We've got all the opinions of people like you who buy the services of In & Out Registry / North East Edmonton (Notary Public) near Alberta (Canada).
As of day the business receives a rating of 3 stars over 5 and that rating was based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that it reaches an feddbacks average is discreet, and it is based on a very high number of feddbacks, so we may be pretty sure that the evaluation is quite reliable. If there are many people who bothered to give their review when they are pleased, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to write reviews when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Notary Public is included in the category of Driver's license office.
If you are an anxious person like me when it comes to road test, I will highly recommend Favuel (hopefully I spelled your name correctly lol). He is such a kind, friendly, and helpful instructor. He gives clear guidance and has lot of patience with new drivers. He really deserves more than 5 stars!!
I read reviews but I did not bothered about the bad ones about this registry / Instructors. I went there, I have been to different registry in Edmonton, not a good ending even after I knew I did good. Navreet is a respectful lady. Explained perfectly to me before we start and even gave instruction earlier.....Thanks to her! I passed it!.
This place has horrible customer service, they sit there chatting amongst themselves while people are outside in the freezing cold waiting to come in, they’re rude and not helpful.
My son did his road test today . The examiner badge number 14035 was a very nice guy .His instructions were very clear.
All reviews I red about the road test and instructors in this registry are true. My wife took road test there today, class 5 basic and failed with 150 demerit points. First time she had 105 demerit points, with 2 instructors in the car. Today, lady instructor, told her that she has lack of skills. I didn't know that parking brake is "emergency brake" and the horn is "buzz". I have class 1 driving license, working as long haul truck driver and I think my knowledge about traffic rules is not poor. I will recommend to everyone to avoid this registry, to go to some other registry where are instructors doing their job professionally. It would be better to be polite and stop writing, I wrote more than enough. It is easy to see what are they doing.
Very helpful and knowledgeable, and kind to my friend who was very nervous for his test. Randy was a wonderful examiner and Juliet helped us after the exam. Thank you!
Helpful staff
Big line ups, come early!!! They have a check in app so you can sit in your car while you wait, good for covid and old days. Instagram: jasonvanjason587
If I could I would give this registry 0 stars. Absolutely discouraging, fails you over little things, even if you did everything else perfect. Guarantee the examiners are not perfect drivers, they make mistakes. They need to critique their …
Contrary to other reviews on here I think Tony was well spoken and polite. I was able to clarify directions with him as we took the road test without any condescension or sign of annoyance from him and he demonstrated a good knowledge of driving skills. Both clerks i dealt with were polite and knowledgeable.
on my Class one road test instructor fail me before i got out of the gate. I believe he said right 5 meters from the gate he he reminded me it a left turn. gone $240 the other day i went into register with 3 vehicles to be registered. 2 with end of the month insurance slips for a year and one with currant and new insurance slip . After waiting in a lineup for 30 minutes they would only take the currant and charged me a debit fee of 30 cents extra over top of the $93.00 = $ 93.30. They prefer cash over debit
Awful customer service, zero kindness there
I would give 0 stars if I could. I have had my son take his road test here 3 times now. And they failed him over and over. One instructor says it's these reasons so when he corrects the reasons. The next instructor fails him for other reasons. Again he corrects them. And 3 time now they say it's for other ones. Now I'm no instructor but i can say my son drives better than most on these roads. Yet they have no problem giving others their drivers. At first I was mad and thinking it was money. But now it seems more about his age that he's male and his background. I think this because his driving ad only gotten better with every fail. Yet they still give other reasons that the first driver never meantioned. It's frustrating as a parent to see how this brings their confidence right down over and over. And I 100% can tell u the instructors don't shoulder check everytime. They to may forget to signal everytime. I can tell you all now. I won't be wasting my money with these guys anymore. Because I'm sure they will just fined new reasons to fail him. When yet there's others on road that they should of gave the drivers too. But yet they do.
Do not take your road test here! I would have rather went to the casino and put the 140$ I spent for the test on red then take the road test at this registry! Took my class 5 advanced road test yesterday and upon parking the car after the test I thought to myself "There is no way I did not pass that test", with the exception of a few mistakes I know I made. The instructor proceeded to tell me I had an automatic fail which happened no more than 10 minutes into the exam (but I still completed another 50 minutes of driving after that without just ending the test??) and 155 demerit points. For almost all of the points I racked up that he told me about I was in disbelief. In my two years of driving since I got my license, driving every day, I have never been more proficient on the road until this test but I get an automatic fail and 155 points. Also to mention there was another woman in the backseat grading the examiner himself because he was new, so I was basically getting tested by 2 people and of course he is going to peg me on anything and everything to show his examiner he knows the roads. Also I am a 18 year old driving a nice car. I failed the test before I even started driving. Exiting onto Victoria Trail I was following the tire tracks left by other cars since there was a heavy snow fall on the day prior and I couldn't see the solid white line because it was covered in snow, he told me to move off of the line seconds after it became visible and marked it as "Lack of skill and control" and an automatic fail. Did he want me to drive into the snow/slush to avoid the non-visible line? I also racked up 155 demerit points throughout the exam, with the exception of 20-30 points for things I knew I did wrong. 30 points for driving too slow for the conditions, I was doing 5-10 under the entire time because the roads were covered in snow and were icy. 30 points for failing to blind spot check at the most useless times. 20 points for straddling the lane because I was driving in the tire tracks left by other vehicles and the lines were barely visible. 10 points for following to close even though I specifically remember leaving at least a car and a half length ahead of me at all times. Waste of money at this registry.
Excellent customer service by Serena when I went in to get my license photograph taken. I had been to this location before and while the other staff were great, Serena went above and beyond to help me fix a problem I had been having with other registries. She was quick, efficient and wonderfully friendly the whole time and made me want to come back to this registry more often in the future!
Expect long lines. They charge a fee to use debit and credit. Total BS. The government of Canada website says "According to Visa, MasterCard and American Express merchant rules, merchants generally cannot charge you a service fee when consumers use their credit card. However, Visa, MasterCard and American Express permit eligible merchants to charge a service fee (also known as a convenience fee) for certain types of transactions." Every transaction must be that "certain type" because they don't differentiate. Please be better because you suck!
Don't mind the reviews, I went there after job at 5pm for change of address and registrations renew, been fast and the staffs were friendly and helpful, good services , will return !
I've used In & Out for year's, AWESOME service and GREAT staff ????????
I took the road test recently and it was a fun and calming experience. At first, I was really nervous but sir flaviu was very patient and made me more composed before the test. He explained everything precisely and gave the directions way before hand to allow for a safety maneuver. Overall, it was a good experienced and I passed the test.
Update: Thank you for your response and resolving my concern in a timely manner. The explanation makes sense. I will update my review to 4 stars for the prompt resolution. Much appreciated! ————————————- Original review: I came in today to exchange my British Columbia driver’s license with an Alberta license. I held a full class-5 license in British Columbia for more than past 3 years and before that held full class-5 license in USA for more than 3 years. In spite of this experience, the representative at the window put me in Graduated Drivers License (GDL) program just because the BC license showed issue date of last year as it got renewed last year. I even asked her if she requires to verify my official driver’s experience record that I got from BC and that I brought in with me, but she refused. And didn’t even explain to me that I am placed in GDL. It was after coming home, I checked the interim license receipt and saw that I am placed in GDL. I will now again have to visit the registry on Monday from my working hours to get this corrected and get myself out of GDL.
Absolutely the worst registry. No one there seems to want to be there or do their job and they argued with me and blamed me for minor errors and said “well did you think it would be this easy?”. Garbage customer care/service. Do not go.
The examiner Navreet was very helpful in correcting my errors after the road test. By taking her advice I was finally able to pass my road test after another attempt.
I’ve read in the Brazilian community there would a session focused on what is required to obtain a driver’s license and open a business - and I was feeling a bit lost with all the online information. I work at a bank, so a lot of my clients come to me for advice on sorting out those items, especially the newly arrived to the country. Thais provided guidance and had thorough knowledge of all the questions I had, which gave me confidence on having her as a connection to my clients - even though her registry is a little far from downtown, I still encourage them to take the time and talk to Thais as I know they’ll be taken care of. Thais is a reference in the Brazilian community for guiding people on the right path and getting our questions taken care of. Thank you, Thais, for all your help and I hope your leaders know how lucky they are by having you in their team. Providing this feedback has been on my to-do list for a little while, but it was important to me that you were acknowledged. Well done!
These people can barely speak English. Plus when I walked in with my mother (who was there to deal with her own vehicle as I was there to deal with my own transaction), the clerk refused to talk to me and instead kept directing her responses to my mother. I'm 23 years old, can I get alittle eye contact please? Update: A response from the company owner was posted and I would like to clarify that this was my transaction as my mother was already done hers. And I know plenty of "certified' "professionals" who can barely speak English
I was very unsure when I walked in to registry office how quickly I was going to get my services done. It was almost lined up outside! People were opening the door and just leaving sadly, but to my surprise the lineup moved very quickly! I have been to registry offices were there is only 4 or 5 people in line and you wait about 30min or longer.... I was IN & OUT in 15-20 min (that's wait time and getting my registration done!)
The ladies who helped me last time I was here very helpful & knowledgeable. Will always use their service when I have to.
First of all I've never been to this place and found all the girls in there working or doing their job right like taking care of customer service first. The employees like to chitchat with each other a lot. The employees like going out to the back for a quick snack or something while there is at least 10-15 customers in the lineup. Very slow customer they never smile to their customers it's like these guys are working in there for free or something I would like to give them zero stars if I had a chance
Part 2 of review Let's jump right to end of the road test, I failed, not for unsafe driving either. Firstly I wanna point out at this point that the tone of the elevator voice changed which I felt it was tone of offensive or defensive, it made sense as the words came out her mouth. She had a lot to say about my hand position, 9 and 3 always, she stated that she marked a point of me every time I wasn't doing the 9 to 3 hand position she stated that I didn't do proper shoulder checks or done them half time which I disagree with. Had my class one license for over 8 years and have my class 5 forever, as professional driver I practice scanning my environment to where I'm 5 seconds ahead, meaning I can kinda where each person or vehicle is gonna be within 5 seconds, I'm very aware of my environment so when the road evaluator said that a pedestrian could pop out of nowhere,I was totally not understanding cause there wasn't are pedestrians that pop out of nowhere and I was very aware of that because I do my checks and know my environment and other drivers, that hurt my head, also there was construction setting up, no signs posted but laying out pylons. Being in road construction my belief is no matter situation if their men on the road you go 30 km that last failed me, apparently obstruction to traffic but I feel do not need explain why I feel this is wrong. I really don't want to say this, but I really felt that the elevator expected me to be hostile and rebutted her conclusion and given the situation with all factors considered most humans would more likely object this empathic decision that could be very much questionable on human moral behavior. I can't stand no more for this ridiculously finger pointing behavior of he said, she said when it's obvious base on my own experience what in actual fact which is should safe to say that should match with anyone who also sharing same space of experience. Already I feel her words are twisted truth with selfish intent so why would I give into what I feel is her premeditated outcome. In my defense, I've never heard of anyone of myself given a warning or ticket for the position of hands on steering wheel, nor do I don't thinks it law but I could stand be corrected this was majority of her words. Shoulder checks would come corrected if it's necessary situation where environment has the dangers around. I was in a residential area in non marking lane, I did use single light whis going side to side but failed to shoulder check, unless it's coming from the sky it was nearly impossible to come up on my blind spot, just good driving awareness. Recapping results, I display no un safe actions where humans or objects could or have been damaged or hurt. I displayed proper lane changes in high traffic areas where shoulder checks are necessary to complete sound decision of land change. Improper hand position and for it be a constant point deduction in my opinion is very uncivilized and selfish way to display authority of power.
They charge you 4% to use a credit card or .15c to use the debit machine. Seriously that is such bs how are you going to pay them without using one
The line might sometimes get really long, but the staff seems really friendly and helpful. I've been there couple of times and I can tell that each time I was treated really well compared to some other registries. It would get five stars from me if the lines were shorter.
The worst service ever! My fiancee and I went there to get the marriage license and we got there at 4:30 but the lineup was so long and when we got to the desk it was exactly 5:06 pm and they told us they won't do that after 5 pm. Even talking with the manager did not help. Their reasoning was it takes too long to do that!!!! We went to "registry are us" the staff were so friendly and helpful. It just 20 mins and even cheaper. Please DON'T waste your money and time! Cheers
I took my basic road test at this registry. My examiner Flaviu was very precise and accurate in explaining everything so that it would be clear to me. On my parallel parking he explained again his expectations before we proceeded. It was very helpful . Thank you.
Awesome location best service and great staff this is the 3rd location we have been to since we relocated to Alberta and specifically Edmonton and it is by far the most professional. Thank you for the awesome experience, wish we had visited your location first!!!!
Today I did my road test! My examiner was Navreet she was very professional and straight forward, when giving directions. After reading the reviews I was hesitant and nervous at the same time.. personally going out on a road test with her was an experience that’s she’s doing her job right.. when I got back she explained my points and I knew that’s true.. I would like to say thank you Miss Navreet and keep up the good work and keep our roads safe.. Driving is a Privelledge, .. I have taken drivers lessons full course and my mistakes were made by me.. thank you and appreciate ur valuable time ..
I took a road test with a woman named navpreet. She led me down 6 (yes six) separate school zones and playgrounds. We were on the main road for under 5 minutes, and at no point entered a highway. Afterwards she told me about how she deducts points if you go 4km over the limit (even though the police dont) So here is what I am saying: This registry will test your ability to drive in school zones, not on the road, not on the highway, just school zones. You could argue that navpreet is not going out of her way to fail people, but take a road test with her and just see what she is 'testing'. This is a money grab guys, go elsewhere.
Great experience here during two recent visits. Once for an update to address and renewal of an Alberta ID with new pic, and the next time for 3 address changes on various IDs, new picture and new vehicle tags. Both visits were quick and service was pleasant with no hitches. I will definitely return. They also handled the covid-19 line up and requirements well. Great place.
In & Out Registries - lives up to its name. Long line, but quick, efficient service. Observing staff throughout the registries, they were all friendly and upbeat. Even with their quick service they did not make us feel like we were being rushed to complete our business. They were a refreshing blend of knowledgeable, professional, friendly and hospitable.
All your registry needs in one location. The service is good but always a line up. For our family it is a convenient location and we do all our registry needs here but again not always happy with the wait times. Oh well we do know what we’re getting in to when we go.
I had a good experience in my road test, though I failed, I enjoyed the experience. I really don’t remember the name of the examiner, I wish I could remember, I can describe her, she looks Indian, dark short curly hair, she is really polite Iike me ????✌???? She gave me some advices at the end of the test, she deserves 5 stars. I just didn’t give 5 stars because when I went to pay the test they said they didn’t have or accepted visa credit card with chip to put in the machine, just slide, then in the test day I saw they have it. But I don’t regret going there and I would say to everybody I know to do the same.
The girls behind the counter lied to me to scam me out of $93. They don't know their stuff here at all. Edit: even the person who answered my review doesn't care
These instructors are absolutely incompetent. Do you really think I changed lanes without shoulder checking during a DRIVING EXAM? When attempting to dispute this the instructor got upset and she started to argue with me. If you just want cash then say that. ???????? Definitely going to book elsewhere & I recommend anyone reading this to also book elsewhere.
If there was a zero starts option this place deserves that - I have tried to get documents couple times for this place with same agent (Stasia) and first time she provided wrong documents (after being shown a letter of what we specifically need), we were provided with two copies of the same thing and charged for it. Neither of those documents were what we were requesting. Second time I showed her the same request and was advised that it has to be ordered and it will be emailed to me ASAP. 8 days later I phoned and ITS NOT EVEN PROCESSED and the other agent who answered was like well she isn’t here and she has to do it here.... when asked “it’s been over a week why hasn’t it been processed?” The agent on the phone answered well she isn’t here, no sorry, no how can I help nothing. Worst service! Don’t go here! Don’t use this registry.
the examiner that looks indian, short dark hair really needs to critique her students better, she is so discouraging about many things and will fail you over the dumbest and smallest reasons. Seriously disappointed with the examiner and the registry. I would give 0 stars if possible, get a better teacher. NEVER coming back to this place for a road test in my life. It wasn't failing that discouraged me, it was the teacher herself, she needs to find a new occupation because this clearly isn't it; she herself should learn the rules of the road before trying to critique others.
I took my road test today and passed for the first time! I didn’t really remember the name of the driver examiner cause I was little nervous. She was an Indian women with a black bun and she was very nice in making sure that I was clear on what I needed to do for the road test and even gave me driving tips at the end of the road test that I can use in my future driving.
I was hesistant at first to take my drivers test here based on the comments, but to my surprise my driver instructor Navreet was very kind. She took the time to explain everything and asked if I had any questions before beginning my road test. It made me feel at ease & comfortable. Thanks Navreet! ????
PART ONE OF REVIEW Finally the struggle is over, 5 thousand months after months jumping through hoops to get my license in order, I finally get to renew my class 1 but not doing a class 5 road test first. At the counter I only experience with clerk, I think her name was "Naw". Naw is excited at doing her job and provided outstanding customer service demonstrating with communication and disclosing mistakes that was the governments fault making it very easy to understand blocks of her situation which cause me to wait to that following Monday and without any complaint from me she provided a skip the line card, in my opinion is top notch customer service also shows a good human being overall, unfortunately my positivity comes to an end with my road test and let me explain why. I do not want sound egotistical with my next statement, my mbti personality is infj, genuinely hope understand my feelings on my experience. Road test evaluation clerk approached, introduced herself, I felt little uneasiness in her voice, I thought of myself standing 6'2 and being 230 pound man does make most people little shaking when not expected from my experience. When I made eye contact and read her energy my gut told me it gonna be a failure with this person. Right away I wanted to object this instructor but how could I explained that it was all base on a intuition and not assumption. How can I fail anyway when I'm a safe driver and know how to drive? Which these facts in mind, I did what I don't ever do and went against my intuition, let me explain why it was right. In the car now, before we leave we do a a light and break check. My thoughts was that I seen previous to me driver elevator had done to previous so it must a pre inspection for every road test done which would perfectly would made sense if it was a proper inspection with oil check, actually wall around and look underneath vehicle inspection along with a break check where you drive a foot test breaks that ohs standard if I do understand but also a safe practice. Once a vague pre inspection was done the road test elevator entered the vehicle, where she quickly noticed my phone safety put in ceter console carpartment, picked it up and said that she want me to loose it. This was a little odd my feeling said that their was checking was recording, having no malice intentions it's very to look past others behavior.
First time going to this registry to renew my vehicle registration. The ladies that work here do a great job. There was a big lineup outside but it moved pretty quick. The woman sanitizing the entrance and exit door handles after every single person using those doors is amazing! The service at the front desk is very helpful and quick. Would recommend!
This registry has always been a blessing for me. Quick service and kind staff. I messed up and was lucky to be saved by the fact this registry offers a rental car for road tests.
I just had a wonderful experience at the In & Out Registry Alex was super helpful, kind and always friendly. The wait was not as long as most days and the staff more than make up for the wait, once you are at the counter they are fast and more than helpful with all the needs at this registry. Thank you Alex your help was most awesome. Happy costumer.
l lent my vehicle to a friend who was undertaking his drivers test . l was inforned immediately that l had to wait inside and could not be an occupant ..Why is this ? Though l could not be on the road test l have known this individual for over 20 years and am well aware of his driving habits and NEVER has he ever sped through a playground zone or disrespected speed zones or rules of the road including respect for pedestrians. How could a person ACCURATELY see the speed within 2 km from the passenger side? Or penalize someone for driving a couple of km UNDER the speed zone when it was not obstructing traffic? I won't go into more details but an investigation into the driver testing personal from this registry should be undertaken for their bias and unwarranted personal decisions. It is difficult enough to understand a person who does not speak fluent English but who is also wearing a mask and a person should not be chastised for asking the examiner to repeat what they want. My only advise is to not utilize THIS REGISTRY FOR A DRIVERS TEST and something we were warned against doing. CHECK THE REVIEWS AND SEE FOR YOURSELF ..
Always long wait line + wait time
Very rude and unprofessional
I have been a regular customer of In & Out Registry / Northeast Registry (13058 50 St NW Edmonton) for years. Over the years one employee has consistently stood out for her unwavering, exceptional customer service. That person is Tiffany. She has helped me and my family members often over the years with a variety of services. Tiffany has been consistently patient, delightful, and diligent. She makes a trip to the registry, dare I say... enjoyable! :) I wanted to take this opportunity to bring her and her wonderful customer service to attention :) Thank you Tiffany, you have been a large part of our return to this registry for services. :)
Instructors useless because they dont know rules about how to drive. They say when u revears u have to use two hands. Using one hand isn't illegal while backing up........?.. i dont recommend coming here and doing road tests. They need more training.
In line outside for 45 minutes and never did even get to the entrance before I had to leave. Sorry but this service needs to be better.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR ROAD TEST HERE!! The examiner I got, examiner Tony was very disrespectful and got real butt hurt real quick when I even dared to ask for clarifications on instructions. He constantly screamed at me asking me "where is the speed, in the grass or cement?" I tried asking him what he meant at first but he just kept asking me the same thing over and over again; eventually he stopped when I started to ignore him. I have no idea if he does stuff similar to this to anyone else, but this is a clear intentional distraction to candidates. Finally I was INSTANTLY failed for "obstructing traffic",not once but twice during the same road test. The first being while I was making a right turn back to the registry I stopped for two pedestrians to cross; while doing so, the car behind me honked, and so he decided that the right thing I was suppose to do was to start going before the pedestrians were out of the way of my car and apparently and that I was "obstructing traffic." Not even 10 seconds later after after my right turn, he hit me again with "obstruction traffic".This time his reasoning being I should of stomped the gas all while making a right turn and change 2 lanes all within half a block distance on a very slushy and icy road. And to make things worse, after the fact he twisted the truth. He said I was still stopped way after the pedestrians had finished crossing(which was an utter lie). This tells me how unreasonable and logical this examiner can be when it comes to different situations/ road conditions etc. If you ever run into examiner Tony, don't get your hopes up of passing, chances are he'll fail you, give you a reason that clearly wasn't the case or the right thing to do and along with all that give you a bad time as well.
Seriously grateful for the service we've been receiving here for years!! I'm always thrilled to be able to be helped by Tiffany! Always friendly and helpful and so knowledgeable in all areas!! The only registry I go to (except 82nd the odd time) ... thank you Tiff and staff for your dedication ????
I had a very pleasant encounter with the girl running the chat on the website. She was very helpful and gave me all the information I needed. I then proceeded to book my road test and was contacted by one of the girls on the counter informing me of some extra fees needed to be paid and making sure I was aware of them. She was very pleasant and was happy to help me pay the fees over the phone. I have yet to take my road test but I'm hoping the good experiences continue =) **update** took my road test and felt I needed to update. After reading all the negative reviews in regards to Tony I was extremely apprehensive about the road test. However upon meeting with him all worries were quickly put to rest. He was super nice and friendly. Informative and not condescending in any way. He made sure I knew exactly what I was in for before starting. Though I did not pass he kindly explained why and gave me any pointer he could think of to do better on my next try. I really think the previous reviews were placed by people sore about their failure. Will be booking my next test here for sure!!
Kim - thank you for your help today! It’s the end of the month and my vehicle renewal is due. Did I leave it too long? Yup. My fault? Yup. I went online to renew through the government website only to find that vehicles that are jointly registered cannot be renewed online. After an unpleasant experience with the government “help desk” my husband and I jumped in a vehicle and drove to the In & Out Registry on 50th street. I was expecting a huge lineup but I timed it right and walked right in. Kim called me over - huge smile, warm greeting. I let her know that I was unable to renew online (and why) and that the agent I had wasn’t helpful. She apologized to me that I had that experience….an experience that she had nothing to do with! From that moment on I relaxed and we had a great visit while she processed my renewals. At the end of our interaction I told her my husband was going to be in shock because I’ll be walking out with a smile on my face (he was and I did). Kim, your customer service is stellar. You are warm, welcoming, professional and kind. In & Out is lucky to have you representing the team. Thank you again!
Jamie is an absolute rockstar. We went in there to register my brand new truck in a panic with 20 minutes left til close. The dealership we purchased from failed to provide 2 documents that were necessary for registration, as well as forgot to sign the lease itself. Being the hero that she is, Jamie allowed us to step aside and collect the information from the dealership and continued helping us until considerably after closing time. After the dealership finally got us everything we needed, Jamie got us on the road and made it possible for me to pick up my truck that night. No one ever has a good experience at the registry, but she made our night awesome and we are very thankful for all her help!
Fast friendly and amazing service!! Keep up the good work!!
Amazing customer service but did not pass my motorcycle road test. Thank you for your service. I was the guy wearing the red vest, thanks for your tips to the lady greeding customers. I must go somewhere else so I can pass.
It was the worst customer service by the lady supervisor, she didn't communicate how the client can save money, then the next day I tried to call to their number to ask a question, the lady on the line was very rude and sarcastic. Clients are paying for their registry agent service for their rudeness. I already went here twice and it was always a bad experience every time, they're far from North Town Registry in terms of good customer service, I just went to In & Out because I have no choice since North Town is only open 9am to 5pm because of Covid, but I swear I will never come back on this location ever again! ZERO star! Stay away from this location!!!!!
Exactly like there called in and out very fast service
First after reading the reviews I'm hesitant to go here to take my advance road test but after my experience today I'm very pleased with the service.. The ladies/receptionist are very helpful and friendly. My instructor's name is Flaoviu , he is very professional, calm and gives a clear instructions. Later at the end of the road test He will explain to you professionally how did your points taken and what or how your demerits/mistakes happen. Over all I highly recommend and look for Flaoviu if you wanna do/take your road test. He is fair and square. (And Yes I passed!) (5A) The place is one of the busiest registry in North so please bear with them. ????????????
The 5 stars review is for Kimberly! Me and my husband has been to this registry 4 times and today we just couldn’t thank Kimberly enough for going above and beyond from helping us with our …
I passed my test in second try but I had great experience with my instructor Navreet. She is great instructor. I would definitely recommend in & out to others. Staff is well behaved and experienced.

Big thanks to you Navreet and Juliet blessings
I had my first ever road test here on June 12 and I passed. Instead of being discouraged by the negative reviews, I practiced more and got familiar with the road. My examiner was very clear and straightforward with the instructions. I can't remember his name but he is a young guy. I am happy I chose this registry.
Poor service for read test. In 2 month 3 times took class 5 basic road test and all failed because of minor reasons like too early signals - too late signals and main thing we should not have to check another car signals instead we have to check their wheels so we know where they going. Wow I have been driving for last 7 years without any mistakes or fines in my country. That instructor lady was so rude to me. I do not recommend this registry for road test. go somewhere else.
Always short staff
Our experience here was extremely difficult and unprofessional. The instructor failed that driver twice, some of the reasons are listed below. Points deducted for not staying farther enough from the line...but it was a unmarked road. When a small child was at a cross walk hesitant to walk - the driver of the vehicle stopped and waved for the child to walk. Fail - reasoning: Should not be communicating to people at cross walks while driving it is considered a distraction. The driver took longer than thirty seconds to know where the defrost button was located. Points deducted. The driver was backing up out of the parking stall when the instructor- told the driver to " Crank the wheel more." The driver stated if he turned the wheel anymore he might hit the next vehicle. The instructor then grabbed the wheel a forcefully cranked. Missing the parked vehicle by a couple of inches. The instructor deemed this a automatic fail. The instructor struggles with clear communication skills during the exam. Does not know the proper regulations and frankly is failing multiple people just so they have to pay again. If you are considering booking a road test, I highly suggest going to another business.
If I could give this place no stars I would. Terrible staff that have no answer to the gouging of their fees for debit and credit cards. Claim TD Bank is making them charge fees but they don’t have TD machines. Stay away from this place at all costs. Other registries don’t have these fees. Your staff had stated it is TD Bank making you charge this fee. This is an out right misleading or just poorly run business that has to stoop to charging these fees. And don’t worry I won’t be back at your business again!
I took my advanced exam here and it was a great experience! The examiner (younger Indian lady) was very nice and personable. I told her I was nervous and she was reassuring. We drove for about an hour. She gave me clear and advanced warning when and where to turn. I passed the first try for my Advanced and my Motorcyle (different day) license the first time so no, they don't fail you the first try. 5 stars for the examiner and also to the employee lady who sat by the entrance. Too bad I don't remember her name (blonde, slight accent) but she was super nice!
If there is no star I undoubtedly will put it. I live beside this registry. Several times I reached them for services. I can't remember at least one time left them without upsetting and frustration. Their communication skills, services and experience deserve less than one star. I had dealt with all stuff from manager to employees all off them gave me this impression. I can safely say that I didn't get what I need. Now when I want any registry services I just reach other office and get what I need swiftly and comfortably.
Examiner with number(14811) is incompetent, harsh, gives wrong information and distracts you She told me your break light are not working. She doesn't know how to even check lights. Horrible moment and a waste of money and time .
This is the worst services I have seen. I booked application online which I paid them for their sarvers ahead and I show up on time the examiner showup late 15mint she didn't apologized I asked the examiner that your late 15mint .the worker which is she claims that's She is the manager start to argue with and try to force me to sign the exam I refuse and I asked for my maney treanfart back she refused. She thated me to take point from my exam and she ask me to leave and she said that she don't want to sarvers me I told you don't have the right to pick and choose how you want to sarver . this is the text they send me [This is a reminder that you have an examination scheduled for 4:00pm via In & Out Registry - North East Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your exam.] This in and out regestry office must holded accountable
It's almost a year now, and I'm still thankful I took my road test with Miss Cindy. She is a very credible road test examiner. She knows how to rate a real driver just by mere looking on her examinee's maneuvering skills.
I came on Saturday (of may long) I thought it was going to be less of a line up. I was Impressed how quick the line up moved. Thank you Alex for your your knowledge and time. I will be back soon!
Navreet was my instructor on class 5A and she did really good job ????.her English is clear
Awful! No customer service, very rude staff. Do not even accept payment card with out extra fee. Also very long line up and waiting outside the door. Go to Northtown registry at 97 St. not to far from here but great experience and quick service.... I hope you had same urgency towards improving your customer service standards as you are showing to respond to a customer reviews. Lack of customer service is evident when you are not even apologizing or let alone addressing for a bad customer experience in your reply.
i just wanna say thank you to the driving instructor FLAVIO for being so AWESSSOOMMMEEE 10million times..The way he gave instruction is so clear calming and soothing it feels likes voice from angel that you feel relax..it really helps especially when you are nervous not like the others that you like been interrogated by FBI or JUDGE Him he will bring the best out of you and i think that's a PRO..The ladies in the reception are nice and friendly. thank you
If I could give negative stars I would. The lady that took me for my road test was an absolute embarrassment to herself and your registry. She was in her pajamas and looked like she got hit by a bus first of all. She was like a child in the car screaming and yelling about mistakes. I admit I made a couple, so educate me but when i do. I say this is my second road test while we were driving and you tell me that I can see why And so when I made a fuss about it she began to become incredibly rude. This review wont do much justice but and the end of the day she needs to be canned. Best of luck lady hope you find peace. Loser
The test was good and instructions were clear however the conditions of the road were not good. My instructor Navret was very consised and clear.
This is the first registry that understood my situation the first time explaining it. A lady at another registry argued with me and gave me a hard time and due to her ignorance and giving me a hard time, I wasn't able to get my son his birth certificate for a year. I was simply trying to say since dad's name is not on the birth certificate I don't need permission for a name change but she argued the point and this is the only registry who understood and confirmed my situation the first time explaining it.
Excellent service. In and out, the name is justified. Good COVID safety measures and all staff is knowledgeable; I got all the answers I needed through a staff member online the day before, so just had to go in for picture and payment.
I had my driver's test today. Upon arrival, I was encouraged by the reception, which helped me pass my driver's test. Meeting Navreet for the first time was so nerve-wracking, but her introduction and the way she spoke to me calmed me down and helped me focus on the test. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. Thank you
It was very good and fast the people where helpful and kind
I had my road test this morning and I passed it. The agents were so helpful and pleasure to help me, same with the examiner he was very polite and fairly about the test. Unfortunately a while ago I didn’t have the best experience in a …
My wife had a road test on 10th August at 10:30 am she arrived 30minutes prior to the test and there was a huge line outside the registry ,as she is a newcomer to canada she stood I line outside waiting for her turn as it was taking a long she eventually asked people to go ahead as she had a test when she went inside the super rude lady sitting at the desk told her that she is literally 3 minutes late and has to rebook the test ,my wife explained the situation and the lady said she'll go and see what can be done however another lady came out who was either the manager or the examiner and told her it is too late and she needs to rebook for paying 90 dollars again, this is absolutely outrageous and unacceptable, my wife felt victimized and unwelcomed by these people and there lack of understanding for an honest mistake , we will have to save up before booking another test, it is safe to say we would never be going to this registry again,my wife is traumatized from this experience.
Very unprofessional and asked her to register my name under my husband’s health card. Just got two separate cards. Have to go to registry again for their mistakes. Very rude white lady, saw her fighting with a customer.
I did go that place three times and served by two very rude young ladies. Someone stopped my exam saying that I was having my cell phone in my hand, but it was proved that it was off and not in my hand. Without apologizing enough, she told me to come again. Another day, another one was listening to music and singing with it loudly stoped for a second to tell me not good news and start singing again liKe she was enjoying it. Wanted to do road test, again met a very rude. They are terrible. Save your time and go another registry.
Lines have been long but move quickly. They have an employee who monitors the line, lets you know how long the wait is, asks what you're here for and can answer some questions to save you waiting time. Got me started filling a form while in line which speeds up the process.
I went there about 2 weeks ago I forgot the ladies name but she was so kind and Nice I knew I should of wrote this that same day but this 5 stars is for her I hope when I go back tomorrow she’s at work If I’m in front I will let people go before me just so I get her again
I presented a completed original bill of sale, validated through Docusign. The customer service providers were immediately rude upon the discovery of the printed form. Rather than explaining why it was not acceptable they just provided an explaination that they wouldn't be able to provide registration services. The bill of sale does not indicate that it cannot be provided in a printed format. The sellers are remote and are not easily availiable for signing. I offered this explaination, and instead of helping or offering an appropriate solution, I was rudely dismissed. I will consider all other available options before considering the services of this registry again.
I have been coming here since I got my learner. The staff have always been friendly and knowledgeable.
This was my first time at this registry and the experience was definitely worth it. I've had my road test done with this registry and all staff there were very welcoming and friendly! The examiner, Flaviu was very nice and VERY FAIR. I was really nervous at the beginning but honestly his friendly attitude calmed me down quick! Thank you all!
Don't go here for a road test. I went here 5 times for my Basic Driver's Test. Only reason why they get one star Is the male driving examiner, he's very calm and made me really comfortable when I did the tests with him. I was very close …
I was here for road test on Friday 13/20. I was checked everything of my car before a while (lights, brakes...etc...). It looked everything good and ready, but unfortunately, when I was ready to take the test, the instructor found that one of my brake light was off, then he denied to process the test. I asked the agent that I could rebook another day for the test, she said "no" . I have to pay another $138 to book again. This is quite ridiculous, rip off money, I haven't took the test yet.(Yes, if I failed, I willing to pay another fee.) Now, I wondering, where is my $138 going? Back to government or Instructor pocket? Mina
