You will see the information of people like you who consume the products and services of Banff Registry (Notary Public) in the territory of Alberta (Canada).
At the moment the firm has a score of 3.4 stars out of 5 and the score is based on 44 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is average, and it is based on a large number of scores, so we can think that the evaluation is very accurate. If many people have bothered to leave their opinion when they've done well with the service, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to place evaluations when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Notary Public is classified in the category of Registry office.
What an amazing notary service! Easily the best and most reasonably priced I have ever used. Extremely kind and friendly staff from what I witnessed over the few times I have been here - many young adults filling out government forms for the first time in their lives. These staff were patient and helpful. Beautiful building. If I still lived in Calgary I would drive out here for notary services - truly.
Rude staff gives a lot of attitude. Rather Go somewhere else
Unbelievably hostile attitude from Stephanie who refuses to help and just declines basic assistance. Can't believe she still has her job as i've seen it every time i come in and asked all my friends and collegues who have been their and they confirmed her unacceptable attitude.
Great Staff, friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Even with all the Covid protocols I was in and out in a short time. Mardell
My husband and I needed to update our address. Georgia was so incredibly helpful and efficient. She recommended we renew our licences to save another fee since changing address, recommended changing address on registration and health care (free). We were in and out in under 10 minutes for the 2 of us. I never written a review for a registry but Georgia’s customer service warrants it.
The women that work at this registry were some of the most miserable people that I have ever come across. They behave as if they were personally afflicted by every major disaster in the world. However, I would hazard a guess that the only true atrocity these women have experienced were receiving those god-awful haircuts. Perhaps they should have an Eat, Pray, Love moment and switch careers rather than bringing everyone down with their collective misery. I wish them the best and cross my fingers, hoping that their husbands will start giving them some so that I can get my licence renewed without feeling the soul sucking claustrophobia associated with being in the same room as these hags.
We are so happy now that the staff has been changed!! Great customer service and no more bad attitude or rudeness like the previous staff. Keep these new ladies please!!
Great staff there. Was so helpful once we got in. If you need employment or computer services like i ternet and printing. Come here. It felt like home.
The most miserable woman working here just adds 10x more stress to your day
Recently had the pleasure of dealing with Jennifer at the Banff Registry. She was very helpful and kind. Felt like I was dealing with a friend. Can't say enough about the service...many thanks Jennifer!
I don't know why all the poor reviews. My experience was excellent. Staff were respectful and competent. Service was great!
Friendly and helpful service. Thank you ????
Not good at all . Don’t go for the test here .
I'm troubled by the 4 day week and short hours. Having such short hours increases the chances of covid being spread.
It's a government office. Not much to say. The staff there are super caring and helpful though
These ladies were wonderfully cheery and efficient. Thank you.
Helpful friendly and efficient. A breath of fresh air compared to the Canmore registry.
Slow service, bad hours, massive lineups being created outside office.
Called ahead with no answer, and couldn't find the right info on the website. Waited in line for 10 minutes only to find out I'd need to step outside to grab my insurance slip(took 20 seconds) and Stephanie sent me to the back of a now 20 minute line even after the gentleman ahead of me did the same thing and was told to come to the front. Generally rude person and can't even treat customers equally. Pray she's not there.
Awesome place and great customer service. Had my documents notarized for a real estate sale and it was fast and efficient. Highly recommended.
What a horrible office to do your vehicle and licence renewals in. The women in that office are absurdly rude and they behaved like "we the customers" were inconveniencing them. Why the hell would the Alberta government permit these kind of people to work in their offices? We are new to Banff and Canmore and heard there was a really nice local gal with a great sense of humor that worked there and to go in and see her. We later found out she no longer works there. Who could blame her? Why would anyone want to work with sourpuss coworkers like that! I was appalled at the zero customer service my husband and I received and we will never go back. The one registry lady berated my husband over having an incomplete medical. We didn't know. Now we do and like I said, we will never step foot in that office again. We went to the registry in Cochrane and had a far more pleasant experience.
Love that they have 2 staff there and consitantly a massive line yet only one is working...classic gov workers. Also not sure why they aren't wearing masks while working.
"Professional and lovely!" - 2 words that would NEVER USE to describe the level of service that I received at office. I went in to renew my license and I was greeted by pissed off women who looked more like demon hybrids of Sean Spicer and Ted Cruz if they ever had a 50 shades of grey coitus in a threesome with a dehydrated Steve Buscemi. When one of them barked at me, not only was I met with the scents of the swamps of Dagobah, but I felt my eardrums bleeding by the croaking of these creatures who clearly would rather be smoking their cigarettes in their motorhomes while being ignored by their husbands who were definitely thinking why in the hell they married these life sucking dementors while cooking a sad plate of mac & cheese salted by their tears jokes it's their dreams and hopes of a future. Seriously, I have been to sweatshops with more optimism and hope than that I experienced at this Registry and the only thing I felt like renewing at the office was the belief that someone could actually be more miserable than the entire Atlanta Falcons team put together after losing Super Bowl LI with a 25 point lead with 18 minutes left. Anyways, I would suggest considering castration with a rusty spoon being a more pleasurable experience than going to this registry and I wish I could give negative 5 stars but I would give 1 star for the fact that the registry had a door that I could leave instead of having to hang myself from the ceiling.
I found it a lovely experience. The person I spoke to was absolutely accommodating and it took no more than 5 minutes for her to patiently help an unprepared person.
Unhelpful & Stubborn. If you want to get something done, chances are they will turn you away. On three separate occasions the woman have been short, rude, stubborn and down right useless. Including refusing to accept our proof of insurance. And refusing to give me any helpful information as to why they couldn't exchange my NZ drivers licence. Just a shrug of the shoulders. Good luck!
Great people to deal with.
Always friendly and helpful no matter who you deal with.
Would like to thank Stephanie for her consideration and assistance she was most helpful and cordial with our imminent challenge we had regarding our drivers licence. It was very timely and appreciated and saved us a lot of time. Thanks again!
If your Dealing with the super polite Blonde Lady its painless and quick, if your dealing with the other lady. just go back another day she is rude and not very helpful. This has been my experience over the last few visits.
Jen, Stephanie and Sue are amazing. These ladies fast and helpful and provide exceptional service. I am in the registry alot with my business and I always hear clients commending on how quick and friendly the staff are. Highly recommended.
Service was quick efficient and friendly.
I traded in my license from Japan to an Alberta license and they made the process very smooth and easy !!! I also had some outstanding conditions on my license and they made the call and have them removed! Very very nice people at the Banff registry five stars all the way :)
Couldn't be more unwelcoming. I don't usually write reviews for anything positive or negative but the good people of Banff need to be warned. The women who run this office are the rudest, most unwelcoming condescending cows to walk the earth. I work in the service industry so I get it, sometimes you have bad days where your patience are thin and you just can't handle one more silly question. That being said I have been in to this office three times for three different reasons and I have never been so uncomfortable in my life. The women who work here are the kind of people who walk in to any establishment and say "i'm local" and expect a red carpet to be drawn out in front of them. The first time was to renew my licence and I had a few parking tickets to pay. The attitude I got from the woman helping me was similar to a 13 year old child who is trying to imitate the bully from her Favorited Disney channel TV show. Similar encounters happened the last two times as well, I could go on but I wont. If you live in Banff, you should drive ANYWHERE else to get your stuff done, avoid this office at all costs. Its not worth the emotional battering. If you work for this office and are reading this thinking, "Its just another crazy customer, this review isn't accurate, i'm the best front counter agent in the world" Your wrong, and you could do with either being fired or going through a serious attitude adjustment.
service is good but i wish they could provide a good spot for people who is taking the knowledge exam. a table far from where people lined up to get service, for better concentration.
Closed on Saturday with no warning. Needed a drivers abstract, couldn't get one, didn't get the job I had lined up.
