My cousin and I decided to check out this casino, as we’ve never been, and got refused entry for having a written vaccine card. Annoying, but fine. They have a right to refuse entry. We were on our way out with no problem, until the white security woman started to berate us. She told us we weren’t a high enough standard to go in and that we were never going to go anywhere with a written vaccine card despite being fully vaccinated and getting entry to restaurants, etc. We tried to diffuse the situation by saying thank you and leaving, but she continued to raise her voice to a yell as we walked down the hallway towards the parkade.

Around midnight and 2 am. An old man driving red van comes to deliver newspapers at the north doors of the Mcphillips Casino. He parks his vehicle wrongly. He is too busy filling bags with newspapers than concentrating on driving. He drives by stopped vehicles from the right side thus causing a risk to persons getting off. When confronted he abuses and threatens. The Casino security should look into this and make the door ways safer for the patrons and others.

Not a bad looking casino. The information counter signed me up for a membership card within minutes and I was playing the slots in no time until I migrated to the tables for bigger stakes. I'll be returning for my birthday to see what swag I get.

Had $1.00 worth of expired stubs, the staff said they would need authorization from a supervisor, seriously? And no hot water to wash your hands for 20 seconds as instructed by them. And no where on their website does it state you must pull down your mask before entering.

So my birthday is on July 4th 1998. I have two ID's my drivers and my old passport. I have been going to this casino ever since I turned 18. Been a loyal customer and always smiling to them. "Have a great day" I would say. But I get it. I don't look 18. I'm 4'4 with medical history. Being born premature. THE STAFF LITERALLY ASKED ME HOW I GOT INTO THE CASINO. We really enjoyed the whole experience of McPhillips. The machines we played were a lot of fun. It was surprising to see a McDonald's deep inside the casino. The parking garage was clean and easily accessible. The Skyway bridge was a fascinating addition. Even security was wonderful to deal with! Thank you.

The renovation have really spruced this place up. The place alone is well maintained and generally upbeat to walk into. From my experience, bathrooms are kept clean and tidy, which counts for a lot. The patrons however are what in my humble opinion hold this place back from being rated higher. As does the surroundings, expect to get a subtle smell of diesel waft your way from the CP lines as you walk from the parking lot to the casino.

Don't complain because you don't win. It's random chance, not the organization trying to rob you. With that said, I have had consistently positive experiences at McPhillips St. Station. The food is good, the machines are diverse, although the side with the McDonald's and Keno could use renovations, as it does not look as nice as the other half of the building.

Don't go to the casino expecting to win big money. Sure sometimes you win big, but more often you will lose all your money if you have no self control. Overall the variety of games are great, and the staff are polite and well mannered. Go to have fun, and try to have self control if you do win.

Had an absolute blast here! I'm not a seasoned gambler at all so when I hit the roulette table for the first time ever the person working it and the other players were all really helpful in getting me to figure everything out. Then I hit the horsey racing game and that was spectacular. Probably one the best games I've ever played in a casino. A+ experience, will definitely go again!

Good food at the restaurant, free coffee on the gaming floor, beer is cold, decor is nice, staff friendly. Lots of parking, there's even a full McDonald's inside. Players club has good rewards too.

Great place to hang out. Very nice inside. The only thing I don't like about this place is that they charge a commission for betting on Banker at Baccarat. Otherwise a great casino. I love the interior decoration and the many bars and restaurants inside. And parking is never a problem since they have a huge 3-story parking lot right across the street.

Second time I've ordeted takeaway and it was horrible!! First time it was a Hawaiian pizza topped with red onions, a funky tasting cheese, with half burnt ????!! Thought it would NEVER happen again, was of course wrong!! Spent almost 14.00 with tax for three VERY TINY, SHRIVELED pieces of chicken and a scoop of very dry potatoes ????. The leg was even burnt ffs ????!! Cannot believe how they can consciously pack something like that for their customers cause if I would've eaten there, it would've been sent back ????!! DISGUSTING!!

Afun place to go when you want to play some slots ,bingo, poker and have a drink or 2. Parking is free in the structure or the lot. Handicapped parking is right out front and taxis are available.

Fun place to spend an evening. Free parking lots of food and drink options. Not as newly renovated inside as Club Regent at least from first glance. Would only be back on basis that it is a closer drive but for any Casino needs in town I would rather go to Regent.

This is a new edit for March 27th as im disguested by the service in the resturant for the 3rd time the last 2 times it was kinda busy but its quiet today and we waited over 30 minutes just to get a menu even with like 4 or more waitresses moving around us. When ever I go it's just as heck all of the slots I want to use are full or people are using multiple slots at once which I don't think is right. The one table I sat at had a pretty rude woman working it didn't say hello just told me how much it was no conversation just a cold rude experience. At least it's pretty clean here.

They did a big renovation from the old McPhillips street station and made it much more modern. Looks great! They have a new food area called loft 180. They serve higher end food that's much more upscale and innovative. I tried a number of dishes. Very good. I preferred the main dishes over the desserts that I did try The Scotch egg was probably my favorite. I did like the watermelon, grapefruit cheese dish. I only played a few slot machines and did not win, but we didn't play for very long. It was a fun night out. The parking is much better now. It's all covered on the one side we parked. Taking the bridge to get in was so much nicer than having to do the trek outside.

Great casino. Great people & service. Poker Review: All the dealers were great, including Beau and the two other dealers. The upstairs has a real homie feel that makes it very enjoyable to play. The only negatives were that you cannot use your cellphone at the table and they are OVERLY strict about using it. This isn't a knock on the casino itself as they have to follow the gov't rules. It would be great if they could work towards getting this changed like the rest of the U.S. Casinos. Casino is only open until 3am.

I enjoyed our visit. We went for an hour, stayed for five. What we really like is the distance allowed between slot machines. Unless they are a bank of dedicated 'brands', slots are grouped in threes, not always of course, but you never feel shoehorned between devoted fellow slot-divers. I had great luck for an out-of-towner. Perhaps my wins have coloured my opinion but I like the variety of slots, the cleanliness, and the airey, classy feel of McPhillips Station Casino. Lots of easy free parking (although could be quite a walk), but the design of the property allows for convenient front door drop off for mobility challenged patrons. Restaurants are available, but breakfast is not offered. Washrooms are easily located, as are bill changers. Property felt very safe overall, but the parking levels worried me just a tad. Have fun, enjoy.

As a casino/entertainment center goes, this is a clean place to enjoy an evening with impeccable security both inside an the surrounding parkade and out door parking lots. The reason I only gave four stars is cause the A/C an heat are spotty inside. Cold in one area, very hot 15ft away but other wise I great place to spend an evening

A place that doesn’t offer anything except for gamblers....sadly they closed the upper deck entertainment which was mine and many favourite place in the city.... entertainment management has no clue of what they’re doing!!!!!!! Buffet which used to be a good place for all kinds of occasions has been replaced by machines.... bar area most times staff can be very rude and unprofessional.. if one makes a complaint they will definitely use that against you..... tables are poorly cleaned and seats are never done......!!!!! What happened to our city?!!?! The ancestors of this country worked so hard and so proudly only to see all going to different civilizations that appreciate nothing in here except money!!!!!

Visited the casino on Oct 07 the day before Thanksgiving and had their Thanksgiving dinner. Wow, what a difference in the quality of food. While this casino has renovated and reduced the number of restaurants to one now called Dixie's Lounge, I must say that the quality of the food has gone down hill. The Thanksgiving dinner was teasteless. The turkey was dry. The stuffing was bland. There was no cranberry sauce and the rolls was dry. Is this casino just concerned about the slots now? If so, get out of the restaurants business. Bad. Bad.

I enjoy coming here. The Upper Deck Sports Bar is a great place to watch sporting events. The casino offers VLTs (video lotto) as well as, poker, black jack etc tables. The casino also offers conference rooms or halls for booking events.

First time I've actually EVER been in a casino. There's a bit more walking involved then I would have thought but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Machines were all in working order, and everything was clean and crisp. Bring a newbie to casinos (not gambling, just the actual place) I needed a bit of help to understand everything, but hey I even won a bit! Great place, check it out. Parking is a bit tricky at certain times but good as well, it's free afterall.

I have gone a few times and since the renovation I would have to say that it's a nice improvement. It's a great place to go an have fun playing the slots or at the tables. You can even make it an event by going for dinner and then stay and play for an hour or so. The food has always been good, the staff are always helpful and you always have a chance to beat the house ????. I would recommend going just once to try it out for yourself. It's even better when you go with a group.

Great new facility, nice new machines, parking/ traffic flow really needs some common sense approach to exiting lots to main streets very bad. Handicap parking walk way used as extra parking making it harder to walk.

The casino's in Winnipeg are adequate with a few cool surprises, but being in the center of the country and a practical convention city I was hoping for a much fairer price on liquor at times as well as some much better food specials. Honestly the prices are horrific and embarrassing. Could also use more of live poker setting when things open up again. Please keep working at it McPhillips Station, and survey your visitors for input.

Typical gov run money grabbing casino. No cocktail waitresses with drinks of any sort. ????. However this time I did walk out with more money than I walked in with. ???? Soooo. I’ve revisited the casino once again. We used to visit for the good food and some small play. Well the food selection has gone down hill. The prices have gone up. The slots are TIGHT!!! Not much reason to return. Certainly not as often as we used to.

Blackjack, table game: I monitored some rounds at the table for 10 minutes. Always the house has 19, 20, 21. Always the dealer wins. Customers always loses because people would only get 16, 17, or lower. Otherwise bust.

I just went for a meal at the restaurant as I heard it is good. I was not disappointed. I had their Monday’s set dinner which is the 12oz steak. It costs only $14 and it was cooked perfectly to my liking. I also had the cheese cake for dessert and it was also very good.

Just finding the entrance to the Parkaid made me feel that luck was not on my side as i drove around aimlessly in the parking lot looking for signs only the find out that its on the complete opposite side of the Casino once my vehicle was parked i enjoyed the view from the top of the parkaid more than the casino however am personally not a big fan of gambling so my opinion is somewhat bias, id rather spend my time and money elsewhere, also not very impressed with the location in general its a very industrial part of town....

Disappointed in the Service. Staff very unfriendly to the point of ignoring you at Gift Shop when I went there to purchase a lottery ticket ( staff are always unfriendly at this shop). Also, does not feel safe or comfortable as there are a lot of Homeless people hanging around in the Casino.

Well, my mother in law, my husband and I went to McPhillips Street Casino for dinner on New Years Eve. Considering they advertised this event they were understaffed and terribly unorganized. We placed our order, 2 half racks of ribs and I ordered the special prime rib. Ribs were served and nothing was mentioned about the prime rib. Approximately 10 minutes later the waitress said she was sorry for the wait but they had a table of 12 come in when we did and that was why it was taking so long. After my husband and mother in law finished eating I spoke with the manager and she apologized but by now I am past the stage of being patient. There are people at tables all around us waiting for there prime rib dinners as well. I told the manager we were leaving, paid for the ribs and left. Needless to say I am totally disgusted with this poor service. There is NO excuse for this, they advertised the prime rib special and it should have been available but it wasn’t. A table of 12 was not the problem here, they were poorly staffed for an advertised event. Poor customer service and management are the problem. I for one will never go to any Casino again! S Krause

Of all the Casinos I've visited in the past 30 years, this one is by far the worst. This place is boring, depressing, and the everything including the staff makes this place feel like you are literally at a funeral. I was told it is gov't run, and you will immediately be able to tell when you interact with any of the staff...they are like zombies personality wise. The slots are EXPENSIVE to play all lines per bet, the table games are bj or roulette and that's IT. No big jackpot games either. Maybe $50,000 is the most you could ever win here. The Bingo games have NO stage or caller present. I'm not joking. A barely audible speaker above some computer screens is the scene there...no bingo cards available. Really bizarre. It just plain sucks. Not fun at all. AVOID IT. There is lots of other things to do in this city!

Stopped going since they shut down the buffet. No free soda pop. Would go every weekend for dinner buffet. We now go to South Beach casino. Which has a great buffet free soda. We also stay at South beach hotel.

I love the changes the McPhillips Station Casino have done. Beautiful outside and inside. My only complaint is the areas designated for smokers. Terrible! I have been to casinos in Canada from the east to the west and they all have created spaces that are sheltered and warm. Will not find that here I am sad to say.

I was surprised at how nice this casino was. It's so massive inside you could get almost get lost in there. They have tons of different machines to play at. My favorite is the electronic roulette tables, which they had a few of. They also had a horse racing game which was fun too. We ate at the restaurant here and the food was extremely good and at a very good price. I also got a discount for being a member at the casino. I wasnt able to win any money unfortunately but I will for sure come back to this place!

The bathrooms are definitely not made for handicapped people because I couldn't get my scooter into their bathroom and I cracked the side of mine trying to get it in. Not very friendly staff at the customer service card registry either.

Adequate parking with shuttle serive to pick up and drop you just outside the lobby. The current 2 for 1 dinner promo is a must try. There are 5 main dishes to choose from; variants of either pork,chicken or fish. Good tasting meals for a bargain price. ???? (MWF only)

Actually a pretty good place to eat. Gone a few times with my grandma for lunch. Bingo is super popular here as well. Even with the construction going on there is no impact to you during your trip. The new parking is amazing. I definitely prefer this place over Regent.

I found my experience every time I visited, the food is very bland, the veggies were not crispy and fresh. I had fries and had to send them back. They were rock hard and transparent almost like they were either old and warmed up again awful. The food was never hot, semi warm. The machines are dirty, people don't want to touch greasy machines. Other than that, service was great, despite other things.
