You have the opinions of people who purchased the services and products of Leduc Registries (Notary Public) in the area of Alberta (Canada).
Now the business gets a score of 3 stars out of 5 and this score has been calculated on 80 reviews.
You may have noticed that it has an average rating is discreet, and it's founded on a large number of reviews, so we can be pretty sure that the evaluation is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to leave their feddback when they are happy with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to give evaluations when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Notary Public is classified in the category of Auto tag agency.
This is my first time ever leaving a review because it was such a good experience it felt necessary! I didn’t catch the name of the lady helping me out today but she was amazing! We laughed and made jokes and it made the whole experience so much more fun. Shout out to who ever is hiring their workers because they definitely know what they’re doing!
I went in to renew my license and I typically renew for 1 year. When I went in this year, they didn't give me the option or ask whether I wanted to renew for 1 year or 5 years. She just asked for the amount at the end and sent me on my way. When I investigated whether 1 year renewals are still available, I discovered that they are. I called back about this being that I am getting married in less than a year and will have to change my name anyways. The manager I spoke to was extremely unprofessional. She tried to say that I would be paying $21 for the name change anyways, so then I asked if I were to only get the 1 year and theoretically went back to renew as well as do the name change at the same time next year whether I would be paying the renewal plus the $21 fee, to which she said no, it would just be the renewal fee. I then commented that it was not very professional that they didn't even offer the option and her response was (interrupting me to say it) we can't be expected to ask questions about every single branch of the service. I found this extremely unprofessional and am of the opinion that it is their job to ask questions! She offered for me to go back in and wait for them to call their head office to see if they could cancel the request and reprocess for the 1 year, however, I would need to be patient as it takes a long time for them to get through sometimes. She didn't even offer to call and see if it was possible to do so and call me back to let me know. I realize it's only $21 and totally not worth my time to go back in, but it's the principle. I was very unimpressed by how they handled this and will not be returning to this location. Make sure you ask questions seeing as they don't feel it is their job to do so!
haha one of the other reviewers described the employees here as "cows" and I absolutely could not have picked a better term to describe the attitude and conduct of the employees. These rude, obnoxious bovines need some lessons on customer service.
Excellent Service.
Fantastic service. Arrived 15 minutes before closing and asked the Manager to try and help with registering something another registry office failed to do on 2 trips to it. She was able to help and got me all plated with no muss or fuss.
The staff at the Leduc Registry is fantastic, fast & friendly! Totally worth the drive from Wetaskiwin!
Service both in-person and over the phone has always been courteous and helpful.
5min in and out for two vehicle renewals, all good
Hit and miss on service friendlyness I've used other registries because of that. In 2017 it's been better service wise and it has a nice modern look inside.
I went in to change my name after marriage and they wouldn't let me only take one of my husband's last names (he's Hispanic and in their culture they are given two last names). This is after I got our marriage license there and was told it was OK. I advised the rather rude lady of this and then she went and had a discussion with another teller within ear shot about their vast knowledge of Hispanic culture with a lot of "I think and I'm not sure". After a phone call to their manager they told me it was Alberta law to take both last names or neither and if I wanted to only take one name that I'd have to do a legal name change and change my name from birth... yea no. So I drove to the Summer Side Registry on Ellerslie and asked for a name change... shocking when their first question was if I wanted one or both last names and if I just wanted one, which one? I got it changed and a new liscense ordered in less than 5 minutes and when I told her about Leduc she said they get a lot of people from there because of how rude and uninformed the ladies are at Leduc Registries. I definitely won't be back.
sarcastic corporate lady, not really helpful...
Don't know why everyone has a problem with this place??? I have always had great service....just make sure you take the necessary documents needed to register something and treat the ladies with respect....they have been dealing with cranky people all day!
I work in customer relations and the level of professionalism when dealing with a customer at the Leduc Registries is lacking!
Line ups are always long but I've never had an unpleasant experience.
Bad customer service
New/returning to Alberta, needed to submit Rental Agreement to have driver's license changed over as they wouldn't accept a rental letter from landlord. With rude customer service, and also after the 2nd visit, with the Rental Agreement was able to get my driver's license. There was no offer to apply the plate to my car, didn't even feel comfortable to ask, might've inconvenienced them. Went 3rd time to request AB Health Care application form because of not being initially informed this is where I go to apply, only to hear the Leduc Registry is not equipped to provide an application for your health care card, and was told to go to another out of Leduc agency. Decided to go to Millet Registry because of positive customer reviews, and not only did they accept my landlords rental letter for the health care application, they also processed it for me with kindness and respect. !!!Kudos to Millet Registry!!! Recommend there be some staff/manager training on Customer Service,Team Building and review of roles to their employment.
Had scheduled a motorcycle road test and apparently my insurance was missing some information so I missed my appointment and lost my money and time. This was the insurance company's fault but the clerk was also very rude and condescending. Not only did I lose a month of waiting time and $115, but had a very rude person tell me all of this. Taking my test elsewhere and will never step foot back in this place again. Would give it 0 out of 5 if possible. Also, the road test instructor was friendly and took me aside after I was done with the lady at the counter and apologized for her and felt bad that this had happened. He was very nice and I'm glad he saw how rude the clerk was and apologized for her even though it was not his job.
I have had no issues with this registry. Service has been adequate.
Customer service is lost on this place.
I find, coming from Vancouver, Calgary & Edmonton that the service in Leduc registries are wonderful & human. To those that say the service is substandard, perhaps you should look in the mirror. NO ONE is perfect every moment of everyday. I'm sure you have ignored or were perhaps a little short with customers. I know you have, cause EVERYONE has done it at one time or another. You & they are human, maybe you should learn to be a little more patient & understanding. You have no idea why they seem a little off, maybe a family member is critically ill, or they just had a bad start to their day. People should really learn to look past their nose & be kinder & understanding. There is no reason to always be so hostile & angry if things don't go exactly your way immediately. You probably think your children are perfect, when others think they have bad attitudes & a feeling of self entitlement. Me me me me won't get you what you want, but Karma will definitely get you.
I always have a smooth experience at the registries. It does help when you don’t get tickets to make your renewal a nightmare. It’s not their fault. The office looks better after the remodel as well.
Been driving for a year and a half with a class 7 GDL, I am driving all the time, I've driven to Calgary, Banff, Jasper, hell I've driven threw the Rockies all the way to downtown Vancouver. I know I'm a good, confident, safe driver and I've failed my road test 4 times. Both instructors are rude, how can you focus on driving when the guy is looking at you, shaking his head and writing on his paper. One test I had an automatic fail for a wrong lane change but the other 3 times I seen nothing I did nothing wrong, one I did flawlessly and got marked with a 160 score, more then double of the failing mark and the dude didn't even bother to explain why, highly suggest using another registry for road tests. Place is a cesspool, they fail you for job security and money. I've posted under this account because I'm scared if I choose to go again they will fail me intentionally once again.
this place has gotten a lot better, since they have hired the people from Calmar..
I see a 3 star rating......employees shouldn't be able to review this. This place is horrible. Drive to Devon or the city where u can actually get information and not uneducated guesses.
Friendly helpful staff and shorter lines than in the city.
Went to the registry today and have no issues whatsoever. There was a wait, so what. All was done safely, professionally and very friendly. Well done, thank you.
Pretty much the worst service out of any place I have ever been. The people working are the grumpiest group of people. It has an atmosphere of the stereotypical American DMV.
Very poor customer service.Don’t like to go there but it is the only one in Leduc.
well, i see some unhappy reviews, next time when you visit ontario try a registry there, I miss Alberta.
Attidue over miss heard information on their end. Jas was quite unpleasant to deal with. Normally fast and easy to deal with.
I live in Edmonton and this is where I go. never encountered long lines quick service awesome staff. I recommend this location
Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I walked in about 11:30am and when I got to the font just stated I wanted my license changed over as I've recently moved. After I say what I'm there for she leans back in her chair looks over and says to her coworker "look here another one just my luck always just before my lunch" so I just kinda looked in disbelief as i couldn't believe what i just herd. But i had to get done what i was there to do so i stayed. Then throughout the whole thing she was extremely rude. Saying things like " alright let's see them" when i already had the papers out and ready. This isn't the first time I've had a bad experience there and it was actually with the same woman but hey people have bad days right? Not her she clearly doesn't care who you are what you're there for and disregards any proper customer service to people. Her name is Norma Sarnecki, middle aged long curly hair with glasses so if you see her just tell her you'll be waiting until the next person is available. For that i rate 1 star because it's not the first bad experience I've had there.
I’m so impressed by the amazing service I had at leduc registries! Going in everyone working there was friendly and greeted me right away. I let someone go ahead of me just so I could wait a little longer to get Norma as the person to help me. I honestly have to say she is the best. Im from sylvan and have never been helped out as much as I was in Leduc. She explained a lot to me that has to do with getting a new ID and license plate, she really does out of her way to make sure you have a great experience and have everything you need . We also had some good laughs. I will always be going back to her!! Thank you !!
The "no lineup" text system works well, was surpsingly fast. Staff inside have always been helpful and professional.
Fast. Friendly. Helpful!!! Coming from my old town where the registries ladies were EXTREMELY rude and not efficient this was super refreshing. Definitely using them everytime I need to????
Leduc registries has the worst customer service I've seen . I will be making the short trip to the many registries in south Edmonton rather than ever going back to leduc registries .
I have always been treated with the upmost respect and very friendly.. they have always been fast and courteous
I know it sucks working Saturdays, but don’t take it out on your customers. Why have 8 clerk desks and only have 3 open. Never coming back to this registry.
I went here to renew my plate on a day when it was pouring rain. Due to COVID restrictions, they had customers lining up outside in order to comply with social distancing requirements. They had a tent set up outside for people to stand under and also handed out a couple of umbrellas to keep everyone dry. Also, the lineup moved pretty quickly considering it was the last day of the month (last day to get a sticker before it expired). I will get my sticker earlier next year, but the tent was a super-nice gesture for procrastinators like myself who didn't have the option to come back on a day with nicer weather :)
Finally back from an excellent camping trip which would have never happened if it wasn't for the lovely individuals at this location. They went above and beyond for me. I will always remember and talk about the kindness that they showed me. Thank you guys so much, I wish i could give more than five stars. Ps I've set a reminder for next year :)
Never had to wait more than 5 minutes in line. They got my registration completed in 3 minutes.
Fast and helpful as well as courteous
Friendly staff and quick service. No issues at all.
The worst customer service, the tellers are garbage people and very y professional. They also know as much as a brick oven
Went in around 1:00pm on a Monday to get a Driver's Abstract. Took about 3 minutes and cost about $25. The lady helping me was friendly and easy to deal with. Note: there's a 3.25% charge to pay with credit card.
Driving instructor isnt very fluent speaking English and dosnt give proper directions highly recommend going some where else
Always a great experience going to the Leduc Registries. The ladies there are always in great cheer and ready for a laugh. I look for reasons to go just to have a laugh! Don't Changes Ladies!
Knowledge escapes them but there attitudes do not will not be returning you think you’re special because you’re the only game in town I’ll gladly drive 50 k for better service
This place put the wrong info on my papers and they now owned my truck and was trying to take it. I did end up getting it back but the hassle, worst place ever and unfriendly staff made it worst.
Terrible customer service from the older women with a tattoo on her chest. Been there 3 time, each time I've had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the same person. She seems to be upset that she has to help customers, and is berating and belittling in her speech. Ill definitely take the drive to another town to conduct any future business from now on.
I've had mixed experiences with this registries location depending on who's on shift, however, in general, if your ID or licence is current you shouldn't have to jump through too many hoops to get things done here. Be prepared to have to jump through a million and a half seemingly impossible hoops if your licence or ID is expired, though... hoops that may not have been explained thoroughly on your first visit. ???? I've also taken a road test here, and if I could rate the tester independantly I'd give him 5 stars; hes stern but knows what hes doing. (Exactly the qualities I believe a tester needs.) He took the time to explain in depth errors that were made and ensure that they are remembered rather than blown off. (I learned a few things from him that I didnt in drivers training, even.) If you're confident that you deserve to be driving on Alberta roads and you want a testing ground that will actually put that to the test rather than just hand you a free licence, this is a good guy to stop by at. Know your stuff and drive in a safe manner and you'll do fine. Spoiler: if you've been taught certain routes he "should" take you through, you'll probably be surprised when you go totally off course. Be ready for anything.
Oh the experience is next to none from this place. These cows sure think there something else.
Covids over. Get off the covid part time hours. For the privatized fees on everything i expect to be able to handle my buisness on a saturday. Really not impressed that i have to take time off work to handle paperwork that the registry makes off my bankroll and they cant be open on a saturday.
I came in there to do my bike road test and Norma was very helpful and my examiner was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this registries
I found the service friendly and efficient. I guess it all depends on the server and the day.
Being told 50 minutes before closing that i could not write my motorcycle exam due to company policy is the definition of poor customer service
Called twice and both times couldn't be bothered to inform me properly on how to move a vehicle from a different town to here on the weekend. Hung up before i could ask another question. Good thing we called AMA.
My registration update + renewal took less than 5 minutes, hard to beat that.
Renewed plates and license change today. Very friendly and quick.
