The ice machine was broken, but their paninis and burrito bowls are really tasty. Table service is a little slow, but the waiter was very hospitable. Ask for the pomegranate lemonade!

The campus is extraordinary with unparalleled class sizes and unique degree opportunities. It was such an amazing tour and information session even with the difficulties of the pandemic. Great Christian Baptist school that has a warm family feel about it. I did not attend Samford but my daughter does along with my mom, both brothers, uncle, sister-in-law and niece. The professors take a genuine interest in the lives of their students. I am so pleased with the level of education and the wonderful memories my daughter is making at Samford.

Terrible experience. Campus police is racist towards minorities. Since when can police ask you for IDs while walking on campus and detain you? Administration turns blind eye to these practices. I would not recommend anyone with a common sense to go here.

Samford is the best place to be! I'm so thankful for the opportunities to grow academically, socially and spiritually. The campus is so pretty. There are many events on and off campus for students. There is always something to do. Things that need to be improved are the cafeteria food and the residents halls. For example: I live in the theta alpha house on campus, also called Treadway Manor. The ceiling is caving in from water damage, residence life has known about this for about two months now, not much has been done.

The bathroom was clean but the toilet paper dispenser was over stuffed! You’d think this would be a good thing because you don’t have to worry about running low on the good stuff in emergency situations, but I could barely pull a single sheet off at a time! It kept breaking off! And let me tell you - it was a BIG clean task. So the constant tearing off of TP was pretty taxing. Samford has the funds to do better! Clean and sanitary stalls though. Soap could smell better.

AVOID. People's mindset here are still in the 50s. The near-by UAB charge you half as much for tuition yet have way better infrastructures and have more tolerance. ZERO diversity here and I'm not talking about race, everyone here is a drone that think alike.

The best University in Alabama by far! Quality education in every area of the University. Great people and great events. If you are an alum and you are not participating in homecoming, shame on you. I've taken my kids to HC the last 2 years and they love it. You have to hit at least 1 football game a year with your kids, and bring your cardboard! If you don't know what I'm talking about, just trust me. It's a must! Go Dawgs!!!

Some teachers are super nice here, but the administration sucks, if you lucky they will respond to you after a month, otherwise don't even expect a response. and it will take them another month to give you a simple answer. The president is just a figurehead who doesn't even do anything. He doesn't even support formation of a group that foster the discussion of LGBT rights. This ain't the 1950s old man.
