I had an excellent experience at Fingerprinting US Photo. I only had to wait 2 minutes to begin the process, but I was acknowledged and greeted with enthusiasm and professionalism. Having had a background check years ago for my work, I had a negative experience and I was uncertain what to expect in terms of duration, professionalism, and friendliness. They exceeded my expectations and after the 10 minute process was completed, I waited to speak to the owner/manager, in order to tell him how his employees were kind, respectful, and professional. After informing him of my excellent experience, his positive demeanor clearly set the tone for his employees. I will definitely go back and plan on telling my friends and colleagues about the spectacular experience I had at Fingerprinting US Photo.

THIS PLACE ROCKS. I needed passport photos, fingerprinting, and notarized documents for 10 state medical licenses and this was a one stop shop for EVERYTHING in under an hour. They do digital fingerprinting so you only need to actually get printed once and they can provide you with as many copies as you need of outstanding quality and convenience. Super friendly and efficient. Can’t recommend highly enough!

I was not impressed by the service I received here to get my fingerprints done. While in the middle of fingerprinting me, a staff member was answering the phone and talking on it as he is trying to take my fingerprints. He smudged several prints so that they were unusable and did not offer to redo until I asked. I hope my future employer is able to actually use the print cards I got done here. Pretty disappointed to have such terrible service.

Could have given lesser than this of possible. After the reviews I saw, I went to the place to get my passport photos done. The staff and services provided were really phenomenal. However, Mr. Shah who is the owner came down to staff and starts abusing incessantly even though the staff were doing everything right. Also, it is highly expensive. Chages you $37.5 just for 6 passport size photos. IF THE OWNER READS THIS... PLEASE STOP ABUSING SO BAD AT YOUR STAFF. BE A HUMAN, fatass.

Came for a fingerprint card. Requested it be redone due to blue ink by the employee and prints overlapping. (California Nursing Board was very specific neither would be accepted.) The employee then smudged/dragged my print. When I asked if smudged prints would be accepted, he stated "you just don't have good prints". I felt the drag.

This place is a bit hard to find, even after you find the building entrance hidden behind all the scaffolding, and if you go in the winter time be prepared for the excessively over-heated space. It's very small, and it's not unlike a game of Twister to get from the passport photo area to the fingerprinting area, but, that said, they do what you need them to do. If you're going on a lunch break, be prepared for a line - which has been 50/50 in the 2 times I've been there - and possibly a delay. One time I went - no line, fairly quick service, the second time there was a line, it was 95° in the building, and the service was slowed - just due to the number of people there. Of course, as in all passport photos, I look like a disgruntled frog - but that's not their fault.

I went to get my fingerprints rolled and was told that it would be $9. When I produced paperwork that was required to be filled out by state police I was being printed for I was informed it would be an additional fee of $10. When questionin why the additional fee was told it was for verification. The manager then proceed to argue with me when I informed him that this was not listed on his website and was not told to me when I called. Never did I tell him to lower his voice. He then started to inform me of prices other places charge and how I was lucky and they would service me. Also told me he would not lower my voice. All I did was inform him his website was inaccurate and thay it need to be updated; I did so in a calm, polite manner to only be spoken down to and for him to keep ranting about the subject. His sale associate stepped in and told him to knock it off. I will gladly take my business else where next time I need anything this business offers; I will pay more for my needs to be treated in a respectable way.

5 Star Service ***** Mr Shah and his office are truly as good as the reviews state he is. He is absolutely professional, friendly, dedicated, and committed to customer service. He pays attention to the details! I’m from out of state, new the process, and came in with a fairly sticky situation (had to redo my finger prints for the FBI). From the moment I walked in, he greeted me warmly and graciously, and patiently explained the whole process. He even took the extra steps to confirm that everything was correctly done. His staff was great. Very patient and professional. Whereas others would have just done the minimal steps, he went out of his way and took the extra steps to confirm with the state boards that everything was in place. Such attention to detail! Truly Awesome. Also he made laugh and feel at home. I walked away smiling from the encounter. If you want great customer service, then Mr Shah and his fingerprinting office is the place to go!

Acted like they knew what I needed, but they did not. I told them I needed a Fingerprint based background check. I also alluded to the fact that the results needed to be sent to the BAR association I was applying to. They proceeded to give me a paper ink roll card. Not what I needed. They were so sure they knew what I needed. they were wrong. I needed to have them send the fingerprints to the IL State Police, not me.

When I questioned them re Dutch passport photos they got annoyed and stated they do them all the time. The free hand shooting at an angle and lack of concern over dimensions should have been a dead give away. all photos rejected/do not meet the requirements. Avoid these guys.

Staff are wonderful, but the owner is a bit much. He arrives late with no apology and his own staff is waiting to open for him, but cannot do so unless he is there. Got there at 7:45, they are suppose to open at 8:00, and he shows up at 8:10. He also talks down to staff and tells them what they know already, and he does not listen well from what I observe. They are quick and get the job (ID photos and prints) done right the first time. Pay by cash saves you a little money.

I am so thankful to A Fingerprinting & US Photo for lowering my stress levels! I needed fingerprints to renew my appraiser’s license and for weeks I put it off, dreading having to go to a government office full of people who did not want to deal with me. I couldn’t even get the sheriff’s office to return my call or e-mail to find out if they even did fingerprinting. Luckily, I found A Fingerprinting through Google Maps. They treated me like a customer in a high-end retail store as opposed to someone who was intruding on their time. At a government office I’m sure there would have been some difficulty in locating the department which performs fingerprinting, due to the large number of services handled by the office. Further, there would probably be a long waiting line after I had found the right department. Fingerprinting and official photos are specialties at A Fingerprinting & US Photo. This means they can answer numerous questions and even provide a sample fingerprinting form with instructions on how to complete the form! I was in and out in about ten minutes. The owner and staff were incredibly courteous, friendly, and professional. I find it hard to believe that anyone there ever yelled at a customer as one reviewer says. Improperly took my livescan fingerprints and I'm out the cost. Go elsewhere. Edit: Went back to resubmit my fingerprints. The employee running payments was incredibly rude to me and other customers. She blamed customers for her attitude. Ryan on the other hand was very helpful. They refused to allow me to use the fingerprinting machine and mandated I use ink regardless of my request. I did pay again for resubmission. Line was equally disorderly as previous visit last week.

While a bit chaotic, there was a distinct organization and efficiency to this place and I was taken care of very well. I got everything I needed and even received some extra attention from the wonderful owner, Shah. I went here for my FBI Fingerprints last month and everything went smoothly. At that point, I realized they take pictures as well. So, I walked in today for a Canadian PP picture. Their credit card machine was broke so i had to walk 3 blocks down for drawing cash, which was totally fine. I returned with the cash and the owner of this place was at the counter. He was yelling at his employees, and was very disrespectful towards them and the customers. One of the workers was taking my picture and when she was putting the camera down on the table, he started yelling at her that she needs to put it down slowly and that he cannot lose his camera over 1 customer [pointing at me]. He started talking about the NY attack to the customers, how Muslims should not be let into the country, and how deeply he supports Trump. This made everyone in the area so uncomfortable! Politics is a good talk, but not with strangers or customers. The workers are very friendly but this man! Oh gosh! I was so relieved to walk out of this place. The services are more expensive than Walgreens/CVS. Never going back again!

Writing my review to help everyone out who would use them. They are a nice place for the services they offer. We went for fingerprinting, very easy and almost no waiting. Good experience. What I didnt like is that the person sold me 2 finger printing forms at $13 each, that was $26 per person making it around $52 for me and my wife. The extra set is not required, but they are selling it just in case. I would not have got the 2nd copy but it wasn't made clear at the beginning. So just warning and educating everyone who go for fingerprinting here, if you want 2 copies thats great, but its absolutely not required.

This place is a little shop inside a building. After entering the building, make a left and it will be right around the corner. I arrived at about 8:30am and there was no wait. The first person that helped me was polite and provided me with a clipboard to fill out my form. The second person that helped me was not as nice. I found her to be somewhat rude. Horrible place! Very rude two girls that helped out today June 17, 2019. There were only 3 people when I got there this morning! They were going crazy trying to decide who did fingerprints and who did photos. "I don't care, I'll do whatever" When I was taking the passport photo, the girl kept yelling at me. I needed TWO passport photos one for me and one for my wife. So I paid. During the photo she kept yelling at me "CHIN DOWN SIR!! CHIN DOWN" - got through it. I asked, should I bring my wife in now? She yelled at me and said "let me tell you how this works! You said you needed two photos and that's what I got you, if you want your wife too, it will be an extra $14 something. Just go out there and wait for me to go give you your photos and bring her in." I waited. The line started to get longer. After 20 minutes, she came out and gave me my photos and took another customer. Word of advice: FOR PASSPORT PHOTOS: THERE IS A UPS STORE RIGHT NEXT DOOR. GO OUT OF THIS PLACE AND TURN RIGHT. MUCH MORE FRIENDLY PERSON AND ORGANIZED SERVICE.

I had a great experience here! Went for my FOID/conceal carry fingerprinting, and digital photos. Other folks in line seemed to be there for all kindsa reasons- medical license eg. They processed me really quickly, in and out in under 15 mins, and I even found parking out front at a meter. $72 for both ($2 CC fee, rest for the state prints plus digital image uploaded to my email). Got my TCN number immediately to complete my FOID app. Highly recommend.

I went at 2:00pm on the dot and had no wait time. I needed two sets of fingerprints which ended up costing about $26 for my particular case (prices are different depending on what you need them for so check their website or call so you aren’t blindsided). They were quick and professional. From the paperwork, payment, to printing, I was out in under 15 minutes. Only recommendation I have for them is to provide alcohol pads to wipe down your hands before the printing for days that it’s 94 degrees outside and you’re sweaty or if you’re wearing lotion.
