We've now used Deprez & Associates for several mortgages and our Will. They are the best Notary we've ever used - good at explaining things and confidence-inspiring competent. On our most recent mortgage, less than 24 hours lapsed between signing the paperwork with them, and having the loan in the bank. That's pretty impressive and we'd recommend Filip and Hilde to anyone.

Professional, friendly and efficient superstar service. I have visited Deprez & Associates a number of times over the past few years and have been greeted with kindness and smooth service during each visit. Today, I visited the office quite stressed and confused about the process of notarising some overseas legal documents so I visited the office using a walk in service. The notary explained very clearly what was required, instantly putting my mind at ease and swiftly assisting me with the process. What had began as an extremely stressful day for me was quickly turned around by the helpfulness and care the staff at the office showed towards me. This is the only office I will be using for future needs and they definitely will be getting recommendations to friends and family.

Because it is leasehold property, we used a lawyer recommended for his knowledge of the minutiae of leaseholds to ensure that all the lawsuits against the unit would be properly removed from the Title. I had Filip and Hilde help me with a transaction over 9 years ago and did not think much of it until a couple of days ago when I realized I need a piece of document associated with that specific transaction. Unfortunately, that piece of document was no where to be found; I therefore sent Filip an inquiry email at around midnight one day, planning on following up with a phone call sometime the next day. I was mentally prepared to spend quite a bit of time to trace and track the lost document, provided that Filip and Hilde would help. To my pleasant surprise and great delight, Filip not only responded the next morning before 9 am, he even emailed me a document that serves as the replacement for the one I needed!! Overall, it took me less than 9 hours and with merely ONE email request to get a replacement for a document that was lost over 9 years ago!! What else do I need to say? Their service is truly exceptional; I know where I will go when I need the service of a notary public in the future, be it next week or 10 years down the road

Now, you might think that the services of a notary public would be a dry and boring commodity, but both Filip and Hilde bring something very special to the experience: they put you at ease. No matter if discussing wills or completing a real estate purchase within mere hours before a deadline (our completion on a house purchase last week was bottle-necked until after 2:30 PM and Filip somehow got everyone paid and our title registered in time!) there is never a sense of tension or terseness in any communication. Most importantly to me, though, is that Filip and Hilde make you feel like old friends. I have dealt with two other notaries public over the years, so I can say with assurance that the experiences couldn't be further apart. The other notaries were fine, but my impression was that I was just a transaction to be processed and I never felt either of them was really looking at the details of my deal, which is something Filip has always done.
