I called today to request a service call and I was asked for my postal code. Then I was told that they don't service my area. John the Plumber is based in Brockville and I'm in Maitland which is 8 km away. That's an 8 minute drive ????‍♀️ I asked why? She said we have a 6 week waiting list in Brockville. Ok but why don't you service Maitland? No good reason just that they don't service our area. Needless to say you should really make it clear on your website what areas you service and ones you don't. To me this is illogical as I see John the Plumber vans driving on the 416 going who knows where but it's definitely more than the 8 km distance it takes to get to Maitland!

Booked the plumber service twice. The first one, the plumber called to postpone the service to another day, I had to call another company. The 2nd time, the plumber did not show without a notice. I called the company, then the plumber show'd at 6pm (booked 1-4pm). He asked to charge $189 to open the wet drywall for investigation (besides the $40 checking fee). Then he did nothing and left. What kind of a nightmare.

Fast service and David was great! Made sure the repair was done quickly and tested thoroughly! Would recommend. A little pricey, but better than filing an insurance claim!

He was able to diagnose my problems and solve them quickly, and at an extremely reasonable cost.
