Once I entered into my appointment the two gentlemen there were masked, had all precautions in place and were very personable. it was nice to have some light talk while dealing with everything today. My document only had one area. A quick Google search confirmed what he was saying and this saved me time and money, not to mention how frustrating it would be to have to wait longer on the bank to process the document since I would be missing some of the information. Never confirm an appointment if you can’t make it. - First of all, I didn’t ‘forced’ you to go with the 04 PM appointment. Nobody did. As what you have said ‘It’s either you come now (02:00 PM) or later at 04 PM..’ And if you’re not ok with the time or cannot make it on time, just lemme know thru call or text. Also, don’t be ‘I’ll be there in less 10 minutes’ and gonna show up 17 minutes late. Bottom line, when you said it.. mean it. 04 PM? 04 PM! Less than 10 minutes? Less than 10 minutes! Firm! Also, easy with you words. You know your mouth mirrors your heart. Thank you.

I understand that my case was slightly out of the ordinary, but it was very kind of the gentleman who worked with me to be so considerate and attentive. I wish the government employees at Service Canada or Service Ontario were at least half as polite and useful. Very impressed and will recommend Notarizers to everyone I know. Great company. Note: be prepared to spend some time at Notarizers' office, as a great job never happens quickly, and the nature of their service is in attending to all the details and nuances of the documents they will be preparing for you. Also, their service isn't cheap, but after consulting with the other companies I would still come back to Notarizers. IMHO, nowdays "cheap" nearly always means "not good".

I chose this location becuse it had good subway acess and the guy seemed helpful at first. We booked an appointment and when we got there the doors were locked. After waiting a while we called the number and got in touch with him he said he was grabbing lunch and would be back soon. Once he arrived he started off by asking us for our ID's. My elderly mother was there and she does not drive I asked if a health card was acceptable. He said that was not acceptable. My mom started searching through her documents and I asked him what an acceptable ID would be. He repeated "an ID". My mom was starting to get flustered and so after a few moments I asked again if he could provide some examples of what would be an acceptable ID would be. At this point he screamed at me " An ID I said and ID I don't know what you have. You keep me asking the same question" He then started yelling at me about me being angry that he was late ( I hadn't said a word to him in regards to this matter). He said he wanted to do a later appointment but accomodated us because one of us had to go to work. I did not force him to take the appt. He had 2 our ID's and threw them at me saying if I didn't like it I could leave. He was also very irate that we came on new years day. I should note here that he owns the business, according to his hours he was open I booked the appt days before and he had another appt right after that at 2:00 which he was 30 minutes late for because of his being late and his temper tantrum. The only reason we stayed was due to the fact that this was a time sensitive matter and it was challenge to get 3 people together due to our own schedules. Needless to say I would never use him again! Oh and in the end the health card that he said was not acceptable is what he ended up using. Adendum - Victor replied to this review and as you can see he clearly lacks class.

Be prepared to be yelled at if you have to call him back to correct a mistake. When he asked me how I would like the problem resolved I said technically it was his mistake therefore he should notarize a new document and before I had a chance to say that I was willing to pay something for his time he cut me off and started blaming me for his mistake. He had to fill in some blanks (Date and # of pages of the release document he was notarizing to confirm my ID) in a statement he was signing which referenced a legal document. He put the pages of the legal document instead of the release document the sentence was referencing as I found out from another notary who had no problems interpreting the legalese into English. The other notary also told me he would produce a new document free of charge if there are any issues. Victor, however wanted to charge me twice. I did end up paying twice but not to him. I confirmed the legal document was the correct document (as there were two) however that wasn't the one the release was asking for. I'm sure Victor is going to respond here saying it was my fault.

I have deleted my original post. I approached Notarizers to have a US document notarized to submit to a US company. Notarizers did what I had asked but I should have done my research and gone straight to the US consulate since they are the only ones who provide a US notary seal (This is what the US company wanted me to get for the form I was trying to submit). I apologize to Notarizers for my earlier negative post. I should not have expected Notarizers to explain the difference between a US notary with an Ontario seal and a US notary with a US seal (only done at US consulate). It was my lack of research.
