Does not follow up when he says he will and does this repeatedly. Does not explain delay in preparing will and then when he finally says he won't do the will weeks later after initial contact his excuse is that he does not know the person needing a new will prepared and is not willing to meet face to face due to covid-19...even though his initial contact said he would have no problem handling everything over the phone and then just having her come in one time to sign the documents. Even the Law Society of Ontario provides guidelines for lawyers on the preparation of wills in the context of covid-19. None of the accepted options were offered to us eg virtual consultation. Unprofessional due to lack of response over weeks.
