As you know, we don't usually bother to write feddbacks when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...

Come into Kingston City Hall and take a look around to grasp a feel and sight of what goes on in our beautiful city. Ask questions. There are always a lot of people bustling around and are willing to help! The architecture is amazing! The artwork of past Prime Ministers, mayors etc interesting history! Landscapes breathtaking! Give Kingston City Hall a try!
Beautiful building !
Beautiful city and a beautiful monument
I love the architecture. It's a beautiful old building. Well worth taking a tour through
Everyone likes to complain about Governments. I can't say anything bad about the city of Kingston. I have had nothing but positive experiences. I wrote the city suggesting they install a trash can in my local park-three days later there was a trash can. I inquired about my tax bill, I had an answer less than 2 hours later. I emailed the city about a bylaw issue, they responded within 4 hours. Even paying an unpleasant parking ticket is easy.
Very efficient to get a bus pass
historical spot in Kingston
Its Beautiful
A wonderful old building. Amazes its architecture and really like it
You should visit this place if you are a visitor to Kingston.

Great downtown area, huge place to carry out your government related work with a nice view of city places. You can find the first rail route, a view of lake Ontario, ferry ride and many touristing places near by with ample shops and restaurants to hang around. A 10/10 must visit place, do explore its night side.
New to Kingston. Went in for a bus pass and to ask about some more about the city. Very nice people. Very knowledgeable about the city. A bit busy but you can get the work done in minutes
Sign of typical old colonial British Government Building
Beautiful building
Man made marvel! Beautiful bhilding situated at the harbourfront. It takes you to the glorious times of Canadian history.
This City is just a joke.. Property Standards does absolutely nothing..

Nice building. Recommended sight for tourists to see. (Hopefully you don't have to behold its beautiful architecture on a trip to pay a parking ticket lol)
Very beautiful ancient building, the municipal government.
Lovely street, with historical buildings

The city of Kingston is an amazing place with some of the oldest infrastructures in Canada. Princesse Street is worth parking your car and walking/exploring the little local stores. Lots of young people. The City Hall looks amazing and well taken care of.
Very fun and clean outdoor atmosphere. I had a chuckle. Ducks. And a vapor.
This building is beautiful, do not miss this spot when visiting Kingston and its Downtown.
Beautiful building and its surrounding area!
Beautiful down by the water and usually something going on.
Pretty efficient place to get bus passes sorted out. Their wifi is shaky though.
Great historical and beautiful city hall
This city is hall has 19th Century British architecture. Initially designed for Canadian parliament building but never used as the parliament.
Did the city hall tour with Eartha, very informative. Love the history behind the building. Also she recommended where to go next.

Amazing town
Kingston is a beautiful city, lots to see and do and very rich in history
Beautiful landmark and downtown area.
Kingston was such a great spot to visit for a few days with lots to see and do. A great downtown area. And fun to visit when the farmers market is on. For all about our trip to Kingston check out the RetiredAndTravelling blog post.
Awesome people!
Fun to wander around this beautiful building.
Downtown Kingston has a very historic feel with all the Victorian buildings. City Hall was originally built to be the House of Parliament for the United Provinces of Canada, the capital was moved to a more secure location, but the building was completed shortly after.
The city hall, though closed for visitors due to Covid, is a piece of antique yet modern history in the heart of Kingston Downtown! It stands beautifully and is visible from afar. The embellishments and lights on Christmas not only add to the spirit of the City but also keep the nights bedazzled! The backside of city-centre is also home to Local sellers on weekends with farm fresh produce and a lot of hand made goods???? At night, you can seldom see the lights dancing while relaxing on the muskoka chairs and listening to local musicians spread magic through their music ❤️ it's a must must visit. Park your car in one of municipal paid parkings and roam around exploring the heart of Kingston!
Excellent service
It is very beautiful ????
A smug and entitled town where decisions are made behind closed doors. A place where innovation comes to die.
A free tour is my kind of tour, of course I left a tip for our tour guide. A self guided tour was restricted to the 1st and 2nd floor, you have to have an escourt to get to the bell tower. Langdon was our guide and was a fine young man and was very informative. He was able to accommodate a quick tour due to our time constraints. This place is a gem and has free wifi for us travelers that have no roaming capability. The area around City Hall is very lively. The day and night time experiences are very different. Parking is on the street and is metered till 6pm.
nice place to go
Check out the free guided tours of City Hall. Famous for many things including where I became a Canadian. Sure there'll be a plaque one day.
Good day
Wheelchair accessible facility with great interior architecture.

Monumental building in Kingston
A cool place to walk by
You get 2 weeks to dispute a parking ticket. Called every day but could not get through to a live person. Sent an email with pictures showing the lack of no parking signs anywhere. Received no response. Went down myself was told it was too late they can't do anything. They make it real easy to pay but if you try to dispute good luck.
Nice place to take break and walk around
Thank you so much Kingston City Hall for adding extra handicap parking for the snow much fun event. It means that people who are handicapped AR actually able to take part. I hope that this is something you will continue to do in the future. Again thank you very much.
A wonderful building, full of old time charm.
Beautiful old 19th century building which was originally designed as Canada's first Parliament building ,as Kingston was Canada's first Capital City! The capital was moved to Ottawa during the War of 1812 ,by Queen Victoria . Thus the building was never used as a Parliament. It is now Kingston's City Hall. The Countil Chamber is beautiful & has a stunning chandelier! The Memorial Hall has many historical paintings . It's well worth taking a tour . Note...Public washrooms, in the basement.
I went here to get my transit pass and the lady was so very helpful. The city hall is easy to locate and has a number of services available. The place is kept very neat and organized, staff know their job and things get done fast
Very friendly volunteer gave us a tour and history about Kingston. The building itself tells you a lot about the history.
Nice place. Reminds me of the downtown of Montreal. Very friendly and nice place for walking and sight seeing.

Downtown Kingston is underrated. It's gorgeous. Try to come when there's a festival or market

Nice building. The town is small but yet with historic buildings. If you like to see old buildings you will like here.
A very beautiful landmark of Kingston
Nice building and beautiful city.
Gone in for parking passes and transit passes. Always get through quick and staff are friendly and helpful.
