I work for a law firm in Little Rock, AR. We were recently retained to represent a client and needed process service in the Fayetteville, NC area...so I turned to Google. I ultimately chose New Beginnings due to the positive ratings of a few others that had used this company and I was not disappointed! I sent the request for service on Friday, and by Monday morning, New Beginnings contacted me to let me know that service was complete and promptly forwarded the Affidavit of Service to me via email with a message that I would receive the original in the mail within a few days. This gentleman is such an awesome individual and most importantly, gets his man! I have used and wasted unnecessary money on other Process Servers and didn't get the results I did with Gary. Not to mention in the timeline that he did. Despite the distance he had to travel to attemt to serve the contempt papers on my ex-husband, as well as multiple failed attempts by others he still continued to ensure me not to worry and he was working on it. He reached out to some of his contacts within the law enforcement agencies as well. He used a vary of resources to assure he was heading in the right direction. Eventhough there were a few bumps that he came across that hindered him from serving the opposing party he did not stop. Very determined and persistent. However, because of his determination and persistence, in addition, to being clever he was able to serve my ex-husband. I was so excited when I received the call from Gary on that Saturday morning around 9am to tell me that he was able to find and serve the other party in my case. During the entire process Gary kept me very well informed with the status of my case through both email and phone. The communication was always pleasant and professional. Not only was Gary professional he gave me some sound advice on a personal level. Very encouraging and a man of strong faith. This was strictly business but felt more like a friendship. Sometimes strangers have your best interest at heart than those supposedly are close to you. I give him the utmost respect and I am very grateful I chose him. Very well worth the price. And very reasonable for all he did considering the other process servers I hired. He truly went above and beyond the call of duty. I will definitely be doing business with him again if needed.

I needed documents to be served on a military base. Gary Smith (process server) asked me what I needed. He stated he would update me via email during the day as he was serving the person I wanted served. He never sent me a email ( updating me like he stated he would) and when I called the following day he said he was busy and wold call me back. He never called me back so I called him back. He then said "The person you are serving cannot be served for at least 1 1/2 weeks. Plus I can not wait around for her time is money I had other jobs to do." He went on to say that I did not explain all the things to him about all the history that had transpired with the person and I that was being served (most people getting served are hiding and that is the whole point of not using FedEx, USPS overnight, etc). She had been using the military to hide from being served. I asked "What do you need to know?" Gary Smith then said "I can refund your money". I agreed to that. It was a total waste of my time interacting with Gary Smith. Anything that is of difficulty serving a person do not go to New Beginnings. I actually had the Sheriff serve which is only 50.00 compared to New Beginnings fee of 125.00. Sheriff Department efficient and no non sense when serving documents. Addendum: This Gary Smith is a dishonest person. My fiancé never said anything like that to Gary Smith as he states. I am a physician and have no need to lie about something about something minor like a process server. When I talked to Gary Smith he stated "You did not tell me all the things that were going on." I responded with "What did you need to know?" To a person with average or even below average intelligence knows that when it gets to the point of serving someone they are hiding or skirting their obligations. Gary Smith also told me "I can not wait all day at Fort Bragg. Time is money". If he is so busy that he can not do a job then just tell me. When I had the sheriff perform the service there was not issue what so ever. The mere fact that Gary Smith says "Refer to my 22 4/5 star reviews has nothing at all to do with what happened in my case. It is obvious Gary Smith is use to straight forward cases that really a monkey can perform. So his response even reinforces my opinion never to go to this service company. He acts like refunding me my money is a privilege when he did not render services paid for. So the fact he brings up he refunded the money is what ANY business should do when the service is not performed tells me the depth of his mindset.
