You will see all the reviews of real people like you who are consuming the services of Woodcutter's Blanket (Night Club) near Whitehorse (Canada).
Currently the firm gets a score of 4.6 stars over 5 and the score is based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that it reaches an feddbacks average is virtually the highest, and it is founded on a high number of opinions, so we can say that the assessment is quite credible. If many people have bothered to value when they are happy with the service, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to put scores when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Night Club belongs to the category of Bar.
Was there for taco night and I must say, they were very nice. Whoever made the tortilla's is very good at it. On top of that they serve a really nice selection of beers. Staff was very friendly and deserves a mention as well. My only two points are that there is no 'normal' beer, but only craft and that the peanut butter cheesecake was too frozen and way too much, but still very good.
Drinks were really unique and tasty.
Cozy...place 4 food
Must visit bar in Whitehorse! It's that simple. Craft beer, epic vibe and great service
I like Woodcutter's Blanket, good atmosphere to spend time there with friends...
Nice patio but drinks were too expensive. They were out of the cocktail special when we got there.
Good food, amazing drinks, I would definitely go again! The burger is a bit expensive but it is delicious. All locally sourced meat too!
Best cocktails in town and in house beers are really good too. Really tasty snack options too.
Amazing place, great food and beer with an amazing atmosphere.
Nice cost and place to chill. Good staffs, good patrons, good drinks
Fantastic beers ! Friendly staff !
Cozy and fun place for beers and bites. Creative cocktail list and great local brews.
Great beer sampler!
Excellent food! Will be returning!
The owner is crazy, but the drinks are amazing
The food we had was the best part of our experience, although rather pricey for what it was. We each got a flight of beers and only liked one of them, the patio bitter. Wouldn't go back for beer. Service was even worse, the tables on either side of us were served while we were waiting to order long after we put our menus down. The server wouldn't make eye contact. We almost felt awkward enough to get up and leave before she finally came.
I have been there twice before and had a decent time. However, I went in recently and sat down for 10 mins without being approached. I went to find the waitress who assured me it was “sit where you like”. 30 mins later, I was still waiting for even a menu/to be approached. I tried making contact but was avoided. I ended up leaving hungry and disappointed.
Talk about all flash no substance. This review is for the restaurant. The food seemed interesting in terms of options and appearance but the taste was nowhere to be found. Very pricey for such insipid taste. To me either the choices were the wrong ones or the execution or the ingredients were off. The service was adequate, having to chase servers is never a good thing. The ambiance was very good and so was the presentation of the dishes which made the food so underwhelming. If I had to describe the food, it would be as if it was fast fashion, or a much lower version of Zara. It looks good on the eyes but falls fast apart when you notice it's not there. At this price, it's almost disrespectful to serve such bad food. Please do a tasting of your own menu and tell me its good food with any form of honesty. The meat was terrible and the only thing salvage were the tortillas for the tacos. When I have to see what I ordered to make judgement of what I am eating is a big problem. The bar gets a 4 star review. Very good offerings and cocktails. Pricier in a per drink basis but for value is very fair. They are on the stronger side in that you pay the fair price given the contents. I however do not like when bars are political pods for politicians to go on their soap box. As such, this place makes me feel slimey and it feels dishonest in a way that it detracts from the experience. Some bars stand out due to their support of some values, and elevates them as lighting rods of new movements, this is the contrary and its reflected in the score. Overall, focus on improving your food and stop asking for support when you charge the prices you do without fully delivering. Also don't be surprised if people dislike the place due to its association with politicians of a certain world view. Please fix your food as the place is very nice and it does have an aesthetic that could be great if the food was anything above just edible.
Great food and drinks and excellent service. Very friendly staff and interesting and creative menu options.
We always had good experience at this place right before this Wednesday. By having wrong people on the front line you will be losing even loyal to you customers.
Love this place, the servers and owner are super friendly and really know their stuff.
Top notch drinks - the bartenders are knowledgeable and engaged in their craft - the result is almost always the right drink. Price point is high - but I suppose you get what you pay for.
Best local beer in town. Great staff, lots of fun.
This is my favourite place for drinks. If you're looking for mixology look no further. My beer drinking friends love the beer. The food is so delicious too!
Nice quaint establishment
Cool little spot. Small menu but good beer and had a good sandwich as well.
This place is only a couple months old, however they are SUPERB brewers. 8 different beer on tap, and some nice snacks to enjoy while you quench your thirst. Definitely worth the stop while in Whitehorse!
Amazing beer, excellent food, cool staff, charming atmosphere.
Very nice atmosphere. Friendly staff but a very limited menu and rather expensive.
Awesome cocktails, very impressive whiskey list, might be the only place downtown with Winterlong on tap.
Popular cozy bar
Great music, both live and generally! Wish there was merchandise, the logo is awesome
Some locals highly recommended the Woodcutter's Blanket for a few delicious beers brewed in house, and I was not disappointed! As a beer connoisseur that loves his Pacific Northwest-style IPAs, the selection here did NOT disappoint. I definitely will make an effort to visit here again, next time I'm in Whitehorse!
Good service, nice drinks.
Love the ambiance. Good food and great cocktails
Went on a Friday night, was reasonably busy. This seems to be a hangout for the late 20’s-early 40’s, very nice atmosphere and good spacing for seats. Ordered the burger and chicken parm(house made pasta) both were very good! Burger is a little small if you are hungry; we sampled 4 of the in house beers which were very nice! Wait staff were accommodating and pleasant, prices were reasonable for the North. Highly recommended if you can get on the patio in the sun!
Got drinks right away then had to wait 35 min for waitress to even ask if we wanted food
Too expensive and too cold in the new extension...the service was slow...we waited 15 min then had to go to the bar to order our own drinks...the salad was just a few greens with some goat cheese for $14...no protein or nuts...I'm not impressed.
Nice little pub, friendly bar tender.
These people really care about making good beer.
Wow! Quickly seated and served! Very good beer selection! Really enjoyed the Wit Beer! ???? We decided to try out their sandwiches and glad we did! Very flavorful. Only wish they served it with fries instead of chips. But on that note, the dip they served with the chips was on point! Prices were fair, and we'd gladly return! ???????? If my review helped, please give me a ???? Cheers ????
Great selection of drinks including beers brewed on-site. Friendly attentive staff. I don't typically order burgers but I will definitely order their burger again - maybe the best ever burger I've had
Very mature and intimate vibe. Food and drinks are great, we had the Haskap ale, mai thai, and fajitas. Food portion is plenty for the two of us to share. Overall great experience.
Stopped in while we were visiting Whitehorse and sat at the bar. The bartender was quite helpful giving us a number of tips about what to see and do in Whitehorse and the beers / cocktails were excellent. We didn't have the food, but did meet the owner, James, who went out of his way to pour us some crowlers outside regular hours as we just had to bring some of the spruce bitter beer back with us. Modern, upscale, craft brewpub with lots of character and should be your first stop for drinks when visiting Whitehorse.
Amazing service, food and drinks. Highly recommend. If you are short on time and want to really experience Whitehorse, you need to check it out. There's nothing else like it.
They didn't have a lager but did an awesome job of suggesting an alternative ????????. Food was fantastic and service was bloody excellent!!!!
came in from Calgary AB: amazing beer, food, and atmosphere.
Hipster bar so hip they don't even have a sign with the bar's name. Very fancy drinks and cozy Yukon atmosphere.
A tiny log cabin with stuffed moose on the roof. The kind of place you would hope to find on your first visit to the Yukon!! The place to go if you want a good cocktail creation. Was recommended to us by a local merchant. We couldn't get in until after 9.30 as they were hosting a wedding. We showed up at 9.30 and the reception was still going strong, we sat at the bar, had some great cocktails and enjoyed the wedding guests dancing the night away.
Best spot in town for good eats & drinks.
Incredible beer! Awesome owner! Make sure you check this place out.
This has be to one of the best bars I have been to in a while. The bartender was knowledgeable in alcohol and drinks, the atmosphere is nice, and the variety of drinks are vast. Highly recommend.
Best place for a unique cocktail!
LOVED the drinks. Our favorites were the toddy, old fashioned, empress 75, and the New York sour. The food menu looked really good too, but we’d already eaten. The ambiance is nice, and the staff are very attentive and friendly.
Best beer in Whitehorse - hands down. If you like craft beer this is your pub.
Funky place to enjoy some tapas-style food and yummy beer! Very friendly and a good vibe!
What the heck is your phone #?
Great location, really nice place but the service!!!! And drinks are pricey, nothing special and you have to fight for your order, otherwise you stay thirsty.
Local craft brewery with a rotating menu of beer on tap
Best in town
Decent whiskey and gingers
Really nice for a new brewery. Food selection was limited as with their beers. Beers were okay but not exceptional.
The beer here is usually amazing, and the brewer never brews the same beer twice. This is a blessing, in that there's always new beers to try, but also a curse when he brews something amazing and you know you'll never get to try it again! The food and cocktails are also great!
Excellent food.
Great decor and even better beer!
Great vibe...Craft beer and unique menu is super.
Great food and drinks!
Nice atmosphere, the drink selection I'm still on the fence... Stay tuned
Chill place. Accommodating to gluten free.
Great drinks!
Some good beers. Not (imo) stellar but well brewed. Saison was delish and their best beer imo.
Good beer, great food, friendly staff, lively atmosphere
Great beer and food, a must visit.
Good cocktails, yummy food.
Great place for a date!
Friendly staff and great beers
Expensive cocktails, black label is affordable
Cozy and great drinks
Excellent service. Excellent cocktails! :D
Went there for the Thursday night burger and beer special. The oatmeal stout was very smooth and the burger and soup were excellent. A good value at $19. Service was very good and accommodating. Will go again
Cocktails and service are always spot on! And the atmosphere is beautiful! Especially right now with the Christmas decorations - and Miracle cocktails! Aaaaand the fun glasses!
Just went for cocktails with my girlfriend and another couple, were from ottawa and never seen such well thought out recipes 10/10 would recommend
A must experience if in Whitehorse.
Comfortable place to grab a pint. Great beer and atmosphere, that’s all I know... and Chicago popcorn! Oh man, home made
Great charcuterie boards and cocktails!
A quaint place for a cocktail. Their new craft beers are worth a try...
Had the lady grey and it was delicious. Great balance between all the elements of the drink. Bravo Woodcutters bravo
Brilliant cocktail bar. Very good cocktails and nice atmosphere...
A wonderful new Reno. Always excellent service.
