I have used this person’s service only two times when I had to rush. That was some years ago. She is capable and thorough and knowledgeable ... and yet utterly disrespectful, almost degrading, insulting and humiliating of you if you are not rich, ‘beautiful’ and/or fair of skin.

ABSOLUTELY 5 STARS. This Notary is friendly, helpful, professional and thorough. I have been to other Notaries, where I have been treated as "second class" (something I am not used to as a successful professional myself) and found it hard to even get an appointment for service. The service Shahnaz provided was a really great breath of "fresh air" from the way I was treated elsewhere! I would never go anywhere else again, ever, and neither should you :)

She does not understand the meaning of time. I went in yesterday and her receptionist said she would be there in 20 mins. Did not show up as she was doing errands. I left and made an appointment to come back today. Waited there again for 30 mins and did not show. Extreme waste of my time. Would never go back. Plus there are notary services across the street for cheaper.

Shahnaz Rahimtula- Is a professional,experienced ,very polite and helpful . Today my parents and I went to see Shahnaz to notarized an Invitation letter for family members, our visit was very pleasant, she did an amazing job, she even wrote the letter for us, she was quick and professional with her wording in our letter. Shahnaz was very friendly and kind when I arrived, she went over making sure that I had everything filled out correctly so I wouldn't have any troubles going forward when I submit my application to have my significant other come visit me in Canada. If you're looking for a notary to be signed especially for the COVID exemption to be able to have an extended family member visit. It was my first time doing something like this and she didn't take advantage of my lack of knowledge and super genuine! Go to her if you need a notary signed, amazing woman.

Shahnaz was kind, professional and quick. Above all, I appreciate that she remained open for clients on New Years' Eve, when several other offices were closed. Her door said that she would be closing at 3 pm for New Years Eve, but she extended her hours to accommodate some clients who were unable to make it in before 3. This was my first time coming to Shahnaz, but I will return the next time I require the services of a notary public.

Worse service ever. Trying to remove my sister from my home in Calgary and brought her the relevant document to notarized. Didn't even read the documents, accused me of forging it, ignorant of Albertan property laws about dower consent, and get offended when i called her unprofessional. This lady is whacked.

Worst service ever. This woman calls her self a professional, not even close. She gave us totally wrong information ended up costing us a lot more money. Tried calling her to fix things that she said she would do for free if her information was wrong. She basically hung up on me and told me she was busy and wouldn't be in the office for the next 4 days. She is very rude and unprofessional. And does not know what she is doing.

If possible, I would have given her a 0 star. I have never encountered such an unprofessional, rude, and a liar woman in my whole life. People please stay away from this horrible horrible lady. Since this is something which involves legal matters, don't believe in her with your documents. I am pretty sure she will not hesitate to throw you in front of a bus in order to save her own skin. If I could, I would have requested to revoke her Notary Public authorization.

0 stars Don't go at this notary. Bad rate and it seems like her rate depends of the face of the client. We got her on the phone asking for how much she would charge for a consent letter for child traveling abroad. She gave us an interesting price on the phone (35 dollars for 2 consent letters) We ended up to pay 60 dollars for 2 letters. Huge difference!!! Bad price in comparison to other notary offices. (20.00 $). I'm tired of those places (restaurants, notary, lawyer, ...) who only ask accept CASH!!!!! She's one of them. Me personally, as an honest citizen, I declare all my income every year. Please don't do the same mistake (we were on a rush) and give your money to people who really work hard for it. M. Cardoso
