Were in town to visit Winnipeg for the first time, and visited due to central location downtown and high visitor reviews. Didn't look ahead, but had a rather high price point for typical items (ex. burgers, appetizers), as wells as expensive markups for additions like $5.50 for seemingly small portion of chicken to their ginger teriyaki bowl. Enjoyed their mojito and amber house brew, but overall food didn't wow or awe. Wouldn't complain had the prices fit the food taste, but had great service regardless. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, just don't feel the bill matched the quality of food served.

The location is convenient for events (and honestly - this is probably the reason 95% of the patrons go here) but everything else was pretty lack luster. Server didn't inform us drink specials don't apply on event nights even though we gestured to the specials menu while ordering. Half of the items we ordered they couldn't produce (even restaurant staples like coffee). Straight whiskey on the rocks was the most watered down drink we've ever received from a bar.

This restaurant is conveniently located at the MTS Center. It is very busy on a game or concert night. If it was not attached to the arena, it probably won't be as popular. I gave it an extra star because of the convenience factor. The food is OK. I would say better than pub food but not going out for a special meal good. Our waitresss was very friendly and informative. The decor is nice. It has a lounge that is busy and noisy. Great place to meet before a game to have a beverage or two and appetizers.

IHad a very good experience. Host and waitress Jennifer were very welcoming and solicitous. Jennifer offered order recommendations without being bossy and suggested options to get the best of both worlds between two dishes I was dithering between. My wait time was appropriate for the dish I had ordered and the food was hot and delicious. It would have been nice to have more single-person options for appetizers, as the appetizer menu is oriented for pairs or groups to share. To be fair, I didn't ask about possibilities for half sizes. They do offer a 'bite size' version of their signature white chocolate brownie, which was served warm and delicious. I was taking my dessert to go, and they made sure to ask if I wanted it heated, and to package the toppings ( whipped cream, ice cream, choc sauce) separately so as not make it soggy. Restaurant was comfortable and not too loud or busy on a Wednesday evening. I wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Was surprised at the lack of service given that the lounge wasn’t that busy. Waitress was nowhere to be found most of the night and didn’t seem to have much interest in being there. Food was decent, my steak was a little tough to chew but the vegetables and potatoes were excellent. Convenient location, typically a chill atmosphere. Highly recommend the rose sangria!

Honestly, I expected more. The services was comparable to burger king. Our waiter was nice but said sure after anything and everything. Then finally, when our food arrived the person delivering the food back talked me and my friends when we said he mixed the food around. This place is mediocre at best. Find another place on this street. Overall, the food was still very good.

Moxie's is probably the best of all the chains. The menu is smaller but this means the options are usually higher quality and that's true here too. A simple Cheese Burger here is much better then one at say Boston pizza. Service is quick, and I made a special request and the management came to our table to verify it so you know the waitress communication was good. Bar staff was able to handle complex orders. Atmosphere was good. Will come back.

Nice spot to hit before of after a game. I've been a few times and if you DO go on a game day expect it to be busy. I've been once on an off day and the service was exceptional. This is easier on a slow day then when you have over 15,000 people in the arena. Great chain restaurant and they have a very nice staff.

We were in Winnipeg for the weekend visiting family. I had purchased a Moxies gift card and decided to take everyone out for dinner. It has been awhile since we have been to Moxies and decided to visit the Polo Park location. Our server Ashley was warm and attentive. The food and service was excellent. Mike the manager was equally attentive and a lot of fun. He really made the service that much better. Will definitely return.

One star because our meal was free. Took over 20 minutes to place our order even though we arrived already knowing what we wanted to order. No one would take it! Out of Little Brown Jug beer so they provided a free drink. Took them 20 minutes to figure this out. Provided no cutlery or napkins to eat food with. Forgot to bring the sweet potato fries. Apparently I am supposed to remind them. French fries were horrible and overcooked. Had to leave half our food behind because it was time to go to the hockey game. We arrived over an hour before the event. Watching the table beside us get constant service, attention, drinks, new order of food/appetizer over and over did not help either.

Went for the advertised Happy Hour and was refused because it was an event night (MB Moose) but the event didn't start for another 3 hours. I was one of only a few paying customers yet the food was still slow. Staff were more interested in complaining how slow it was than servicing their customers. Over-priced and poor service with lame Happy Hour policies.

The food was absolutely delicious and all of us tried something new: salmon & avocado cob salad, wings, cheddar cheese broccoli soup plus kids grilled chicken and jasmine rice. Our shared items bruschetta and calamari made to perfection. Our drinks replaced before being asked along with the manager making sure we were enjoying what we ordered!! Omg and the bathrooms were CLEAN which is a huge bonus and reflects how they care about what the consumer sees!! All in all I really enjoyed this restaurant and completely deserves the 5 * review. You will not be disappointed at this location!! Happy eating in a clean well organized restaurant!!

This Moxie's Grill and Bar is the perfect location if you are attending an event at the Bell MTS Place. Conveniently located on the premises, you can enjoy a good meal or have a few drinks before or after a game or concert. The food is amazing. It is a chain restaurant so the menu is consistent. I love the burgers because they are always cooked to perfection and fill you up. Two thumbs up!!! This particular location was lively and gave off a lot of energy. Staff was extremely friendly and provided quality service. For an awesome night out, this is your spot.

Went for lunchtime to meet several friends. Very modern upscale decor, good service, large selection. Visited on the last Friday before Christmas and it was not very busy, was told it had been very crowded the day before, but this was a day of office parties so not too many people out for lunch. Usually you should make reservations. I had the tuna poke, a sort of sushi appetizer, that was very good, but at $12.00 was kind of expensive to my budget. My lunch mates had aside variety of dishes, the beef sandwich au jus looked good, as did the pastas. Nice range of drinks, and the coffee was large and no quibbles about refills. All in all, a nice place but a bit on the expensive side for regular lunch. Good for occasionally meeting old friends. I bussed it, several people took their own cars. Parking downtown is not the easiest thing to deal with but no one was complaining overly ...
