I had made an appointment and needed to notarize my IDs for an application. They mentioned it was $40 and that seemed like a fair price at first. I found out later when I was at the appointment that it was $40 for the first ID and $20 for any subsequent IDs. This was not mentioned to me in the email before as I required two IDs. Although I felt like it was an unreasonable price, I didn’t have much choice. I later found out that it is possible to scan two IDs onto one page and notarize that way and only be charged $40. Very disappointed that I came here and was ripped off on the prices. You can get notarized documents for less than $30 at other places! Go somewhere else!

We required a notary on fairly short notice, Wynne was able to accommodate us and we had excellent communication from her office from the beginning. She is very knowledgeable, so much so that she was insistent that the bank was in error in the way our mortgage terms were being presented. She made everything happen, and then was able to correct the error and actually returned almost a thousand dollars to us! This was totally unexpected and only happened because of her due diligence and honesty. I could not be happier with her service and would have no hesitation in recommending her highly to anyone. Very professional and from what research I did her fees are very reasonable. Excellent.

I was in the process of working with Wynne Fong when I found out that they are not able to work with leasehold properties. They told me this last minute prompting me to find a new lawyer with a really tight timeline. This should have been stated while I was on the phone speaking with her assistants ahead of the completion date of my condo and even while I was emailing Wynne Fong. This is unacceptable. I will not give any star ratings. Because of this process, it has been very stressful.

I've dealt with various lawyers and notaries in the past but I've never come across any notary that is as patient and as detailed oriented as Wynne. I've witnessed how great she was in explaining details to seniors in a professional, unhurried manner. She didn't show a single sign of annoyance or frustration in the whole process. My husband went there to inquire some information about having my parents marriage license court certified, so I went there after gathering all information. First of all, they didn't greet at all, just sat there with their phones and computers. Second, I told them I'm here to get the certification, they told me to come again with an appointment as they don't take walk ins now (but they never mentioned to my husband). Thirdly, the lawyer was rude and unprofessional when she rushed out of her room to ask me my purpose here as I was trying to make the appointment for the following week. The lawyer was so rude while telling me about some of the procedures of the process. I asked her why is it a bit different than the information they told my husband. She replied "no one came here to ask any information, I don't know what you're saying" I told her it's her Canada post postman(my husband) that asked last week and she literally said " we don't have postmen, I didn't hire any postman, how would I know what he told you?" I was being calm and patient for the whole conversation but she certainly was not. For someone with that educational level, I expect to at least have some respect for others. This is completely unacceptable and very disappointing. I never went back and strongly recommend other notary public firms.
