I would not recommend for first time home buyers. We bought out first house in April and we were told we would get mailed a copy of the property tax bill by Magalie. Fast forward to September and we get a bill saying we're in arrears and the city does not send out a copy of the property tax bill to the new owners because it should have been provided when the ownership transferred over. Emailed Magalie asking why we never recieved a copy and she said provided one and said the city should have too. I'm irritated she provided it so quickly when asked but did it provide it in April when we signed all the paperwork

I would like to highly recommend the notary office Etude Legale du Vieux Aylmer to anyone interested in obtaining fast, professional, courteous and friendly service for any of their notary work. Specifically, let me commend Magalie, Stefanie and Sylvie on accepting my rush real estate job and performing the work well before the stressful deadline arrived - a task too daunting for her fellow notaries around town (about 20 of whom I spent a whole day phoning with none willing to accept my work). In the end, Magalie got my job done 2.5 business days before the deadline. Also, a special thanks to fellow notary Stefanie, who did a review of authenticated documents (it was comforting to know that fellow notaries in the office were willing to help if needed) and admin Sylvie for being the one to get me through the door (she was the only one in town willing to accept my prepped legal documents for review - which Magalie did - prior to ascertaining whether to accept or reject my job).
