I had a dilemma regarding the Power of Attorney and a will that I had drawn up for my brother in New Brunswick. He recently went into the hospital and he and I had the rude awakening that this was inadequate for the medical personnel to give me an update on his condition without permission from him. Thank God, he was conscious and able to do so. I gave Donna a call and she advised me that BC and NB rules and regulations are far different. She pointed me in the right direction where I could get the necessary forms to help me with this. She was thorough and so helpful! I would advise anyone who needs a caring Notary who has your best interests at heart to contact this woman! Thank you so much Donna! You have helped me so much.

These dinosaurs refused to sign my document because it involved the transfer of bitcoin and they didn't know what that was... Thanks for nothing. Bitcoin has been around for 10 years. Unacceptable for them to refuse me just because of their absolute ignorance. Use someone else, avoid this place.

My family has been going to Donna's office for ten to fifteen years and have never had anything but the most professional, knowledgeable, helpful and efficient service. We have used her office for estate planning (best advice EVER!), wills, property conveyances, power of attorneys, and preparation and processing of a variety of documents. Fees charged have always been reasonable. It has ALWAYS been a pleasure to deal with her office and I highly recommend them.

I used Donna Van Beeks services for my work transfer sale and purchase of homes, which was supposed to be capped at Gov't rates. My wife was overcharged on the sale of her property and when Van Beek was confronted on this she denied knowing anything about it being a Gov't move. Yet making many excuses why she didn't know what was going on. Would never use her again and will inform all the people I know of what happened. Charma has a funny way of coming back to haunt you.

I have now been into donna van beeks office twice and both times were just a terrible experience. I thought the first time she was just having a bad day but the second time was even worse. I never review any business this is my first time as it was that bad. They are all very rude and condescending to their clients. You go there for help with legal documents because most of us do not understand this stuff and they make you feel really stupid for not understanding, and don't bother asking a questions then they will really make you feel like a real idiot. We went there to have documents notarized, well with a full waiting room we signed our documents on the front counter in front of everyone and this was some very personal information. It was both unprofessional and embarrassing. I could not believe they treat their customers in this way after all they are running a business and without us they would not be in business.

Used them a few years ago and despite the poor reviews decided to call for information on their fees, etc as I just bought a new home and need conveyancing. The person at reception was immediately venomous, rude and condescending. I'm not sure how they stay in business treating past and potential customers this way but I just said goodbye and went with another notary that acted professionally, answered my questions politely, and treated me with respect when I called.

Had used Donna in the past but her receptionist Cathy is not only rude and condescending but makes you feel like a child being reprimanded. Too many friendly, helpful notary offices with lovely staff that really want your business. Try Shergill, new to Willoughby Town Centre.
