This is to reply to the review of Md. Mohitul Haque Evan: we are sorry to see that you were not comfortable. However, we are confident to say that the situation was not like that. The conversation was in an appropriate manner even when you consistently disputed that a student ID is a government issued ID and when you claimed us after walking a long distance and the parcel could not be released due to lacking of proper ID as if it was our fault. We understand your frustration but what we have been doing is to protect you and other clients! As you could see, on the following day, you returned, showed proper ID and picked it up without any problem. Anyway, thank you for your feedback!

They absolutely do have an unsafe way to manage there shipment. They do not request ID, and anyone can pickup your stuff. They are responsible for your stuff and if your stuff get stolen then a police report should be filed.

Went here for printing service. I followed the girl to the printing room so she can find the file on my USB and then she aske me to leave the room very unpolitely which I didn’t understand because I wanted to see the quality of their printing. So she kicked me out and printed 40 pages double sided without showing me a single sample. When she brought them to me I found the quality of the printing pretty terrible and the girl was just so rude and unhelpful about this. All she did was bringing the machine and waiting for me to pay $38! So I went to the old man at the front desk and explained the situation and he said: “I’m sorry I should’ve let you know that the quality of this paper is not good for your work, but don’t worry you pay for this and I will print a better quality with the same price for you!!” Of course I refused to accept that. At fist he said $38 for the 40 pages (double sided) with low quality Print and was trying to push me to pay another $38 for another print. But when I said no he looked upset and he brought the machine which was showing 46 dollars!! I told him that you said 38 but he said no it will be $46 plus tax!! They charged me so much for a regular print. I ended up printing them again in another store with much better quality and much better price! Very disappointed!

In my field I network with hundreds of entrepreneurs and always promote Sunny's as being the BEST business card provider! For value, high quality, and presentation, you'd be crazy (sorry, but you would) to go anywhere else for your business cards.

terrible employees, lazy and try to play dumb, i use these services as i dont drive and sometimes my address can be found, other times (when the package is slightly larger) they dont bother and no notice so multiple times my packages have been returned to store without my knowing costing me money, just today i took a $45 cab after calling ups brantford for 2 days to make sure they had my package and no answer, once i arrived my packae had been returned to the store! i work and have children your hours of operation are a joke and your employees have no idea what they are doing nobody is answering the phone for days, avoid UPS at all costs its a joke.

Recently on two separate occasions we needed some new invoice books, of course as most people do, we left this till we only had 5 Invoices left. In a panic we called Jodie at the UPS Store and she quickly and efficiently got all the information she needed to print the exact same books we have been using before, she even offered to come and drop them off to me where ever I was in the city. This type of customer service is hard to find, and I can say with confidence that the next time I need any new business cards/invoices/marketing materials or practically anything she can help me with I know who to call! You truly are more than the big brown truck!

UPS always seems to skip even attempting delivery, despite placing the "attempted delivery" sticker on your door. I've missed multiple days of work in order to ensure that I get packages on time, and not once have they ever knocked on the door! Due to the fact that I do not own a vehicle, I'm forced to make a 2 hour round trip to pick up my packages every time their drivers are too lazy to attempt delivering my packages properly. The one saving grace is the fact that the dispatch seems to actually attempt to be helpful, that is, assuming you can get in touch with them! On the few occasions that I've managed to get in touch with dispatch, the lady on the other end of the phone actually seemed to do her best to help me out, which was a nice change from the quite frankly terrible service!

I received a delivery notice last week and left work earlier today to pick up my parcel. After the employee checked my id she indicated that the parcel with my address had not arrived, although the tracking number she mentioned did not match mine at all. She then refused to search for the parcel using my name or tracking number and simply directed me to call UPS. I came out very confused but decided to look for a proof of delivery - the parcel was received by Holly at this location. I decided to call in and the same girl picked up saying that her name was Holly. This time she agreed to take my tracking number. I had to go back to the store again and they found my parcel. I nearly missed my bus connection, and also not a single word of apology was given. What kind of courier company trace packages using only addresses?? I live in an apartment building, there are literally 50 other people with the same address! This was a total lack of competence/professionalism. Sorry guys, you need to be much much more service minded and not just brush people off. I have been to this store a few times however and this was the only negative experience I had.

The employees are helpful and personable. The tall blonde haired woman at this particular store though frankly has the personality of a rock. Stressful to do business at this location. I'd give less than 1 if possible. Owner removed my item from the box and nearly broke it IN HALF WHILE ASKING ME WHAT IT WAS. He quoted me on the price then I noticed it was nearly DOUBLE when I was filling out the form to pay... This whole thing took about 15 minutes and I was the only one in the store. I removed my parcel and walked 2 minutes to the other end of the mall where I easily shipped it with Canada Post within 3 minutes - and it cost $8 instead of the +$40 I would have paid for UPS. Obviously never go here.

Shame on UPS. I ordered my textbook and sender sent them through UPS. However, the company did not deliver my package because the weather and did not left a pickup ticket at my home. Then they just updated "delivered" on their tracking system. Now my textbook has been sent back to the sender and UPS told me to contact the sender to solve this problem and they have no mistakes, they are perfect. What a wonderful business, what a great service they provide! Good job UPS!

I have had good experiences before with the store. This last one really impressed me. A main branch driver did not knock when they "attempted" to drop off my package. I know because we were sitting beside the door and got the notification as they were pulling away. I went out to see the sticker saying I would have to pick it up at the store. I called the store and they were able to put me through to UPS. They said they would have to deliver it the next day (to a possible missed delivery again) and I wanted them to come the same day since they didn't actually attempt the delivery. UPS had a big stain on their reputation because of this driver. After being on hold forever and told it can't be done in a few different ways, the store called me back and offered to drop the package off on their way home. I was so impressed and grateful. While it was the employee who offered, Jodie, the owner is the one who dropped it off. Very impressed and they saved face for UPS. Thank you.

After having an item weighed to estimate a shipping price I was given only one price option and tax was not mentioned. I discussed this one price with the recipient. Upon my return the same person that gave the estimate was present but a more experience person helped me. She gave me two price options, one $15 lower than the original estimate. I felt obligated to use the first option as the recipient had agreed to this. I felt I was deceived by the first employee who made no mention of options or tax. I am not faulting Ups or Can par but I will stay away from this location until staffing has changed.

I ordered a piece of furniture from Amazon. Got delivered to me by UPS I decided to return it so I got a UPS shipping label from Amazon and it indicated to DROP it off to a UPS store. I struggled to carry the heavy piece and finally got to the UPS store. The owner said sorry UPS doesn't pick up big packages go call UPS and get them to pick it up from home. I explained to her the return label came with a message to DROP off the to a UPS-STORE but she didn't care. Had to carry it back to my house and hurt my shoulder in the process. Definitely not going to be using this service again. I went in to send a small action camera to a friend asking for the cheapest possible way to get it to him, and it came out to almost $20! I've never paid that much for shipping on items I've ordered or sent from anywhere. I politely asked the cashier Denise why the price was as much because I saw the pre-order total on the screen on kiosk being different and Denise said, "Since I had to package it for you it was $3.50." That was almost as much as the materials had cost! I politely explained that I wish I would've known that before you did it as I would've packaged it myself to save the money. She rudely replied "Well do you want to unwrap it then re-wrap it yourself you'll still need tape you know?! I didn't even know I had the option to wrap it myself in the first place as she just took the camera and grabbed stuff off the shelf and went to the back to package it, and because of that I don't even know if my camera is actually in the box. I understand people have bad days but being rude to a customer who's merely questioning a price from a place they've never used before doesn't leave a good impression.

Disappointing experience with having UPS packages redirected here while I was traveling. One item was delayed due to bad weather and had not yet been delivered when I returned home. Despite going to the UPS Store in person twice, leaving my phone number, and calling to check on it, the owner rejected the package for some reason when it finally turned up and had it returned to the sender. I interacted with an employee who seemed very nice, but who informed me that someone threw away the note he left with my name and number so he wasn't able to reach me, and somehow my messages were not conveyed to the owner and/or other employees. It was not a large package and I don't understand why this happened.

Sunny was great! I had multiple documents to be notarized and then mailed internationally. The process was fast and the docs got to the destination as promised via tracking. The notary prices could be much better though! At $50 per document it’s a lot! Red Seal notary Toronto charges $20 for the first 3 and then goes down after. In my case getting documents notarized every 2 weeks due to a death back home has now become burdensome because the cost adds up fast! But the staff is polite and courteous. I hope this review is taken in a positive manner to help with costs as no negativity is intended here. Thanks for your services!

I've been using this store for a couple years since I moved to the area, and I used to manage a print and ship department. I've also been in Customer Service for 30+ yrs. I visited today to ship an Amazon return. Rachel made the process super easy, even though I wasn't prepared the way I should have been. She was a consummate pro! And while she was fixing my problem I watched Deets (hope I spelled that correctly) handled another customer just as deftly and I got to see a good team in action. It's too bad so many of the other reviewers don't understand that the UPS Store is not the same as UPS the delivery service. They have little influence on UPS Shipping and delivery. When it comes to shipping they have little more then the tools the public has via UPS's website; what they have is experience using it and regular pick-up and drop offs. The store is fantastic for is prints, design work, and packaging. We use them regularly for stuff like business cards, posters, and construction drawings. The service has always been top notch. I am usually served by the owner directly. The UPS Store has helped me out in a schedule crunch a number of times. They've always made right the exceedingly rare mistake or misprint. Don't believe the other posters. Great store, great people. If you have grief with UPS couriers leave bad reviews for the delivery service; not the franchised business services store.

I like to support local small businesses and sometimes will put up with uncomfortable situations, just to support local small businesses. However, after a recent experience of being yelled at by the owner, who used profanity at me telling me to get out of the store, that crossed the line. Background: I placed an order with a merchant that required a signature, but knowing that I wouldn't be home during UPS' attempted delivery as was the case previously, I asked the merchant to deliver the package directly to the closest UPS store (as I would have done after receiving the ticket at my house and changing the location to a local UPS store). This UPS store received the package and when I went to pick up the package the same day, they refused to provide me my package unless I paid a storage fee of $5. After refusing to pay the fee, the owner called me a f****n prick and told me to get the f*** out of his store. The point was not the $5, but the principle of not informing a buyer of all the fees prior to making a purchase. This store chose to be combative and extremely disrespectful over $5. Long story short, customer service is not this store's forte or priority. I called UPS customer service and they were able to schedule a delivery to my house at no charge and were very apologetic stating this store owner's behavior is not representative of UPS or the rest of their employees. I will never go back to this location or recommend anyone to this store. Stay away, they're unprofessional, combative, and extremely rude!

Today my family got digital pictures taken for OCI (a card for overseas travel) and Canadian passport pictures. Shiloh by far stretches himself to his limits to do an amazing job at the store. Super friendly service. The people there were ready to jump in and help when FedEx wouldn't deliver my international package. Looking at the receipt now, they ended up charging me full price when I asked them if they could apply my AAA discount. So if anyone qualifies for that, make sure you ask them multiple times and check the amount. Other than that, everyone was easy to work with.

The Notary service is too bad and the most expensive charges in the city $75 for the first stamp and she insisted to notarize a copy of the ID as per their policy to charge extra money when it’s not required at all. After they notarized my documents, it wasn’t acceptable because they did it in wrong way with wrong stamp and I had to find another notary and paid again $55 for him to re-notarize the documents again. And to correct other documents mistakes they insist to charge again because the notary comes from outside and can’t come for free which is not clients problem. Not recommend at all if they have zero stars I would choose it

I should've looked at the reviews before going to this store. I'm Asian and this is the worst customer experience I've ever faced anywhere. The long haired guy was acting like he knows everything about filing an Asian passport and was wasting my time to get some time sensitive documents notarized, while he doesn't know a thing about validity of expired document. Asks the other guy and he also replies in off handed way. This kind of mannerism keeps going around throughout the filing process. I get to Bob and we've some questions, he is just snatching the package, put the package here and let's send it. I had to void my label via UPS website due to some issues and arranged to pick up at the same store, but none of them knew what voiding means and tried to make me use the voided label! It kind of ensued into a fight and I had to call the customer care who clearly said you can't reuse the label. Finally I ended up taking the package and dropping off at the Kirkland store which was much better! I would've gladly paid for the new label and used the same store, it didn't have to go this far. The owner needs to do something about this, looking at the amount of bad reviews. They need to be educated on helping customers rather than saying I don't know, why I should be the one trying to find what voiding means, isn't that the responsibility of the UPS store employees? I would avoid this store at all costs!

Photo service is really bad and unprofessional (not sorry for using this word). I walked to store my Kid (8yrs) to take Visa Photo 35mmx45mm. Photo print was dark near eyes and entire chin area when I asked them they told me my kid has marks on his face and photo cutting is really bad. We can clearly see dimensions are not proper (no straight cut) both sides are curve cuts. Please do not choose photo services at this store. I really had to beg them for proper photos but they gave me these unprofessional photos with incorrect dimensions and improper cutting.

I moved recently to the area and decided to try the local UPS store to mail some packages. I was surprised to find out they ship and pack for you, (where have I been?) so this was a plus for me. Malia (the owner) greeted me with a smile and was so helpful. She made sure to keep the packaging rate down for me, because packing supplies add up fast. At the end she gave me a 10% discount because I'm active duty military. She told me her husband was very passionate about giving military members a discount. I told Malia I would be returning, and I would tell all of my military friends to use her store. Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable on shipping and rates. Thank you for making my day!

I've had a mailbox at this location since 2001 when it was Mailboxes Etc... and I have never gone to another printing place since it became UPS. Casey is the most energetic and courteous young man I deal with weekly. He is absolutely fantastic with logos, graphics, brochures, and always so quick. And they handle big jobs too. If you are small business in St Albert, there is no need to go deal with a big box store where you deal with someone new every time, and there is no personal connection. I've seen menus and brochures fly out of there, and when I get an extra-large package, they have no problem holding it for me. Try them out for sure.

I am a Canadian who does a lot of cross-border shopping. I used to use the UPS store for my pick-ups, but no longer. I have had too many problems with them. I use a competitive service that is much better organized. PRO: The one good thing UPS has (why I give them two stars instead of 1) is you can ship returns from there, which is convenient. That is the only good thing I can say about this store. CONs: 1. The line-ups are long, sometimes insane around Christmas time. This is in part because of the next item. 2. They keep all their packages in the back, which is fine, but they have a poor indexing system (if at all), because it takes anywhere from 3-20 minutes to locate your parcels. That means more time per person, which makes the line-ups longer and slower. 3. Twice they have completely LOST my packages. There was no dispute - they acknowledged they received the package, but they could not find it, perhaps because of Item 2, above. One time was a $300 camera, the other was $20 memory card. In both cases, I reported the shipment lost or stolen to Amazon, who refunded my purchase price. It worries me that parcels just "go missing" at UPS, especially high value items. 4. They do not notify you by email every time a parcel arrives, like other services do. 5. They do not give out free bridge toll passes, the way other services do. 6. Their prices are effectively higher. They charge $5 per package per week held by them. Other services charge $5 per package per year. 7. They charge for the use of their computer and printer, whereas competitors provide free access to the computer and printer.
