Closed at 4pm?? Most people work till 3 to 4 pm..... The manager was more interested in standing at the door then actually doing his job and help people. He also made it our problem that he was short staffed. Very bad service. Turn us away twice in one day!

Very impressed with the examiner. When me amd my mum were in the line a guy mentioned the examiner is very nice but very strict.. I got little nervous.. but my experience with her was amazing.. when came back she explained all my points and said driving is a privilege. To be honest I had an exam at another registry but the experience I encountered was terrible.. my 5star is for the examiner.. she’s genuine and professional. I was recommended by a friend to go there because she said she’s an incredible examiner.. we need more of her in Every registry
It would be nice if every employee knew the same information. Had to go back THREE times to get a health care number. Each time we were told something different that we needed for proof of ID etc. Wasted 1 hour total time in line because of the employee incompetence. Fort sask needs another registry office other than this one.

My favourite part of my road test was about 30 mins in when the examiner suddenly decided to start talking about aliens, the bible, parallel planets and lizard people and I'm just like "bruh, I know you're trying to test my ability to deal with distractions, but can't we just go drive on some black ice during rush hour instead?" The folks behind the counters were very helpful.
Went in to get registration for my vehicle, I've also been there previously to register my company and both times I had a positive experience with the staff, they were friendly and knowledgeable and I wasn't stuck waiting around.
While this is a busy registry, the staff was courteous, friendly, and very helpful. Service was fast.
Just passed my road test today. The examiner was very polite, kind and professional. She made me feel less nervous about my test which I needed the most. Overall I had a great experience with the examiner and registry overall. Highly recommended.

Sue Arnold has been my broker since I was 16. When I call her I simply say I am calling, using my first name, and she knows exactly who I am. She always asks how I am and means it. She also is patient and quick when answering any and all questions I have. She sent me a copy of my insurance within 5 minutes of asking one time. When I moved to a completely different part of the province I kept her, I wouldn't want a different broker. She is Farnese to me and for that reason I would give 6 stars if I could.
Clean, efficient, organized, kinda boring. Just what you'd expect from a government building. Nothing grand but certainly not bad.
Very snotty insurance lady wouldn't help me because it would take her 45 minutes to write me a policy!! Unbelievable service. Will never come back here.
Have had to deal with Farnese registry multiple times haven’t had a problem or negative experience, they answered my questions and were polite sometimes the line up and wait time is a pain but not as bad as the gas lines at Costco before the long weekend.

At no time in 25 years of needing Farnese for Ft Sask registry services have I ever had a positive experience. This is the one business that Google needs a 0 rating for. The service is always extremely slow. The staff are never pleasant, helpful, or knowledgeable. It is the only business I have seen that has a signs posted "We do not tolerate swearing or verbal abuse." Why is that? Probably because they are the only business that infuriates customers almost every single transaction. Instead of blaming their customers, they should look at themselves in the mirror as to the cause of such frustration. When you see TV and movies about the "DMV" in the USA being so useless, they could probably film it at Farnese. I highly recommend going to any other agency if you have the time to go to Sh Pk or Edmonton

The process to acquire my license with Farnese Registry was very smooth. There was no ridiculous wait time. The employee that helped me with paperwork and fees was polite and helpful. The examiner was patient, friendly, and explained any mistakes I made very clearly. I passed the test and the whole process was done within an hour. Overall great experience.

Badge # 14324…I think she said her name was Arun something .. that’s all I remember .. she was very professional 10/10 .. my experience with her was amazing.. even the girl at the desk was more happy than me when I said I passed my exam .. A friend of mine recommended me, I guess I made the right choice. Examiner is very professional very clear on her directions. I have been going there for the last two weeks but they can’t process the application for name change Only one person can do that who is very busy Put a trainee sign if you don’t know the whole work Asking me to try somewhere else I was waiting for the last 15 minutes today by the time my turn came the person says I’m leaving now That’s stupid guys

They are always usually good, although given the covid rules. NOT one person in this office wears a mask, weather they have plexi up or not. I believe if every one has to follow these new rules, they should not be an exception. I understand your exempt with the plexi, I watched 3 people walk around 3 clients after opening the doors. Not one of those three employees were wearing a mask, do your job and help stop the spread. I'm glad the three of us that did enter, were taking the right precautions unlike your employees! Thank you we appreciate your cooperation!!!!!!

This is the worst customer service I have ever had at a registry. The woman who answered the phone (Kim) was rude and totally unsympathetic to my situation (a dying mother in another province) then lied and told me she didn’t know when the manager would be back when I asked to speak to him. The customer contact centre told me they would help me at no charge especially with my situation. I would not recommend this registry drive into edmonton to get the help you need.
Professional yet friendly staff. I had to do bunch of stuff and the girl patiently helped me with all(Almost 20 mins). I have seen people getting rude and mean to the staff but understand that they are doing the best to accomadate you. Get you paperwork ready before you go there.Things will be much more easier.I will definitely visit this office again :)

If I could give a zero rating I would. The Registry staff seem to forget by their attitude that they specifically have a job because people require a service. I have never experienced such rude, incompassionate service help ever. I was belittled, and talked down to as if I had never renewed my registration. I will never recommend anyone to this Registry branch, and will in fact tell people that it is worth the drive to Sherwood Park or Edmonton to spend your hard earned money.
I want to take my mother to a concert in Saskatchewan for one night and we need medical insurance for her. Rayna was able to provide us with insurance after two other companies brushed her off because she has cancer. Instead of sending us a lengthy questionnaire, she took the time to go through it with us. Definitely will spread the word and return for more excellent service; thank you so much!

Terrible registry and zero communication. Before coming in I tried to email, and phone in but both never were returned. I actually phoned several times, different hours - and never an answer. Despite showing up, being told they did do said service only to come back later with the correct paperwork to only be told that they actually don't - even though their website clearly states that they do. So which is it? I can put up with the wait times, that's fine and to be expected. But when a simple issue is dragged into a week long ordeal with zero help, communication, and also misinformation it's incredibly frustrating. Edit: So the solution/response to my issues from the Registry is the email them... despite that literally be one of the problems where I never heard back from them (as well as VM's) in the first place.

I specifically drive down from Sherwood park every time for my registry needs as their wait times are really short. The staff is very professional too and always willing to go out of their way to help.

Attended this shop previously to adjust vehicle plates. Was not too crowded, wait in line was fairly short. The staff member we dealt with was very friendly and professional. COVID notes: barriers were up between staff and patrons and between stations. However markings for social distancing and line placement was not clear.
I had a road test for class 4, and I supposed to do pre trip in inspection but he didn’t told me to do pre trip inspection, he came 15 min late and took my driving test 50 min and most importantly I was driving at 30km/ h in school zone but he told me you don’t need to drive at 30km/h if there are no student because at school zone board they didn’t wrote down speed . Very bad experience with that old man,

Was very pleased with the customer service here. Only had to wait for a short amount of time (as compared to other 'nightmare' registries). When I did get to the counter, the clerk was helpful and accommodating. Will use this office in the future.
Dealt with a broker named Paul today. Right from the get go he was rude and not letting me speak. When i brought it up to him he then became more rude and a smart ass. Was not willing to listen to anything "the customer" had to say and was quite ignorant and condescending. After dealing with this Paul gentleman I will be moving my business elsewhere and will not be recommending anyone to go there for insurance needs. Stay away from the negative customer service if you can.

The staff here is great. Move the lines very quickly even when in a line of 12 people. Very helpful when I have had questions and offer suggestions on how to go about special circumstances. Love that they are open earlier then most registries!
Very rude and will always fail you first try. Been told very contradicting information from staff on how they do the grading. Everyone I know has failed from here and had nothing but bad things to say.
The registry line is usually pretty busy. The service is always good.
Not bad they were fast which is good. The lady I had must of been pretty new and needs some work on handling cash but was very friendly and I'm sure will get better in time. On that note bring cash don't pay the ridiculous 3.5% on credit card transactions!
I have mixed reviews. Over time I feel like my experiences have been getting worse. When I first started coming to Farnese it was a much better experience, long wait times but staff were really friendly and helpful. I never had an issue. More recently when I came in to try to sort out some paperwork my dad had given me, it felt like the staff member I dealt with either didn’t know what they were doing, or maybe she didn’t understand what I was asking. Since we were told by a different DMV what to do, and I tried to explain to her, even offered to call my dad. But she wouldn’t help us. Kept saying it’s not possible. Wouldn’t call a superior over to help, just kinda sent me on my way. I was super frustrated and confused. Well. I went to a different location, it was possible and is done. Not sure why it was “impossible” here. I get people are learning but if you’re not sure about something, ask someone who knows. Hopefully the next experience will be better.

I've had nothing but bad experiences here. The staff have been slow, condescending and rude. Don't waste your time here, just go into Sherwood Park. Chances are you'll be back in town before you would have moved halfway through the queue.

This place is clean and well lighted. There is a public washroom. The only downside is that lines are often long, but the staff are incredibly efficient and very friendly

Trying to get a drivers abstract sent from out of province, the most ridiculous experience i have ever had to go through in terms of government. ICBC will not only take payment over the phone, but will email your abstract to you. Farnese will only take payment in person, will only release your abstract over the counter, and will not send it anywhere for you, the only thing they will handle for you is your payment. Thanks to Farnese, probably going to loose the one opportunity iv had for employment in BC in months.

Was #1 worst ever with insurance, felt scammed most of the time, never seemed organised and you pay for all the miscomminication. Will never deal with any farnese because of this experience.
We had a great experience changing over our insurance to Farnese, they gave us a great rate and went through all of our options so there are no surprises. They were patient with our many questions. Highly recommend!

probably the one the rudest registry staff I've encounter, they need to update their knowledge about the law in regards to electronic proof of insurance. They refuse to accept electronic insurance and argue about whether it's legal to show police that. they need to be reminded about good customer service.
RANT ... Do not go do any business at farnese registry..I went in to get my registration as it was up dec 23 and I know that you have to pay any tickets you may have before they will do anything , so the women at the desk said she would print me off my ticket and I can go online to pay it so I did that I went online and paid the ticket she game me and then I looked at it and my name was not even on the paper she gave me someone else's was ... my bad for not looking at the paper however i just figured they knew how to do their jobs so I went in and no one knew how this happened of what to do about it however I still had to pay my ticket to get my sticker..they told me to call the city building to see if they could help get my money back .. did that they cang do anything either..so call back to farnese and talked to a manager he pretty much told me it was my fault for not looking at the ticket and they will not be giving my money back and then hung up on me so now I am out $400 and what a luck day for this person I paid the ticket for! Just to add something the thing is they said I have a joint license with this person that I never even had a license with .. this post is not really about the money its the fact that you could be linked to someone from year and years ago which is not ok! ADDED as I can't respond to you ridiculous comment my story has not changed one time it's what happened and this person was never my husband also i dont know what friend you are referring to as it's me that when in and Robin is my husband i think maybe you should know what your talking about before you look stupid i have also spoken to service alberta and they told me that it is you that is refusing to give me back my money I am just warning people to make sure you get print outs of your tickets or your business will make you pay for other peoples and just tell you "a ticket is a ticket" which is true if in fact it's your ticket which this was not

Please be nice to the workers. They are essential service providers. They make minimum wages without benifits. Owner will not install plexi shield on counter and won't doesn't provide cleaning supplies, it's disgusting. Surly, unfriendly staff who prefer to give glib, incorrect answers to questions rather than spend the time to investigate the correct answer to help the client. On one occasion after eye survery I was told I could not get my Liscense back by Farnese. That was it. End of career. Months later another educated individual from a seperate organisation steered me through the proper channels to get it back. In trying to get another service through them a hurried staff member gave us wrong instructions that if followed would have resulted in a drive to South - West Edmonton and back again to pick up a form from the doctors as it had to be 'the original document'. It could not be faxed. When I called back and spoke to a curt and rushed manager, who was kind enough to investigate, her story changed to she thought we were going to fax it from our house and it had to come from the doctors directly. She understood 100% that the doctor was going to fax it directly to her, from the medical clinic on the first call. Farnese is good for quick, simple cash grab items. Registrations etc but are never willing to put in any extra effort and will not hesitate to feed you a line of BS.

If I could give a ZERO I WOULD! I took my friend to Farnese today so she could FINALLY take her road test that was booked two months ago - just to find out that the examiner never showed up to any appointments prior to hers all day. Did Farnese call to try and find out where the examiner was all day... NOPE. Did they offer to call to help her...NOPE. They told her to phone the Government herself. With a service that is offered at your establishment, you would think that you would try and help rectify or even get another instructor in so that many people would not be disappointed or time wasted. Worst customer service I have ever heard of!
Staff member was very dismissive when I requested to transfer a plate. Tried telling me it can't be done. When I stated I was reading the regerstries manual and quoted the section /subsection/paragraph her response was it must be out of date... Went to another business and I was in and out in 10 min.

Waited 535-615, and there was still 5 people in line behind me. Maybe have more then 3 staff at what I would assume as a busy time? So many negative reviews you think this place would figure it out to improve their business. Edit in response to Farnese comment: fully staffed by what standard? 3 people in the office at the end of day doesn’t seem fully staffed, especially with 40+ minute wait times. I’m not the only review that says this is one do the slowest registry places around...... And the employee that helped me was nearly crying, I don’t feel like in that moment she was exactly loving her job, but maybe her choking back tears of frustration/being overwhelmed is a sign of a love for the job.....said no one ever

I booked an Driver Test with my 16-year old and it was an automatic fail due to the tinted window. The Driver training lady walked up to me sitting in the waiting room and she so was rude upon her approach telling me of the windows. Thinking on it now, it seem she was trying to get a rise out of me, but I just accepted the fault, apologized and left. I was fine leaving but then my 16-year old stated she was so rude when she noticed the window and slammed the car door and just walked away from him and did not even explained to him of the test not proceeding. She literally marched back into the building leaving him standing there. When she approached me she said "oh I already started the test and you will not get a refund" this was two minutes after walking out the door. There was nothing professional about the Driver Training lady and it's laughable because I feel she was testing my reaction to her approach and she got nothing out of me. I can't imagine if it was someone else. I will not be rescheduling my appointment and it's sad because with the economy the way it is, I just lost $83.00 because of my own stupidity but to also not be accommodating for her two minutes of her time wasted. Not recommended!!!!

The wait time was pretty good and the staff were efficient enough. But I am giving two stars because a particular staff member I encountered was extremely rude, was not courteous, and was frowning the entire time. I expect people working in customer service to be more professional and friendlier. If there is something I am uninformed about and inquiring about, then it is her job to inform me and educate me in a professional manner. Instead I got snarky and just blatantly rude responses. Everyone can have a bad day, but please tell your staff to be mindful and more respectful.
Really great service from the young lady who helped me last week. I didn't wait long and she was very friendly when I came to the booth. She helped me quickly and answered all of my questions, even though there was a line behind me. I didn't feel rushed at all. I appreciate the service!

So I told my wife I want a motorcycle. She said no. I still told her why I NEED a bike. She rolled her eyes and said “do whatever you want”. Next day I went to sign the papers for a brand new sports bike. Unfortunately the passenger seat is sold seperately. I brought my wife along to ask her which which color would look best, she was not happy. I took the papers with me as I need to get my registry and plates. During the whole ride, the mood was so tense. Then I thought to myself since I am at registry, it would be the perfect place for me to kill maybe an hour or two in line like registries are notorious for, and hopefully by then my wife would accept the new addition to our stable. There was a lineup of a few when I walked in, and let me tell you.. the staff working here are machines! They are so fast and courteous. I was at the counter and paying for everything in 10 minutes. I even asked the attendant “is that it?” a couple times, hoping for any chance of being stuck here longer to not go back to the car. Let me tell you, whenever you’re at the registry and in and out in 15 minutes, that is mighty impressive. I am picking up the bike next week :) My wife is still grumpy and not talking to me. I guess when she says “do whatever you want” does not mean do whatever I want... Or maybe its because I didnt buy the passenger seat for her. Thank you Farnese Registry

David, the driving instructor, where the contest entry forms are, was very helpful showing me how to enter the contest. Then I saw Susan who has been helping me with insurance, etc. as I am moving. Answered all my questions/concerns. I didn’t feel rushed. Went over everything with me. Left there thinking the world needs more people like the kind, caring staff at Farnese.

They need a take a number system if they are going to continue their 5 people in the building at a time system. No sense having everyone stand outside in the rain, especially when this isn’t a government mandated rule.
Lineups like any other Registry but they have the staff to get through in good time.
So disgustingly rude and condescending. The paper for my insurance had expired but they wouldn’t even attempt to call my insurance company so I could see if a paper could be faxed over. Didn’t even give me any money back, a whole 100$ wasted just to have someone spit in my face when they told me that they didn’t have the time for this. They also treated my nervous daughter awfully as well. If your kid is nervous to take the test, stay far away from this place. They will make it 100x worse.
As part of my employment through another organization, I work with Farnese Registry quite regularly and I have to say that the experience and treatment I receive from them on a nearly daily basis is exemplary!! They are professional, courteous, efficient and always pleasant to work with. In particular, Shawna and Nick ALWAYS provide exceptional customer service. They truly go above and beyond. I have never experienced such rude, snotty, condescending customer service. If you're an angry person, you probably shouldn't have a job that deals with talking with customers. Or at least learn how to be fake nice. If you want to be talked down to and treated like an idiot, come here! I will take my business outside of Fort Saskatchewan next time.
If I could give no stars I would, the people that work there have the biggest mood swings I have ever dealt with. They can be helpful one day then the next time you can't even get them to answer a call let alone help you with your issue that is 100% their job. I called Cathryn at 8:30 am when they opened to find out about my insurance and not only did I not get a reply at all I called 5 times, and emailed.
They failed me for being safe doing my class 5, i was going 15 under during the snowstorm last night, and she also shut the screen off on my truck so i did 25 in the school zone (not knowing it was slightly after 430 because i had no where that said the time) so she gave me points for that for going "too slow" when theres no way i couldve known the time because she restricted my ability to see it, and she also marked off that my turns where too wide even though my truck was in 4high and has a wider turning radius due to it as it was snowing. She gave me points for this multiple times and i failed due to it. Ive never had issues with my driving tests and passed my last one with 100% score. Cant say im super impressed, its very clear shes never driven a truck nor knows how turning radius works in 4x4. Its more likely to slide in this weather, especially with no weight in the back as its alot heavier than a normal car. Waste of 150$ and a hour of my time. Never going to this registry again. Youre supposed to fail people for being unsafe, not the opposite. Do better.
Took my class 5 advance exam here with Latta. She was extremely kind and does not try to trick you during the exam. She also gives plenty of notice for when to turn/park. Overall, she was very professional and amazing!
The staff at this registry are incredibly friendly and efficient in such a fast paced environment. They got us in and out in a reasonable amount of time without making us feel rushed. I would go out of my way to use this registry whenever possible.
I try to register my vehicle last week. I being there twice but failed. First I admit the dealer wrong but the second is unacceptable.she asking a factory invoice. very frustrating I feel discriminate because I a tfw.any way I go other registry that day .then give plate I need.hope you improve you services.
Staff was friendly and welcoming every time I've had to come here. They did accept mobile proof of insurance and had me in and out fairly quickly.
Driver examiner was very knowledgeable and professional and he gave a detailed review of test results which was very helpful. Staff at registry are friendly and efficient. Not too long of a wait, great experience. Thanks Farnese
I have been to this registry three times and each time I have received excellent service. I needed to get a birth certificate on a rush and Kim was helpful and accommodating.
Brutal, avoid at all costs
I have never been treated so badly by someone working in the public service industry. Was belittled and talked down too. Unhappy, miserable sad bunch of people. This place used to be a great, happy place back in the day.

Rudest staff I’ve ever seen , worst customer service.. the one older lady who works here , she’s unbelievably rude I’ve never come across such terrible customer service... 0/10 I would never recommend . And the owner is super unprofessional judging by his replies on his low 3.6 star rated business ....... As you can see when you go through the comments and ratings , maybe you need to make changes before your terrible 3.6 rating turns into a failed business ....... Also it’s 2019 ...... the fact that your sooooooooooooooo cheap you charge people to use credit cards ... that in its self makes me never want to go back .. or recommend this farm to anyone .
I live in Edmonton but worked in Fort Saskatchewan the last time I got insurance I decided to try out the one in town and I love it. They are friendly and efficient I haven't worked in Fort Saskatchewan for 2 years and my insurance is still with this broker.
Awesome place to go to, the people working there are nice, and actually help you to the best of their ability. Nothing bad to say, even if i wanted to lol. Thanks again guys!
