Had him from Dec 2018 to July 2020. Was helpful until covid. Would not answer the phone and then would not return emails or voicemails. We finally got to have our case conference on June 25 2020, July 7 2020 he had me come in and sign a notice to act in person. I was given many explanations as to what that was and why I was signing it, including that I couldn't be reached so he had to drop my file!!! Completely false. They told me signing this would release him so I could get a new lawyer quickly... Tried applying for a new legal aid lawyer and they have now rejected me twice because he told them I was being uncooperative even thought I have done nothing but cooperate and follow the interm order given by the judge. Does not communicate properly! Does not pass on vital information to the other parties when needed. Does not return calls or voicemails. Was perfectly fine with preparation until we were finally getting somewhere! Do not recommend him. He gave me hope then left me in a very bad situation.

Do not go to Manu Batish. He promised to deliver our real estate documents in two weeks but took more than 5 months. He was not responding to my calls or messages. When he finally answers the call, he would ask for the address and promise that he will look into it and again leave you in the dark. He did this multiple times. In the end when he finally gets our document together, he blames his assistant for not giving a call back. He needs to get his act together. If you want a peaceful and stress free process, find a different lawyer.

Company could definitely improve in their speed times of communication . Last time I reviewed this page I thought it would be positive but now I am still waiting for my final court documents to be mailed and or picked up. Communication takes forever and if you don’t follow up with them then you don’t hear from them at all and I think that is unprofessional. I’ve been with them since approx December 2018 and it’s March 30th, 2021 and the process took 3 years for my stuff and even now as of March I am still waiting for my final papers to be picked up. Not a single call or an update. No voicemail nothing! Update as of March 31st; Manu himself expressed his concern to me disrespectfully because my review is hurting his business and let me know that my review was. No apologies NOTHING! He was more worried the review than my concerns. Couldn’t believe what I experienced via phone call today! Beware if you leave a bad review he will MOST DEFINITELY belittle you on the phone!

First of all not only is it MUCH better than going downtown and struggling to find parking for the meetings, or trying to find where the firm was located in a large tower, but I always recieved alot more attention to my file. It was always so easy to drop by their office when I needed to. If I had to leave a message when I called, I always got a phone call back. Very responsive to email as well.
