They're really not joking with the name-- it really did feel like an in and out, easy, quick process. I had to renew my license and it was my first time doing so as I'm young, and although I didn't say so, Cristy, the woman who helped me, could tell and worked with me accordingly. She was very kind and made it a really fast process and made sure all my information was updated and quickly took my picture. All of it was very routine to her and she made it a zero fuss process. Was out in 5 minutes! I received my new license quite promptly in the mail after that. Thank you Cristy and In & Out for being helpful and staying true to your name!

I spent days trying to get information from another province on a license from 15 years ago and getting nowhere. Harvinder was so kind right from the get go. My brother went to do his driving test and she was his examiner. Made sure to explain she wasn't going to trick him and helped him to remain calm despite it being a test. Really eased the nerves while taking the test. Most professional examiner I have witnessed! Wanted to give them less than three! but I tried to be more positive! I took the knowledge test there about two months ago and the atmosphere was so busy and messy while I was taking the exam. Moreover, after awhile, I didn't get the licence and when I called them to check my licence status, realized that they forgot to/don't proceed completely the process for me and it's the delay reason! What really was unacceptable for me was their behavior! They did a mistake but they behave in a way to put me down and passed the blame to me! How should I know that what's the procedure when it's my first time taking the driving test!? (DISLIKE)

If I could give no stars I would. Probably the rudest staff at a registry. Took my class 5 driving test and immediately felt as if I'd fail upon meeting the examiner. And when there is fear of failing before even starting, it's like doing a test for someone who doesn't like you. Your just nervous. No enthusiam, cared little about properly directing you where to go. Extremely rude when asking him to repeat what he had just said. Got back to the registry and I was marked as a fail on vehicle control for not gearing down a couple of times. Also the examiner won't give you much notice before making a turn. They take you on the bumpiest roads with minimal speed signs so your never really sure what the speed is unless you know the area. I got marked 3 times for going "too slow" 40 in a 50 while driving through a neighbour hood. I've been driving as soo as I was of age with no problems no traffic infractions, acciedents or tickets and I passed my basic class 5 without a problem. But o suddenly go somewhere new and I get an f in vehicle control and 105 points? Before getting. Out he asked if I had any questions and before even finishing what I was saying he was already getting out of my car telling me to read the book and slammed my door. Extremely rude. The only people that must pass without a problem are family or friends of the owner or examiner. And as reading previous comments I can assume they use the same few examiners, regardless of all the negative feedback they receive they choose to keep the same few examiners. Avoid this place at all costs while taking you driving tests. It's fine to get registration and other things like that. But as soon as they're in control they take advantage and it instantly becomes a cash grab the moment the examiner realizes you haven't been there before or that you don't personally know him. Terrible experience. No wonder it has such terrible ratings.

I was referred to spa from friend from Thailand last June.. Really great techniques, however since they do many variations of massages you must say which type you want. I feel they are best with the Thai meet West combo. Like it so so much yes! Talk to them first and tell them what you look for and then enjoy. They good people. Was surprised that some people complain...Silly people that complain. if you talk to the massagers, then they will know what you want. Best Thai spa in Calgary for sure! Where to find like this in Calgary Thai massage with nice deco Thai style Thai Canadian owner. The insurance coverage will do properly if you require and request from them .. Me never had problem, no way. This my third year coming. Brought girl friend for Valentine day ...she so happy I smile lots.

I've been coming here for years. They're usually really good, fast etc. normal stuff. Today we walked out because employees were not wearing masks, pulling masks down to talk, or sometimes yell across the room. Also a fire alarm went off and literally nobody on staff took it seriously. No talk of evacuating or anything. They just tried to turn the alarm off. It's not even cold today.

I go to this registry and have for about four years as it is just down the road. ALWAYS call ahead and be VERY specific as to what you need and want to achieve. Download forms. Double check everything over the phone with them ahead of time! This will save you from the sad and dismal attitudes they dole out in heaps. As a registry goes, you will get what you need in this way. They have the stickers, the plates etc. The staff are horrible. Repeat. Save yourself by calling ahead. Don't expect any smiles or pleasant attitudes. I suspect that if I worked at that office I wouldn't like it either. Silly cows.

Worst experience for driving test. Never go here for driving test. You'll get 200 demerit points just for following the rules. They want you to go fast, don't pay attention to the curves. Even if you follow all the rules, they have lots of other reasons to deduct point for. Just unfair.

I wish I were able to give 0 star for this place. The lady was speaking as she asked me forward and I am explaining my condition and she cut me as she was having fun conversation with her colleague. She cuts my conversation several times. I am offering to show my Alberta registration/ vehicle insurance as as proof of identity and she says "not accepted". Someone need to explain to this lady that a person with stolen wallet has no ID! This is my 2nd time having a horrible interaction with this registry. Please don't go to this place if you don't want to get a headache!

I did my advanced Test yesterday and the examiner just wanted me to fail anyway. he tried to collect small mistakes, after more than 15 shoulder check he just found that 2 were late. he took points for stopping beside the stop sign assuming it's too far from intersection.

I have a disabled 2.5 year old daughter with a severe illness. I went in there with a filled out form for a disabled parking placard. When I first went in they told me I would need my daughters Alberta health insurance card or her birth certificate. I specifically asked them if I needed both or either. They said either. I asked what else I would need. They said that was all. So I went home, got the Alberta health insurance card. When I came back they THEN told me I would have to bring my daughter in. I began to say, in a very calm voice, "I was just here and I was told all I needed was this Alberta health care card". I wasn't angry. I didn't so much as give a sigh. I simply wanted to make sure what I needed. Before I could finish my sentence the woman behind the counter raised her hands and her voice and said, "SIR? SIR? CALM DOWN SIR". Without saying a word I simply retrieved my form and my daughters Alberta Health card and walked out. I then phoned Alberta Registry services, explained what I was trying to accomplish and the person I was speaking to explained that I would need the Alberta Health card, my daughters birth certificate and I would have to bring my daughter in. So presumably if I left In & Out registries and came back with my daughter they would've waited until then to inform me that I would ALSO need her birth certificate. If you want to be unfairly treated like cattle by rude imbeciles determined to make a problem where none exists while getting indignant with you because of their own ineptitude then go to In & Out Registries. If you want to be treated like and adult by professionals go anywhere else.

Love this place man passed my drivers license first try with a guy named Colin I think his white and old with like white hair and dark shades. Very comfortable and understanding. He has a soft voice and at the end of the test he tells you what you did wrong and how you should fix it

On August 27 of this year I went to this registry to try to pay for my driving test. and I was attended by a girl of robust complexion of indu appearance and treated me in a very rude way. I finally bought the driving test for the license and it came out that there was no space. Then I told him that if I could return my money and he told me that he could not because he had already explained it to me. I was the victim of an intransigence and a very much treatment on her part and another aspect is that her English is not understood. Be careful with her.

I passed my driver license test at the 2nd attempt here. The examiner name was Collin. He is so nice and generous. I was so nervous. I thought I m gonna fail again but he explains everything so well and help me to calm and let me give my best. I cud not ask anything more. This registry is not a money making machine!! They test u on how ur judgment and skills r not looking for a tiny bit mistakes to fail u and grab money from u. I can def say this becoz other registry I.e riverband I hav been thru were like this!!! Thank u Collin for being such a nice examiner to me. I wish u all the best. Worst customer service experience ever!! I can't decide if the lady who works here (Mid 30's, blonde hair, average height) is extremely RACIST or just horribly rude. We went there today to apply for our health cards and handed her the documents and my husband just politely said to her "Here are the lease papers", she went on replying, "I can read that" and then very rudely starting scanning our documents. I realized that I had given her two copies of the lease agreement so I just told her that I think we have two copies of lease agreement in there to this she replied very RUDELY, "I am very capable of reading and don't need to be told what these documents are". We were just trying to have a polite conversation and in no way or form implying that she can't READ!! Her attitude just ruined our day. Not sure if she is this rude to every one or just was giving us a special treatment because of the way we look!!!! If you are the manager and reading this please look into this! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

I have only been here the once, and it was for a class 5 road test at 10 am on a Saturday. Everyone was pleasant and friendly, the guy who tested me was great and friendly to deal with. After some of the registries I have dealt with, it was a very welcome change of pace.

There is nothing in and out about this place!!! So ridiculously busy they need at least 2 more staff at the desk....I waited in line for quite a while then they hand me a form and pen....not even 2 min later the form is filled out and I have to wait in an even bigger lineup now!! This "quick trip" has made me a liar.... my lunch break gone. .. and boss probably thinks I'm full of sheet.....

The name of this place should be “IN & GET THE F OUT!. Everything for me was painful today trying to renew my license. The customer service here is unbelievably horrible. I was attended by this lady who had no idea of good manners, I think she just hated me for some reason I will never know. Just horrible, depressive, rude and painful. Just a dry and hideous experience today...not sure why the attitude against someone who is doing his diligence to be a better citizen in this city. Just horrible! Ps. If there would an option to rate this place less than one star, I would have done it.

I have to agree with the review by MUSE TES. Do not come here for your road test, it seems like the certain examiner works here quite often, she is very hard to understand, In the beginning of my exam I asked if it’s okay for me to have the automatic Parking brakes on, she had no problem with it until after the fact she mentions that I should’ve touched the parking brake button to basically pretend if I didn’t have it on, why didn’t tell me this beforehand? She was also very jumpy and has a spooky sharp voice, jump at random car’s lane change ( too far to have even affected me) and scream, when you get spooked and react (I braked, what would you have done?) she would obviously again scream at you for braking. Oh, and obviously she would mention that you don’t know how to brake. Also that you are not certain with what you are doing.( how could you be certain when you are being screamed at?? And also struggling to understand her direction? And can we mention the stereotyping here? Put her in a car with a female and she instantly jumps at everything? Could that be it?) It is a shame that dash cams have to be taken off during the exam, Alberta transportation needs to see the type of people they have hired. it makes it basically pointless to file a complaint with them because of the lack of video footage, but I will do that either way, petty people power tripping shouldn’t be put into this position, I’m also putting this on here so more people can be aware of this lady, mostly just steer away from this registry for road test, it’s a busy area and with such a jumpy examiner, you won’t be able to do your best, definitely avoid this location if you have heart conditions. Just no.

I went in on September 30th at about 1 pm thinking this is going to take awhile, because of it being the end of month. There was 3 people at the counter helping customers as they arrived, no waiting at all. Shauna (maybe spelled incorrectly) was friendly, helpful and very efficient. I was going to give my drivers license and she explained, no need for that. Thank you for a pleasant experience, I will be back in November for my other car.

I didn't feel like waiting in line at AMA for nearly an hour just to update my vehicle registration. Then I remembered coming to In & Out a few years ago when I was literally "in and out". I thought I'd try again today. Was shocked to see it was closed until I saw they'd only relocated a few doors east. Walked in and saw the was zero line-up. Had the pleasure of being served by Elaine. She was quick and efficient answering my questions and once again I was in and out. I let her know that I've never had a bad experience here. I'll save myself the hassle of going to AMA and just come straight here first next time. I'm hesitant in leaving a positive review fearing it'll just make them busier resulting in longer wait times lol. Rest assured I'll be back when the time comes. Thanks for everything again Elaine.

I visited In & Out Registry (on Argyll Road) to sign an affadavit where Debbie acted as my Commissioner for Oaths. She was friendly and professional, and the whole process was completed within minutes. She didn't even charge any agent service charge (beyond the mandatory $20.00 amendment fee required by the Government of Alberta which I would have had to paid by cheque anyway if I were to mail the certificates back myself). All in all, very pleasantly surprised! Thank you Debbie!

I really had a bad experience today , As i have been there to get my Alberta ID and I have shown the all the required documents which should be there , There two ladies Ms. Brindett and Other lady were soft spoken and Initially I missed one document and was told to bring Marriage certificate and I left the registry and brought the document and again presented all the documents and Ms. Brindett just went to Juan, Manager at registry to confirm the document is good to issue the ID and she came back and start working, All of a sudden Juan came and start telling that we cannot issue him the Health card and told to update me and I told Ms. Brindett that I haven't asked for that even, I asked for the Alberta I and want to give Knowledge test and Juan refused that I cannot give the knowledge test and start making faces and which is not at all acceptable, then I said I will not give the test and will just do the ID now, but why she being the manager can say no to anything or just looking at my skin color she can make the decisions without any ground.

I went to this place as it is close to my work. It was my first time ordering an abstract and I requested for standard drivers abstract, lady gave 3 years and charged $26.15 when I reviewed it. I told her I need 5 years abstract, she told me that I have to tell her in advance how many years I need in advance and now for 5 year you have to pay another $26.15. Terrible customer service. Will never ever go there again or suggest any one to go there.

Who ever drives their little company Nissan is comically incompetent at parking. Evidently serious struggles with a car the size a golf cart, always good for a laugh every time I see it. -1 star for employing someone who couldn't pass the parking section of a drivers test.

I went in to pay for some reinstatement fees, an application form and to book a road test (March 21/2017). I brought all the necessary paperwork including the knowledge test and was told it was all in order by someone with red(ish?) hair and a tattoo at the base of her neck. I booked and paid for a road test and scheduled it for noon today (March 22/2017). Upon arriving the 15 minutes early, I went to the counter only to find out that my knowledge test certificate was expired. Just the day before, this certificate was valid enough to book a road test with but the next day it was not. I asked for a refund but the employee said I had to take another knowledge test on the spot with no review in order to hopefully take my road test today but thought it would be no big deal if I had to reschedule for the next day. As if to say I have nothing but free time. Subsequently, I failed my knowledge test and have to re take it and book another day off for another road test. This could have been avoided if the tattoo employee I was referred to had sen that my knowledge test was expired. I thought since it was your guys' mistake I should have received a free knowledge test. I would like to come in and receive a refund for my road test and take my business elsewhere unless I'm able to receive a free knowledge test prior to my road test. Let me know

We moved in from BC and stumbled into CRISTY at Southside. We found her to be so wonderful and helpful. With all the transfer of documents and car insurance etc, I was happy to have dealt with her. Both my vehicles had to be registered to Alberta from out of province and Cristy recommended Anthony at INSPECTORS who I found to be very honest and awesome human being. Anthony will definitely save you money! If you have to get your vehicle inspected from out of province, I highly recommend Anthony at INSPECTORS and for everything else, CRISTY at the SOUTH SIDE registry. She saves you time and money and anytime I have any paperwork that requires the registry, I go and see CRISTY at 6246 99 St SOUTH SIDE. Do yourself a favour, and go see CRISTY today!

Worst service .....rude people ....feels like hardly working lazy people...i went there to apply birth certi. for my daughter...i am from fort mc...so did not know the process ...so just asked how long it will take ...person name vanessa said she is not sure ...may be 2 weeks ...when i called after 2 weeks they said hospital did not entered the data yet... after 4 weeks i called back and they said it will take atleast 6 weeks to get it but after that i have to go back to registry to correct the data...because data has been entered wrong...and it will take 6 more weeks after that to correct it...all the time rude answers and i feel like they do not want to work ...i force them to work..now i havr to go back to fort mc and just have to come back drive 500 kms because they can not deliver to fort mc....i have so stressed full...to deal with them..

Elaine over at the south side registry was very helpful. She gave me information to help speed up the process and I didn’t have to come back to bring that information to her. The service was fast and the staff were very friendly. I will continue to use their facility to complete any registry needs that I have in the future.

It is unfortunate that the service I last received was very unsatisfactory. The young lady who helped me was very rude and even seemed annoyed that I had come in. When I asked a question, her response was very rude as well and her words and actions demonstrated that she felt I was inconveniencing her. I was just going in to renew my registration, something quite simple and quick. I understand people have bad days but 3 times I have come in and every time have had very bad customer service. This is unacceptable and unfortunately, I will not be returning.

The road test Examiner Havinder, is the absolute best. I have never met someone who cares so much about people. She will help you stay calm and not nervous when you drive. She is very understanding and patient and has the most amazing energy. Horrible. I used to like to go to this location since it was so convenient, but after the latest two terrible experiences I will never go here again. I bought a new car from a dealership and got the bill of sale and insurance ready to go get my registration. The first time I went in she said that she needed further confirmation of insurance, and she was unable to process the registration because the insurance didn't start until the following day (even though I was picking the car up as soon as it was insured and registered). I was slightly annoyed but whatever. The next day, I went in again and I was super excited since that was also the day I could go pick up the car from the dealership. I walk in and go through the process over again - with the same lady - and this time she is telling me that I do not have a bill of sale and that it looks like only a deposit. I tell her it's the bill of sale FROM THE DEALERSHIP (it even said right on the document and had all my payment info EVERYTHING) on it. She continued to say she needed more confirmation. She called the dealership and that got no where and she basically told me she couldn't process it any further. I was annoyed and fed up so I went to a different registry and I was IN and OUT within minutes, with the same bill of sale... No problems whatsoever and I was able to go pick up my car. I do not know if maybe the lady is just inexperienced or just incompetent but do not go here!

Every visit that I've ever made to this registry has been a bad one . They get the job done . But not without being completely rude and condescending . It seems like they hate their jobs and their lives and it really shows. Unprofessional and embarrassing. Do not go here if you can avoid it. If it was possible to give less than 1 star I would.

I agree with the rest of the reviewers. Service is still just awful here. It was quick, but that was because the "customer service rep" (hahaha!) was in such a rush. She literally did not exchange ONE pleasantry with me. I chose to get my picture retaken (much to her dismay), and I checked my hair/face in the mirror on the wall first. I could see her watching me, so I jokingly said "I'm just checking my face", and she goes "What?".."Umm just checking my face....". She then smirks (not in a nice way) and says "OK" sarcastically. I know sarcasm, I'm awesome at it. So just for that I took my sweet time and glared at her through the mirror. When I was leaving her farewell was "in the mail in two weeks". "THANKS SOOOOOOO MUCH was my response". What a B! It seems most registries have rude, public-hating, uncouthful people...but this was the worst Ive been to so far!

If you can only get marriage certificates on Wednesday before 5pm and Saturday nefore 2pm, but are now closed on Saturdays. I take responsibility after arriving on Tuesday and seeing the sign inside, I didn't notice the sogn outside saying closed Saturday. We have received good servive from the staff and prices are better than many it is frustrating that we can only come one day a week during times most are working.

Went in asked for my quad to be registered gave her the bill of sale and my insurance and she registers it as a vehicle when I specifically asked for my quad to be registered. When I called back to let them know cause this was my first time registering a quad get home with the wrong plate call the place. It's my fault that it got registered as a vehicle even when I asked to have my quad registered apparently it wasn't their fault at all and I would have to come in and pay again due to it being my fault. I'm sorry but I've been in customer service for 15 years it is in no way my fault that your people can't listen to a customer and register the atv properly. I will be telling everyone about this horrible experience and how that I would have to pay for a fault of your staff member I'm sorry but if they can't register a quad properly what else are they not doing properly. From one pissed off customer oh and when you can't wait for me to come back because your system shuts down well that's a lie because it doesn't and I had another registry office wait for me and fix what your incompetent staff member refused to do because it was a Friday. I will be going to this other registry for all my needs. And to not even be told sorry I didn't do my job right I got a too bad so sad.

I just went to this place for the first time to renew my registration. The lady that helped me told me my insurance was expired in 2013. She was looking at the effective date not the expiry date. I took it back and corrected her in a soft voice as there was a couple other customers and I never wanted to embarrass her. She carried on to tell me how people make mistakes in a loud tone. I will not go back to this place as she made the mistake and made me feel like I wronged her.

The bigger woman with grey hair at the far end of the counter on July 31st at 5pm was the most rudest person I have encountered working with customers. I will NEVER EVER return to ANY of your registries and share the word. I just can't understand how the owner of this place would even tolerate this behaviour. There is absolutely no way this woman should be working here or talking to people the way she did. Disgusting. Shame on you. I also waited well over an hour twice. My experience here for my drivers test was good. The instructor told me right of the bat she wasn't going to try and trick me or tell me to do something that I could fail. The instructions were clear and well in advance of turns.

Extremely rude and terrible customer service. Went in first day and told me I did not bring bill of sale and that's all I need. Went in next day, same lady, told me I still couldn't registry this vehicle under company because bill and sale has both my husband name and company name onto it. This lady has no patient, told me to go home and ask my husband to fill authorization form. Went to strathcona registry right after, they explained what needed. I stayed inside my car and called seller to change the bill and sale info and fax it to strathcona. Problems solved in 10 minutes. Will not go back to this registry anymore. They are not helping customers, just trying to get things done.

Worst registry I have ever been to. I thought all were alike, but these people go above and beyond to inconvenience you as much as possible. I made 4 separate trips and each time they sent me away putting a new condition for my next visit. After the second time, I verified each time afterwards if I needed anything else to get the information I needed. I was assured each time each hoop was the last I needed to jump through. I gave up after the fourth trip because they happened to neglect to give me all the information I needed. If I could give them a negative star rating, I would. Avoid these people.

The level of incompetence here is unbelievable. We went in to get our newly purchased vehicle registered and the lady refused to do so because she didn't know what a bill of sale was. Drove a few blocks to the other registry off 91 st and got the registration done with no issues. Will never come here again.

The registry opens at 9 am today and there was a line up waiting to get in yet there was only one teller open, but you could hear two other ladies around the corner just chatting up a storm and can't bother to come out and help! Obviously there is good money made in the registry business to not have to care about customer service!

Worst experience. The lady who "assisted" me, Vivienne, was no where near helpful or friendly. Actually she was very rude and rushed the whole process. Normally when I renew my car registration, they confirm that all of the contact information is correct and that nothing has changed. She didn't do that. She just grabbed my old registration and started printing a new one before I could even say that my address changed. She then got mad because she had already printed the paper. I was uncomfortable with the whole experience. She was rude and not pleasant to be around. Not even a smile! I won't ever go back there. If you hate your job so much, quit.

Do not go there for your road test! I got some old white guy as an examiner and He was just totally unfair! He failed me twice, for the same reasons, for multiple “late shoulder checks” and even deducted points for “improper use of accelerator” I’ve been driving for 4 years and just learned that I don’t know how to accelerate??? Successfully completed all manoeuvres on the first try yet still got deducted points for “observation”. They’re just hungry for money! When I saw him the second time I just knew I had already failed.

Hate to say much but that same grey haired lady at the far end was helping me. Was cancelling registration and told it costs 9 dollars and change. I questioned her on it, her reply was all registries charge that. Not some or most but "all". After I paid the fee I called the registry I normally deal with KVP, and they told me they don't charge for cancelling registration. Went back in to the same lady and told her I want either that fee back or to give me the plate and registration card back. After arguing with me that in & out charges the fee, not understanding the problem was her giving misleading information. Not all registries charge the same fees if any for the same services. I see from reviews this lady seems to be needing to make some attitude adjustments as well as proper etiquette in dealing with customers and giving correct and honest information. It doesn't show well for customers. I wonder how many have to deal with her and don't actually write a bad review?
