I got the turkey BLT. The turkey was completely raw, it was transparent and gelatinous. When I told the waitress she said they are made with cold cuts and are supposed to look like that but if I didn't like it she would send it back. They made me a new sandwich and the turkey looked 100% better, not cold cuts but actual turkey breast and cooked thoroughly. I will conmmend them for making me a new sandwich that was good, but serving raw poultry to begin with is an extreme health hazard.

Soup and salad I had was Tortilla and Caesar. Caesar was bland, but I guess that's their market. The parmesan shavings were a nice touch, but were laid on top of manufactured croutons that tasted like the box they came in. The lettuce was fresh. The tortilla soup was pretty good and surprisingly spicy given how the Caesar dressing tasted. Garlic toast was soggy like it was kept warm. The service was quite friendly and efficient and probably the best part of the experience. My daughter loves the place, so we will be back.

Today I decided to dine out at Moxies Bar and Grill and I was not disappointed. The broccoli cheddar soup was thick and flavorful, which could also describe the waitresses and their friendly personalities. When it comes to entertainment, I appreciate the diversity of sports that were playing on the multiple flatscreen T.V's. My server, Alyssa, went above and beyond my expectations. She held great conversation and made sure my glass was never empty! The definition of "service with a smile". I couldnt ask for a better dining experience. 5/5 would reccomend Moxies@Polo to friends/family

Food was alright, it wasn't amazing but it was deffinately of a fair quality. The meals were slightly pricey however it was pretty average for this type of establishment. The ambiance and experience were nice, it's a good place for a date or group events.

Make sure you bring photo Id along with your immunization card as this is required at this location. I don't have photo Id for my 12 and 15 year old daughters so we had to go elsewhere. A passport for a child would work or a student ID card (if your lucky and your school offers these). Eating out has gotten complicated!

They ask you how your food is while you’re in the middle of chewing it, that’s called poor service. It’s rude, and makes for an unpleasant experience because they feel by asking while you can’t respond that they’ve done their job and are now entitled to a 15% gratuity.

We were here for dinner with friends. The food was good, the atmosphere was nice, service was fast and friendly, and the prices were fairly reasonable. The only downside was that we were offered substitutions for some of our sides, but were not informed that there was an upcharge. In our case, it probably would not have changed our decision, but it would have been nice to know before we got the bill. It was not clear if our waitress simply forgot to mention it, or if that is her normal practice, or if that is restaurant policy. I still recommend this restaurant (I intend to return) but if you go and you are offered a substitution, ask if there is an extra charge.

The crisy shicken sandwich is to die for , the fettuccine alfredo is deelish and so are the fries and dip. Go there at happy hour to enjoy the specials and the beautiful friendly waitresses will not let your cup go dry ????

The food was great! Speedy service! Expo time was immaculate (under 10 minutes )! Our waiter was training a new employee. Hailey (the girl from who getting trained), did a great job. If anything, you should come back to this establishment for her trainer, Ryan. Amazing service from Ryan every time! Will definitely come back! Thank you for a great evening!

Great experience. The staff were on top of their game today. The manager also caught subpar food before it got to the table and apologized to the customer in our group who had to wait a little longer and was kind enough to comp her for the delay. Always amazing service, do annual get together a with friends specifically for the white chocolatebtoqnie. But REALLY wish they had their old veggie burger menu instead of the mushroom burger, or had both veggie burgers as an options. Vegetarian menu is really lacking.

Unfortunately this Moxie's failed to meet expectations. I had higher Hope's and brought a coworker who joined mased on my recommendation. I had chicken and ribs, calamari and ice tea.my bill with an 18% tip topped 62 dollars. Considering the ribs were not fall off the bone the price didnt seem worth it. The table service was very good but over all not good value.

I always eat at Moxie's Restaurant Winnipeg whenever I'm here I like to order me a beef dip. Theres something about beef dipped in liquid that's just good I was tried dipping it in a Coke that was not good so I recommend you go to Moxie's have the beef dip but I suggest not to dip it in Coca-Cola. Maybe BBQ sauce or perhaps order a Budweiser and mix the two that might be delicious I don't know so in the end eat at moxies its good

Waitress was way over the top and excessive, asking us every 5minutes "how is everything, everything's okay" Got to a point where both the wife and I just snapped "yes, it's good... Still.... Can we have the bill. Please" Give your waiting staff more than 3 tables at a time. She was just pacing between tables desperate for something to do.

We were quite surprised that with Covid rules being pushed that my daughter, who was here from Calgary, wasn’t asked for proof of vaccine. I went to the washroom, first 3 stalls had no toilet paper, used up what was left in the 4th stall. Went to wash my hands, no soap in first dispenser, paper towels were almost at an end. Don’t preach about vivid then be so careless.

I ordered the calamari, it was overdone and the tempura was not crispy. And it came with what felt like a thimblefull of sauce. That was the bad, then the waitress came by and asked how everything was, my party said fine to good, but I didn't answer right away and she intuited it was not good. She sent the manager right over who asked me to critique the food, so I told him what I wrote above, he said they were going to try again and they did. The tempura was crispy and the calamari was much better cooked. Now that being said, there are better calamari options in the city even after it was redone. But it was above average and the service care was good.

Came here for lunch and service was very quick and staff was so nice! Even after shaking off the fact that I have a nut allergy, a manager came and told me that they will be doing everything they can to make sure everything is safe, which was great. (LOL glad someone's more concerned about my health than I am)

I've been here many times and have never been disappointed. Their Asian Chopped salad is amazing, rich with flavours. Tuesday is half price glasses of wine (which is a steal of a deal) and their Med Bread is still amazing, albeit they have cut down on the quantity of bread drastically.

I done here often as my son loves it. We will stop in after shopping. They have a small but excellent wine menu and a varied menu. I love that they have healthier meal options for kids. We probably dine here 50x a year. On the rare occasion where we have had an issue, staff/management has been MORE than gracious in making everything right. I like that they now have these iPad-looking drawing pads for the kids. It’s different and my son loves it!

Towards the end of our meal I kept seeing mice running around the tables! Manager offered a $30 voucher, gave us a $25 one instead, towards our next visit! I couldn't get out of there fast enough!

I ordered from skip the dishes last night, and had horrendous food poisoning. beef Dip with Fries and sushi cones. I was up from 3am onwards and couldn’t even keep water down. Very bad stomach cramping and vomiting. I can’t believe I paid to be food poisoned. Absolutely disgusting.

My sister in-law and I ran out to get dessert. The white chocolate brownie is a classic favourite. The sticky toffee pudding is to die for, and the flourless chocolate cake in my opinion was a little too rich but delicious nevertheless.

Food was pretty sub par and they wouldn't play sound for the Stanley Cup Finals even though half of the restaurant was waiting for them to. If you're looking to watch important sports games you're better off going to Boston Pizza.

My food experience here? In one word - awful! Ordered the beef dip au juice with fries. The shaved beef was only warm, almost cold, and the fries were only warm. Returned almost untouched and ordered the bruschetta instead. Pitiful portion size but tasted not too bad. Will definitely not return here. One star rating as the server did her best to apologize.

Moxies never fails to generate good service and good food. This past week however, I had the pleasure of being served by Hannah who provided outstanding service. Definitely the best service I’ve had! Extremely welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable in regards to the the menu. The service was fast and efficient and the food was amazing. I recommend this restaurant and be sure to ask for Hannah as your server for a great experience!

Moxie’s is a nice restaurant with a modern and upscale appearance and casual atmosphere. I enjoyed dinner with my family at Moxie’s recently and ordered the Thai Red Curry with soy protein as a vegetarian option. The menu did not have many vegetarian or vegan options and it would have been nice if there were more options. They did however, have a specific gluten free menu. The meal was tasty and flavourful. The service was friendly, prompt and pleasant. The restaurant was clean, but the air temperature was very cold and I was shivering for most of my visit. Would have been nicer if it more cozy! Would recommend Moxie’s for a nice dinner out.

We both finished dinner, and we both said the same thing at the same time---Wow!! Market salad was superb - house dressing excellent. Both of our dinners were off the charts. We dine out a lot. Had never been to Moxie's Polo Park before. Best dinner we have had in a while. Server Ryan was great - never pushed but always right there when we needed him. A very relaxing dinner.

I was so impressed with our experience at this moxies location. I recently was diagnosed with a severe celiac disease and have had troubles finding where I can’t and can eat safety. Not only was our waiter kind and knowledgeable and made our experience wonderful but we were also greeted and reassured by the manager that our food was being prepared safely with no cross contamination. Best dining experience both myself and my husband have ever had. If you are someone who struggles with finding options for your dietary needs such as celiac disease or gluten sensitivity I highly recommend dining at this location. Beautiful people, beautiful food, awesome experience!

I went here with some friends recently, and the two of us who had pasta dishes got horrendously bad food poisoning that night. My dish didn't even have meat in it. That experience really makes me wonder about their food safety practices.

Not very impressed with their service as the front appeared to be evacuated from a non existent fire drill with a sense of unwanted service. Although we had a very pleasant waiter with great food. None the less we were presented with payment immediately from an entirely different unknown employee and when leaving was approached by our host who was surprised we had already paid with him holding debit machine.

The desserts they bought out for our children, complete with smoke coming from dry ice underneath, made the cost worth it. Definitely something our kids talked about for days. The service was prompt and we were unrushed with tasty food to complete the experience. A good choice all round.

We had a lovely time and the staff were very covid conscientious, but unfortunately can't recommend them to anyone with allergies or food restrictions. The server who took our order repeated it back to us correctly but did not write it down and our appetizer came to us with meat added to it that we did not want - even though the mains we ordered were meat free. Presumably if we sent it back it would just be thrown out, which seems far more wasteful, bad for the environment and disrespectful to the animal so we didn't bother saying anything. Still it was very frustrating and disappointing, we are unlikely to return as a result.

Love Moxie's! It is my absolute go to place for Romantic Dinners, Birthdays, and Anniversaries. Unfortunately though when I was there last time the server forgot about us and we waited 18 minutes before our first interaction with her. She also was passive aggressive to us the entire time and was rude about me asking for the birthday dessert for my girlfriend. This made for a pretty poor birthday supper experience. I will probably be looking to start a new regular restaurant. (Food was fantastic though! Thank you chefs! Sorry the servers make you look bad)

Food and service were a 5 but taking off 2 stars because they make it impossible to order online without Apple or Google Pay. After all the trouble of entering the order you can’t checkout and have to google the location to find a phone number, phone them, and start all over. Would it be that hard to have a checkout option without Apple or google pay or at least have the phone number pop up with an order number to quote? Using corporate travel cards these are not options.

Just had the 2 bacon cheeseburger combo with 1lb of fries and wings through skip the dishes. The bag with the fries in it was labeled "1lb of fries". Picked it up - no way. So I weighed it packaging included and it was less than half that (7oz). Complained to skip, who contacted the restaurant and the restaurant said it was definitely 1lb. Wouldn't have even cared had they not labeled it with a specific amount and then denied it. The burgers were unfortunately overcooked and the buns were rock hard and dry. Ordered a side gravy which was 1/4 full. Maybe 1tbsp of gravy in the cup. Seriously. The wings were fine. My 4yr old liked them. I've had decent meals there in the past but for the cost of that meal I was disappointed. *Edited review to sound less cranky. Times are tough. Maybe it's a 16yr old kid who's never worked in a kitchen before just trying to make the best of his/her summer. Good for you. Hope you have a great summer.

Really friendly staff & the manager is truly awesome & clearly cares about his job. Always satisfied even if the foods a little off (one time the food we got was cold/still a bit frozen but they always handle it so well & it's only happen on two separate occasions). Drinks are always excellent & the seasonal menu is a must. Would definitely recommend stopping by the polo park location. I'm hoping with the mall Reno's that the moxies will be expanded or at least somehow have a patio added, I think that would be really great for pulling more ppl in especially in the spring and summer!

Haven't been to a moxies restaurant in a long time. My boyfriend and I decided to try the one at Polo Park. The inside was very nice and staff very friendly and always checking on you. I ordered a chicken sandwich which comes on a big bun with a nice size piece of chicken and loaded with Cole slaw. I also had French fries, but you can choose other sides. It was really good, quite filling and I would order it again. Over all it was an enjoyable place to spend lunch and I would definitely go back again.

Went for lunch yesterday with a friend and it was absolutely incredible. I'm a celiac person and the manager came and spoke with me and even served my food personally. I had no gluten reaction everything was perfect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Used to be uncomfortable coming to moxies now it’s one of our go to. Always great experience with servers even the ones in training. Had the Vindaloo dish with protein substitute & i loved it. Juicy & flavourful. Make sure you leave room for dessert, theirs is the best

Taylor was Great waitress, only issue was Fries arrived instead of ordered Salad, not Huge deal. Odd we asked for pitcher of water, were told not allowed. Would have made her job alot easier. Food was Very Good. Noticed how shallow the Sour Cream & Salsa dip bowls hat came w/Nachos. Same as ketchup came with fries. Look big but shallow as hell. Very cheap way to save $, my opinion.

They are fast. Bring your meal fast. They did not have the QR scanner and required photo ID. I had my QR code, my immunization card but it took me a long time to find my photo ID. I was not prepared for that. I had to leave quick so I got them to give me take-out. The server was very friendly. It's a favourite restaurant.

Mention the 2 negative entree experiences in a row to a manager after an extremely long hiatus from Moxies approximately a week to 10 days ago! He offered me a drink and I said I didn't drink. He walked away without offering any solution and I was previously a longtime Moxie customer. Moxie's had some decent fare and service in the distant past when they started at the St. Vital mall an awful lot of years ago when my young kids would love the smokin ice cream . Then I phoned and I got to talk to another manager when I got upset because I'm trying to buy Canadian because the US chains the profit goes to the US and I'm trying to boost Canadian businesses. I talked to a second manager said he would talk to the first manager I gave my phone number and my name. That was several days ago after a promised call back. Now I don't care what they've got to say. I immediately stopped in at The keg on my way home and had a great steak......see the reviews of the Keg! I think the importance of customer retention dwindles what's the captive audience of the mall. Kind of the same as going up to revolving restaurants on top of high rises or food court in the malls. Where most food chains and big box centers with 15 year olds and University students in the kitchen. Generally expensive and barely passable to simply gawd awful! Just my opinion. I'll keep going to Earl's and Joey though cuz they are quite good. I guess Moxie's has more than enough business what's the mall locations and don't need anymore?

My favorite place to go for any occasion or just because. Birthdays, holidays, dates. It's the perfect atmosphere for both a family setting or a romantic one. The process of getting your food is always fun and inclusive. Taking into account allergies or food intolerance. The chiefs are great to watch and staff here is always friendly. Only downside to this specific location is it's a tad small so come dinner rush, you can end up waiting for a table. Especially if there more then 4 people in your group.

We always enjoy this location. If there is a group of 6 or more with you, I recommend to reserve a table if you will be attending the mall on the weekend, it can be quite busy at this location. The best set up would be to stop here first, eat a big meal and then walk it off in the mall after while you go shopping. Although if you eat alot, it may be challenging to try on new clothes on a full stomach. The staff here are great, and we always seem very welcomed at this location. The dessert selection is pretty limited at this location, but majority of the time the food you get will be enough to fill you up.

Nachos have been revamped. The platter is huge so bring your appetite or bring a friend! The menu says the meat is spicy but it's not. Still tasted great. Chips were fresh and crispy and it had a ton of cheese!

Haven't been to Moxie's since before the pandemic. Server was great, but the menu has been reduced to not much there. I suppose that's becuase of the shutdown, but favourites such as the Med Bread is gone. I ordered my fave appetizer, the dry ribs and was very disappointed with the quantity I got for the price I paid. $15 for a small bowl? Wasn't like that before. My wife had chicken alfredo and the onions in the dish were not sautéed and were crunchy. Yuck. She did not like that and I couldn't blame her. This used to be our place to go, but unfortunately after today's disappointment, I don't think we'll go back.

Staff are amazing during such unprecedented times with comfortable seating, hand sanitizer upon your arrival with friendly hosts, management and our fabulous waiter Nicole who wear masks and super friendly service you can see and taste with the most delicious sirloin steaks, Caesar salad and oh so amazing bite of brownie. Definitely recommended as it had a great flow of service and customers. Very professional and excellent service. Our first dine in restaurant experience in months and the staff here definitely made us feel welcome and appreciated. The manager kept hovering around our table and dropped off the receipt at our table before we were done eating, not our waitress. On top of that the manager dropped our food off at our table but on the side of the table, not in front of us, then walked away. We had ordered one kids meal for our boys to share. He didn't ask if we needed another plate, though there are two kids sitting there. When the waitress brought the debit machine, she gives it to us and walks away. We paid and left the machine on the table..... really. No receipt. Seriously bad service. Great food though. Too bad.

i usually like this place. but when i came here the waitress was HORRIBLE at her job there was pepper spilled all over our table we had to wait 10 minutes for the even just our drink and the manager was the one who gave us the drinks. they messed up both me and my cousins order and then MESSED UP MY ORDER AGAIN and by then i was too hungry to even tell them to change it again. they gave us some measly “friends and family discount” which was like 5 dollars off. aka not enough reconciliation for our terrible experience here. oh and yeah my tortilla chips and tortilla was freaking stale. not impressed i’m going to go to different locations now. that SUCKED

Always loved Moxies and their service. Has a casual feel and the staff are super nice, even when they're just bringing your food to the table. I just really, really miss their old bruschetta dish but they killed it with the baby tomatoes now.

Went to Moxie's for dinner on a kids birthday. We were seated quickly and our server Ryan was very prompt and courteous. I had the Salmon entree, and we also had the cheese broccoli soup, lettuce wraps, and a couple other things. It was all prepared deliciously.

I go here about once a week with my wife and normally I would give it a 5 star rating Unfortunately todays not a normal day, and the service was nowhere near what I've come to expect from this location There was a weird residue in my beverage glass and when I pointed it out to my waitress, who was already not as polite as the others, she seemed instantly annoyed Yes, she got me a new drink, however it's a ten dollar drink and mine and my wives meals were also not cheap so when the drink itself wasnt comped I was extremely surprised It wasnt busy, I could have gotten proper service and unfortunately when she barely even apologized for the error, let alone didnt try in anyway to make it right I knew we wouldnt be coming back And dont get me wrong, were not difficult customers. The last time we came our waiter forgot to give us our dessert and had us waiting for it for over half an hour. However he handled it very well and comped one of my drinks for the wait and misunderstanding. I went on to tip him over $20 on a $100 meal I normally tip around 15-20% as my wife used to be in the service industry, however this lunch was so disappointing I paid with exact change

We enjoyed a nice family lunch in the lounge area with our adult children. We each had something different from the menu, and all were happy with their meals. I had really good chicken tenders with nice, crispy fries. My husband had the soup and a Caesar salad which was also very good. The server was excellent, friendly and helpful. Nice ambiance as well.

Moxie's has always beem reliably great through the years. Recently dined at the Polo Park location and had the steak sandwich which was simply superb. We have been to Moxie's many times and the food and service has never been less than great.

Went here for birthday dinner with my friends one night. The place was pretty nice, and the food tasted decent, but the portions were tiny. I had a steak, payed more the bigger size, and even then it was still so small. $30 for a tiny steak like that!? I mean it tasted good but dang it was tiny.

Ordered a rare steak, & I could tell once I pressed my fork on it, that it was not rare. Starving & not wanting fast food, I wouldn’t let them replace it. Still, it was tasty & delicious, the blk peppercorn sauce was to die for, almost never enough. Veggies were cooked perfectly, colored carrots, zucchini & parsnips I think, all delicious, all perfect. Mgr came over, wanted to replace my steak, I was devouring it. He did make my meal right and my spouse & I are planning to return for our anniversary with 2 other couples.

I haven't been to a Moxie's in God knows how long... My friend and I were celebrating our birthday months together and we were excited to try the burger from Le Burger Week. Definitely worth it! They even went above and beyond to cut it in half for us. The waitress' recommendation for the parmesan truffle fries was excellent! Everything about our experience was top notch. There isn't a better way to spend the afternoon day drinking with a friend and have a delicious lunch.

Had the Le Burger week burger 2020, Damn good Burger. Sounds weird, tastes amazing. Pickled papaya, purple yam bun, radishes, daikan, garlic aioli and carrots...the combination left me wanting another one. The right amount of kick mixed with just enough sweet...delicious

It's a chain, but it's one that generally delivers consistent food. It's not fine dining, but I'm not sure how many people really enjoy "fine" dining. Overall, it's a good place at a standard price. Their burgers are good, and I'm partial to the beef dip and cheddar broccoli soup. I'm giving five stars based on what your expectations are going into Moxie's. Service staff has always been excellent, the food is surprisingly good, and the price is, well, eating out isn't cheap.

Took my date and we sat in the lounge for a quick drink before we started our evening. We were told to seat ourselves and I was disappointed every booth for 2 was dirty (however the waitress did clean it promptly). There was a very nice ambiance and we will come back. Just hope with the world the way it is you are more attentive.
