My partner called and made a reservation for a Saturday night a few weeks ago. When we arrived, they couldn't find the booking. That's fine, these things happen, but we were really annoyed because it felt like they were blaming us for it. They even suggested that maybe we'd booked at the wrong restaurant, and my partner had to pull out her phone to show them it that it was their number she had called. Anyway, I know they were busy, mistakes happen and these are difficult times. If they'd taken ownership and apologised, it would have been totally fine and we probably just would have rebooked for another time. As it was, we left with a bitter taste in our mouths and went to the dirty northern for what turned out to be a nice dinner.

Dinner was not what I expected at all. Service is nice and friendly but the food was not what I thought it will be. A certain lack of flavour in the plate and the wrong side dish made this experience barely acceptable.
