Very thorough lawyer and best receptionist When buying and selling real estates, I made a few phone calls to short list lawyers. Not sure how it works on others, but for me, receptionist plays a determined role about where to go. Grace Guan in Zhang's law firm was great. She is detailed, organized and has a natural pleasant manner. We decided to go with them. My impression of a typical lawyer is she might rush or try to be the most efficient person in the world to optimize client turn-around. But Kathy wasn't like that. I first met Mr Russ Weninger through an email in 2016 which I asked a series of immigration questions after my legal confidant and friend Justice Donald Stewart passed suddenly. Mr Weninger answered all my questions in 24 hrs. In fact in all my dealings with Mr Weninger since 2016 he always answered all my questions in 24 hrs. Mr Weninger has aided me in a refugee claim and hearing, work permit applications and permanency resident applications. Mr Weninger took on my matter without hesitation. A file in which I should never be expected to win (an Australian citizen claiming refugee protection from Australia). I have dealt with 30 lawyers and counsels over the last 30 years. He was easily that lawyer that forensically went through his evidence, his submissions and his legal process. Russ and his team are second to none.
