I would give this place a zero if I could. I have never had such a horrible and disorganized experience with an organization as I did with Ana Pac's office. I called months ahead to book an appointment and received confirmation by the staff that I had my "reservation." I traveled from Toronto to Montreal for my appointment on this date, and called the office ahead of time to inform them that I will be on time, only to be told my the staff that I do not have an appointment and cannot meet with the notary today. When I explained that I had received confirmation of my time slot, I was told rudely and without consideration for the time and money spent to travel, that a "reservation" is not the same thing as a "booking" ... which is ridiculous. No one had followed up with me to inform that they had cancelled my reservation for whatever reason, or anything. They also did not accommodate another appointment or provide any apology... and then I returned to Toronto without having met a notary as planned well in advance. Luckily I have a new notary and hope to never come across such unprofessional people again.

I was extremely disappointed with the service. As a seller, my buyer chose this Notary as she closed the sale of her home there. While they quickly processed our sale within the requested time frame, they were extremely disorganized. Several handlers took care of my file and could not figure out which documents were missing. One person would say one thing and then later contradict themselves. On top of that, the fees were not organized into a single e-mail in advance, until I asked up front what all the associated fees would be. I asked for the statement of adjustment in advance of the call so that I could decide whether to proceed -they gave it to me in French despite my very obvious Anglo-phone background. I asked for it to be translated (they didn't charge me thankfully). When the notary did arrive to our meeting, she was 10 minutes late. I understand people are busy, but at least send a note when you have people closing something as important as the sale of their home. She was professional and calm, with a great demeanor, but that doesn't make up for the horrible front end organization and bad paperwork. They're in the business of being organized and simply were not.
