatid cohesion. This S-phase can be referred to as "premeiotic S-phase" or "meiotic S-phase". Immediately following DNA replication, meiotic cells enter a prolonged G2-like stage known as meiotic prophase. During this time, homologous chromosomes pair with each other and undergo genetic recombination, a programmed process in which DNA is cut and then repaired, which allows them to exchange some of their genetic information. A subset of recombination events results in crossovers, which create physical links known as chiasmata (singular: chiasma, for the Greek letter Chi (X)) between the homologous chromosomes. In most organisms, these links are essential to direct each pair of homologous chromosomes to segregate away from each other during Meiosis I, resulting in two haploid cells that have half the number of chromosomes as the parent cell. During Meiosis II, the cohesion between sister chromatids is released and they segregate from one another, as during mitosis. In some cases all four of the meiotic products form gametes such as sperm, spores, or pollen. In female animals, three of the four meiotic products are typically eliminated by extrusion into polar bodies, and only one cell develops to produce an ovum. Because the number of chromosomes is halved during meiosis, gametes can fuse (i.e. fertilization) to form a diploid zygote that contains two copies of each chromosome, one from each parent. Thus, alternating cycles of meiosis and fertilization enable sexual reproduction, with successive generations maintaining the same number of chromosomes. For example, diploid human cells contain 23 pairs of chromosomes including 1 pair of sex chromosomes (46 total), half of maternal origin and half of paternal origin. Meiosis produces haploid gametes (ova or sperm) that contain one set of 23 chromosomes. When two gametes (an egg and a sperm) fuse, the resulting zygote is once again diploid, with the mother and father each contributing 23 chromosomes. This same pattern, but not the same number of chromosomes, occurs in all organisms that utilize meiosis.
Best University in Alberta.
5 stars
In General, It is very far below my expectation.
Clean and organize facility. And close to train station. Good school for most calgarians

Nice campus with many amenities: gyms, olímpico oval ice ring, food patio, modern and bright main library ???? to study ???? with quiet areas as well, there are others pharmacy in campus, health and wellness office, dental office , and lots of open outsmdoor spaces to study during the summer months and warm fall days. As a student you will receive support for your research project (at least that's the goal) from your department and from campus services. Is up to the student to succeed but you do get the support you need. I saw a few negative remarks accusing the school of failure but it is post- secondary insitution not a daycare. If students personal and/or health university has plenty of resources to help them go through their trials or guide them to solutions. Resources such as the Dissability Centre (I think they got a new name now) , mental health through the health and wellness centre. I enjoyed my time at this university and in recent years they have added new buildings in campus. Here are a few pictures from my recent visit in campus.
spicy
Nice grounds. Lots of parking if students get there early. Closed for holidays and Covid, possibly.
Excellent
They do not create successful people. They accept successful people and then take credit for it.
A place where education level is really high. Good playground, teachers are really interactive and friendly. If you are looking to join this is great university for you ! …
Great graduate programs in education with world class professors and excellent resources.
U of C has no identiy. Students don't take pride in being a "Dino" and a sense of community is seriously lacking. One area in which improvement is greatly needed are benefits. They make it difficult to opt out but never send emails about the coverage you have as a student. Another downside is places like TFDL are frequented by high schoolers and those at other colleges. The parking authourity here also needs improvement.
Good university
Serene environment
One of the worst universities in North America.
Thoroughly enjoyed studying MSc. Electrical Engineering here. It lasted 3.5 years. The program could take longer than expected as it is totally upto the Professor to decide as to when you are ready for thesis defence.
It is a great place for my family to play Pokemon go!
Great place I hope one day I will get to go hear and play for their hockey team
