I hate to rain on your previous reviews parade, but our experience was the opposite. Being new to Victoria we arrived at the office with papers that were an attachment on a email and these papers needed a witness for our signature only. So we sat down to email the info to the receptionist so she could print the documents, we would then sign and she would witness. We left humiliated and shocked at our treatment. We are seniors and needed a little patience. instead we were told they don't do that and we should go to a lawyer. A lawyer"s signature is roughly $700-800. Next day we found a notary close to our home who witnessed the two documents and charged $50. Notaries on Douglas made it seem like a big deal and made us feel stupid. We were welcomed in Saanichton and will do all transactions there from now on.
