I prefer to share stories of positive experiences rather than what I am going to comment below. I was honestly bamboozled by the "reviews" left by others on this platform. I really do not see any redeeming qualities to this business other than that it was within walking distance from my home.
I can't comment too much on the level of professionalism with this firm, but I will say that everyone here is disinterested in you and whatever questions and reasonable requests you may communicate to them. The most unforgiving part of my experience is how they do everything to make things easier for them (at the cost of inconveniencing the clients). They try to get you to send things in earlier (than most other firms) because they want to hold on to your business. They get you to sign your part of the paperwork earlier (than most other firms) because they can't bother to contact or communicate with you within a reasonable time frame. As soon as they have you in their grasps, you are told that you "must" do everything they say since this is how things are. To put it simply, they don't like to be questioned. They will never have the decency to at least think about their clients and their schedule/best interests.
Everything was pushed until the last minute and only managed to be done, because I had to constantly sneak time from work to ask them to hurry and at least meet the deadline. They placed the blame on the other party's notary, but it was also their responsibility to communicate with them about a timeline. Why are they asking their clients to make the phone calls, when it is their responsibility to do everything they could to ensure that the deadlines are meant? I find myself questioning why I am paying them to make my life more hectic? Their prices are on par with their neighboring competitors; it is not like I went with them to save a few bucks!
Please avoid this place, especially if you are looking for a place to do the paperwork after you sell your home.
