It was a rather larhe and open venue where we attended a party and watched our daughter dance. The venue also hosts regular night club events and also boxing and professional kickboxing events.

We were providing some services at this venue such as White LED Dance Floor and complete event styling. Well all I can say about the Ocean Rooms is that our communication with them has been an extremely pleasant experience. Furthermore, the professionalism and assistance on the day was examplary. We were fortunate to try the food at the wedding and it was simply delicious and I can say with all honesty it is comparable and even exceeds any 5 star hotel. If you are thinking of hosting an event at this venue do not hesitate... Kelly the manager and Peter the bar manager deserve a big thank you. Not forgetting Abbey, Pam & Ellen.

The best night venue on the east coast! Lovely staff, good prices & a lovely variety of events hosted by Kelly & her team. Events cater to every age group & interest. Been very COVID safe throughout the pandemic also.

Stupid me having a pepper allergy and not informing anyone. As soon as I realised I’d eaten pepper I approached a waitress who removed and replace my meal (No charge) immediately The waitresses and the chef all checked on me and I’ve got to say they are an amazing bunch of people. The food was excellent the price was very reasonable and it gets 100% from us. Will definitely be going back

The ocean Terence is a great addition to the ocean rooms, sitting facing the beach and sea with glass to protect you from any sea breeze and those walking on the prom. The day I visited a DJ was playing some great chilled music which fitted the glorious sunshine, only had a drink as had just eaten , but I have to say what u did see if the food that was being served it looked fantastic and was being raved about by the table opposite us. I will without a doubt be returning soon to try what looked like a great menu.

Attended a children's show and the bouncers where rude! No manners and infront of my child too, nice lesson to teach! Food was disgusting and overpriced. Shame really as show was awesome just the rude staff ruined the experience.

My partner and 2 teenagers recently had lunch at The Ocean Terrace and we all loved it. Ibiza vibes despite grey Norfolk sky's. Each dish was delicious and the little extras elevated each dish. There were kale chips with the wings, pomegranate with the Halloumi, dill in the calamari dip - healthy and tasty.

A beautiful place to relax and unwind, the staff were perfect, very friendly and helpful and the prices were not 'rip off' so much so that we stayed longer and had more to eat and drink, choosing to spend our money and time at such a deserving business. Take a visit, sit back, relax, enjoy the music and atmosphere, watch time slooooow down. Fabulous.

This place is a revelation, great venue, cheap drinks, Morrocan decor. Went on a band night with about 6 different bands playing in rotation in a 'Later with Jools Holland' style. Great night out, can't wait to visit again.

Ocean Rooms is and has been one of the greatest nights out in Great Yarmouth. Over the last few years with the addition of Bongo bingos and the most recent Ocean Terrace it was become a place to come during the day and night. With wonderful bar staff and local owners they understand what the local club goer really does want.

Absolutely amazing venue, it’s like going back in time. We went there for brunch and it was delicious, the food was very well presented and very tasty too. The staff were very polite and very professional, I would definitely go back and would definitely recommend it to others.

Stayed in Yarmouth for the weekend and looked up places to go. Thought we'd try the 90s night at ocean room (would have rathered the 80's weekend) The 90s music was proper cheese (awful). When Barbie Girl came on me and my wife were ready to walk out. Only thing that stopped us was the macarena come on and the whole dance floor basically started doing the dance so we stopped to watch for a laugh! Deffo wouldn't go again for the 90s night. But a good laugh if that's what you're into!

We had delicious meals from the all day breakfast menu. It's a limited offering, but very nicely done and a just right plateful, not overloaded. Lovely sitting on the terrace in the sun overlooking the sea. Dogs welcomed on the terrace too.

Everything was great, lovely atmosphere, faultless and friendly staff, such good music and a big enough dance floor and plenty of seating at tables. A real event to come here. And there is free parking outside!

Attended for this New Year's event. Absolute joke. Started queuing just before 10 pm. Queue hardly moved, groups of people kept jumping the queue & going straight to the front. It took forever & almost gave up. There was pushing & shoving as we got closer to the steps. We got in just after 11.30 pm. Why don't they have better queing system & security staff outside to monitor it? I understand that there has to be security checks but that was ridiculously slow. I have attended plenty of major music events & never experienced such shambles. I will definitely not be going back unless they sort their act out.

I’ve visited Ocean Rooms a few times but last Saturday had to be the least enjoyable experience I’ve had on a night out in my life. Rude staff upon entry (nothing unusual as this is the case every time I’ve visited). After being heckled and having balls thrown at me in the club by another customer; I approached a bouncer who refused to help or intervene. After speaking to another bouncer I was told “we can’t do anything until something happens”. I explained that something had happened but the bouncer was very keen to not listen to me (I think they assumed I was just another drunk customer). After a lot of back and forth speaking to bouncers and having to argue my case my options felt very clear - stay and feel unsafe or leave. I believe the security have a role to play when young people are out drinking and enjoying themselves, if someone asks for help it should be seen through and not challenged. I haven’t let the situation that happened this night affect me but am very certain other people who ask for help and not receive it could have a very negative effect mentally that is unacceptable. I challenge Ocean Rooms to do better and to ensure their customers feel safe at all times - at £7 a ticket the standard of care and attention to detail should be much higher.

We visited Ocean Room for a drink after a day at the beach and they went above and beyond in their service. The staff who served us were lovely and friendly, and the cocktails were high quality.

Covid Safe. Covid pass or LFT on arrival. Following all Goverment advise. Limiting numbers of people in at once. Staff were very good. Cannot fault.
